I subscribed to you guys about 3 years ago when VCG Construction had barely subscribers at all. I'm not even into construction at all I just thought this channel was funny for some reason so I subbed Idk how I even found out about this channel. Now fast forward 3 years later you guys are at 342k and its insane to see the growth of a small little channel that barely anyone in the world knew about. Wish you guys nothing but the best!!

Years back before Dremel or anyone has an oscillating tool, Fien was out, we used to ( and still do sometimes) call these "Fein tools" and not multi tools or oscillating tools. This was a Fein, like a recip. saw is a Sawzall. We bought in on a payment plan off an infomercial in the 90s.

I remember the infomercials, thought it was a cool new tool, but never bought one until I needed to do come baseboard/door casing work. I bought the Dremel... that was a mistake. Now I'm looking at a replacement, and even though I'm an 18v/20V Max/12V Max Dewalt guy, I'm heavily leaning towards the M12 Fuel tool. The one pro I give the Dremel, is its size. The M12 fuel with the smaller battery seems to be the same size, maybe smaller. I kinda wish Dewalt had a similar oscillating tool in their 12v max line-up, since I'm already in that line.

I used to be a DeWalt guy. Then I bought a Makita circular saw, then a Makita router (Made in Japan!!!), then an used 20 year old Makita belt sander that runs and performs better than most new belt sanders! The battery on my DeWalt drill is no good now. Normally I would just replace the battery, but I can't pass up the opportunity to use that as an excuse to get a Makita drill!

Bosch AND fein invented Starlock. It was a Coop between them. Hope this gets read. @@dumdiversaspapalbull1452 Bosch was the innovator and in some cases the creator of some power tools used now. I’m in their 18v line and while I’d admit that they don’t offer the selection of some other top tier brands(in the U.S.A), Europe actually has a wider selection, prices are high etc... they still have their place. Also people on these channels praise the starlock/ quick change style etc... and Bosch is the company that patented that. So in short they are still relevant, reliable, of good quality and I do see them making A resurgence if they can expand the 12 V line to offer as many tools as Milwaukee and Dewalt. They were the first with the rotary, palm router etc... people hate on Bosch for the wrong reasons.

Hi Nick, im a carpenter across the pond in the UK. Love your channel and the advice is spot on. However, the comparison on product to value for money would change this video all together because I have used everything from green Bosch right up to Panasonic and festool and I have found that the most rugged, long lasting and power to weight ratio tooling on the market is DeWalt. I have Festool equipment sitting in my workshop whilst my van is fully loaded with the DeWalt kit. What are your views on quality vs value?

I didn't have any experience with any of the Milkwakee, but I am sure it is a good option. I did think much of the Dewalt do to its construction and performance. Although I know a number of people that love it and use them all the time. The cheap stuff it just that, cheap stuff. If I where a home gamer. I would go with a corded model Bosch at around $200.00. There strong and for now future proof with parts, warrent, and blades.

The first year I owned one I used it only as a sander. I didn't even know it could do cuts. By the way, it is actually a great sander because it gets into corners which isn't something an orbital can do, and if you get the diamond coated sander then it lasts forever. However, its ability to do weird cuts is why a multi-tool is simply indispensable. Multi-tool has got to be one of the most useful tools invented.

It's not just better motors in the Milwaukee FUEL tools. These are the things that all Milwaukee FUEL tools have. All FUEL products feature three Milwaukee's exclusive innovations: the POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, REDLITHIUM Battery Packs, and the REDLINK PLUS Intelligence Hardware and Software. These three pillars are what make FUEL power tools deliver unmatched power, run-time, and durability on the jobsite

You should update this review. I'd like to hear what you think of the new Skil PwrCore 20. I just purchased Milwaukee M12 Fuel, but for the price of the kit (even after discounts) I'm rethinking of switching it to Skil 20V. Just can't find a good comparison of both.

I do believe that's quite true Bosch design is indeed one of the quickest and I know it's catching on because I've been to Lowe's about a day before and I saw something like the Starl lock system on a Dewalt 4.5 INCH angle grinder

That's what I said last night they were the original plus they are nice because they gave you like an 8 foot extension cord with the tool the only problem was there a Locking System after a while the top lock would get loose nice to see they went cordless

For a $100 we're talking not much difference in price might as well go with Milwaukee and you'll have something that's probably the best and it's going to last you a longtime. I have the Milwaukee M18 oscillator and I used and abused that tool daily probably one of the most used tools the size my screw gun and it still runs like brand new
