Blind In Light is one of the best tracks on the label. Love it to pieces man. The atmosphere in the song is unlike any other and the lead in the drops is just bliss.
Lol I love "This Feeling". It doesn't touch any of your top picks for sure, but for a danceable club banger I think the vocals and production are super catchy
@@DCRanks WHATTTTTTTT :OOOOO this will make my friends hella mad since i promised this in my 50 sub special but i use imovie on a macbook 2! this is so unreal! a little explanation - (i was kinda of sused out with some of the effects you did originally so..., and i was getting fed up with imovie so i just watch your content to calm down. Little did I know one of my fav creators is on the same tool as me ) love your channel keep up the awesome work and effort your doing ❤🤜🤛💪
I'm kinda suprised thefatrat ever got on monstercat cuz he was already pretty popular and doing fine on his own. But his discog has so many gems I think I'd be really cool to see him do stuff on mc again. Btw you forgot Adam Young (owl city guy) and Rob Gasser with his collab with Insan3Lik3
20 | 2/10 - I don't know. I used to like this a bit back then, but hearing it after so long makes me realize how lazy the song is. And you're right, the artwork is also lazy. The rap doesn't really do anything, and I can't really understand it. 19 | 2/10 - Feels like it could use a tune up. Old-gen dubstep can have its charm when done right, though it's ones like these that make it sound...dated. 18 | 2/10 - I don't really know how to feel with this one. I just wasn't feeling anything. 17 | 2/10 - You know, with this kind of artwork, you'd expect something synthwave-y or pop, but... eh... it's not clicking with me. 16 | 5/10 - I will agree, Ehiorobo has some amazing vocals. Though repeating the same thing is kinda getting on me. 15 | 5/10 - I pretty much overlooked this one, but I will say, it's very relaxing to listen to, even if the song is more of a sad atmosphere. 14 | 6/10 - The reason that I enjoyed this song was that I had sort of resonated with the story behind the song, in that it was something about sticking together in a relationship that's falling apart. The lyrics written kind of show that, and Nevve's performance provides the harshness leading up to the drop. Again, another sad atmosphere-type song. 13 | 5.5/10 - This one's a bit wonky, kinda hoping that he'll make another release. It's growing on me, but this kind of halftime is something I'm not used to hearing. 12 | 6/10 - Yeah, this song is pretty dated for its time. Melody is great, though it is a bit repetitive. 11 | 6/10 - I really grew out of this song to be honest with you, heck even the remixes. And honestly, I'm about the same in reference to his other stuff. The only one I really keep on repeat is his "remix" of Wrabel's Ritual. 10 | 6.5/10 - It's decent, I'll give it that. Though I feel like there's nothing really groundbreaking to give other than its unique sound design. 9 | 7/10 - I absolutely agree. And honestly, I would've laughed at you if you told me TheFatRat would make an appearance on the label someday. And now that he has, he did a really great job on this tune. 8 | 8/10 - I don't know why, I just really enjoyed this one a lot. The cool sound design was definitely a bonus point in it's theme with being robotic. 7 | 8.5/10 - Certainly not Essenger's first, but damn, his vocal performance is fantastic in this song. The whole synthwave/cyberpunk feel is a big plus for me, and I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff. 6 | 7/10 - Very good tune. Gritty, energized, this is pure Neurofunk. I do hope Kumarion comes back. 5 | 7/10 - It's great, and although the melody isn't too memorable imo, it gets the job done! It's certainly a different feel with the production that went into this, but this is really good! 4 | 9/10 - As much as I liked some of the remixes, the original still packs its punch, and the drops really show that! 3 | 8/10 - Amazing guitar solo in that drop, and my god, is this something special... Truly beautiful. 2 | 9/10 - I don't know, this just has a beautiful charm to it. It doesn't have a story, but it's made up for with the harp in the beginning and guitar in the drops. 1 | 9/10 - Truly unique in every way. The stutter in the drop is super groovy and Trove's vocals to top it like a cherry on a cake, Snareskin definitely made this special! (P.S. I'm a sucker for Trove's vocals. The Journey and Monster are great examples.)
#20: My ears bleed every time I hear this song, and it only gets a quarter of a point for "effort" (0.25/10) #19: It's super dated now, but I still think it was not very good even at the time (3/10) #18: I kinda like this song, but I don't think 23 would've returned after this song because it was pretty generic, even at the time (5/10) #17: This is one of the few songs I listened to that I didn't react to because it was so bland and boring (4/10) #16: Ehiorobo's vocals bother me (4.5/10) #15: This song was stuck in my head yesterday and I don't know why, I don't even like it (4.5/10) #14: I used to like this a lot, but it grew off me significantly (6/10) #13: I don't like this style of bass music that much (5/10) #12: I don't like the vocals, but the DnB production isn't bad (6/10) #11: First of all, Why was Marshmello on Monstercat in the first place?, and second of all, the thing that makes it worse is that my teacher actually played this song in 6th grade when me and my classmates were "graduating from elementary school" and I cringed because I hated it back then, and I still do now (2/10) #10: The "Push It" samples flow very well with the drop, I like this (7/10) #9: I do like this song, but like Marshmello, it's weird having someone this popular outside of Monstercat on Monstercat (7/10) #8: This is the first song on this list I would actually listen to, I love Robotaki's sound design (8.5/10) #7: I want Cyazon to come back (9.5/10) #6: Same as #7 (9.25/10) #5: I love the lead, it's so unique and pleasant on the ears (9.5/10) #4: I also love this lead, but not because it's pleasant on the ears, just because it's total CHAOS (10/10) #3: This song is so different compared to everything on Monstercat, and that makes it stand out (9.5/10) #2: I love the drums and guitar in the drop, those are the best parts to me (10/10) #1: I really, REALLY want Snareskin to come back, this song is amazing (10/10)
20. so disgusting and lifeless 1/10 19. lmao 2.5/10 18. kinda better than the last one 4/10 17. production is amateurish and vocals are ehhh. 4/10 16. I always didnt like ehiorobo vocals 3.5/10 15. just ok 5/10 14. overrated asf. nevve is good as well but bass..........not good 4.5/10 13. used to like this so much but it grew off me big time. still great 8/10 12. actually amazing for 2012 mc standarts 7/10 11. even if this didn't deserve that popularity it's still decent 6/10 10. i LOVE THIS. love how hectic drops are, sound design, vocal chops, off drops, everything about this *10/10* 9. could be a bit interesting tbh 6/10 8. wow 8/10 7. uh. yeah. *10/10* 6. my the most replayble dnb song of the year. its just addictive *10/10* 5. i miss some unique dnb like this 9/10 4. craaazy shiiiit 9.5/10 3. such a beautiful song 9/10 2. i was amazed when first listened to this 9.25/10 1. LOVE off-drops. fb stuff is also cool 8.5/10
20 - I always didnt think it was the worst, I love that vocal effect in the drop 19 - Dated dubstep is dated. Its fine 18 - Dated dubstep is dated, this time with breakbeat 17 - One of the single worst songs that has been signed. So ungodly boring 16 - I love Ehiorobos vocals and the whole beat of the song but the chorus does set me off a bit. Still think RnB can be over hated on the label 15 - Beautiful song, such an amazing vocal performance with somber sadness. 14 - Live edit is 100x better 13 - Goes fucking HARD I wish Effin could release more on the label cause even his off label stuff is fantastic. If he made a lot of half time on monstercat I think personally it would be a perfect fit. 12 - I am still wanting more... 11 - Its fine, hes made much worse. 10 - Bop 9 - I never liked this and still dont 8 - One of the best solo songs ever on the label. I wish he would come back and drop heavy shit like this every so often cause this just hits different 7 - I never understood the hype and I feel like I'm the only person who just doesnt think this song is amazing 6 - Perfect song to use during a escape from the police 5 - Its pretty good, Veela great 4 - Unique and goes off real hard 3 - Yeah, its really good 2 - How did he only release once on the label and not come back? 1 - Yeah probably the best one off
20. i don't know what to say for this one 19. old mcat dubstep 18. old mcat dubstep 2: electric boogaloo 17. i feel nothing 16. this type of music isn't for me 15. i love the vibes of this song, even if the lyrics don't make sense sometimes 14. this is a song alright 13. great debut single, even if he wasn't a one-off 12. ironic considering subformat didn't release more on the label 11. this is one of his better songs. it's a 5/10. marshmello isn't very good idk what you want me to say 10. eh 9. good 8. very experimental, even if i'm not gonna return to it 7. grew off me, but still decent 6. ehhhhhhhh 5. i remember when this song came out 4. i like the xan griffin remix better 3. decent 2. decent 1. eh
“As a man I don’t like showing emotions” dude can you not, we as a society are trying to normalize men showing emotion and you’re really not helping with that. you’re just reinforcing stale narratives of toxic masculinity. you’re not funny, stop
Who hurt you? Also wasn’t trying to be funny just stating how I feel, which I guess isn’t ok to do in your mind. Lol I’m used to being criticized for my opinions on music never expected to be attacked for something like this but I guess that’s the internet for ya; no matter what you say you’ll always find a way to piss someone off.
@@DCRanks “As a man I don’t like showing emotions” is a horrible phrase for exactly what Cloudcage has said. I'm not sure why you are so traditionalist, this response is appalling.
