Ranking every pack in The Sims 4! 

I will never forgive Ea and The Sims for monetising the weather in a life simulation game 💀

it's discomforting how the good packs have the red icon and the "bad" packs have the green one. my brain cannot handle this confusion haha.

I have 4 packs and they were all in “need it”…. I have never felt prouder of my choices 😂

Get together has such great BB items. I love the columns and the wood tones. Everything is matching and it's beautiful for older houses. One of my favourite packs for sure.

I think get famous would have been loved by everyone if it was a game pack. I don’t think it quite gives enough content to validate an expansion, maybe if it included more careers like singer, model. And further developed celebrities with gossip and magazines etc.

I appreciate deli explaining what each pack has. With this many packs, I forget that resident keys are not base game. Thanks deli for the video

Deli, this is SUCH an useful type of video. And you are completely right, it has to be updated every once in a while. I currently have three friend who bought the base game in the last six months and they usually ask me for recommendations on which DLC to buy. This video is a great resource I can send them, so that they get a quick introduction to what comes with the DLC and how well you think it performs! Another video of yours I really love is the one where you did the community vote on the best packs and compared it to your own ranking. About the packs themselves, I am still in love with Cottage Living. I even started playing Stardew Valley because of it, that's how much into farming I've become. I don't know when the hype is going to end for me. 😂

I agree, Get Famous doesn't get enough appreciation, I LOVE this pack! I love the famous system, the video station and drones, the acting career, and I constantly use CAS&BB items from this pack! I can agree that the world is pretty small and disappointing but other than that, I think it's a great pack!

Is it just me who loves Spa Day? There's something satisfying about seeing your sim get pampered, it's like I can relax through them vicariously

I think people really underestimate Spa Day and I'll be so glad if it is the pack that's getting a refresh. Yoga, meditation and the spa baths are so useful for mood changes! PS. Where would you put dream home decorator?

I mostly agree with you on your ranks, except I'd put laundry lower just because it is so bugged! and cottage living is far and beyond my very favorite of all time in Sims!

Dine out works...I go to restaurants in game and it forks just fine. I had my own restaurant once, again it worked as it should...only weird thing was my waiter going outside but the waiters still did their job(they would go back in to do the job) What happened is it was very bugy but no one really tried to play it later...

Your Get Famous Let's Play was what got me hooked on your channel, Deli!! I also really loved that pack, I felt like there was a great balance between added gameplay and unique/staple build and buy items! I use the Get Famous mid-century modern furniture alllll the time!

Aww I loved paranormal stuff! Even if you aren’t into the actual paranormal elements of the game it comes with some amazing build and buy items and CAS items. It also came with a new career and lot type. I think you get bang for your buck with paranormal stuff

The first pack I got was seasons because everyone said it was essential, but it infuriates me because it's always raining and upsets my Sims

I unabashedly love Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure. I’ve spent hours playing with the vacation worlds and all the skills that came with them. Finding all the collectibles is such a welcome challenge in a game that’s pretty easy. That being said, I think that every world in the Sims 4 (except for Windenburg) can do with more lots.

tbh... just for me.... get to work added so much content than most packs which kinda make your simple base game more interesting... probably because of it's many perspective for you to try on... and then there's season which give the game that liveliness vibe... well.... any packs that gives more functionality to the everyday living of a sim are a good pack for me🤣

I really liked that you said what came with the pack, that makes it easier to imagine if I would buy the pack myself and understand why you might have ranked the pack that way.

I really disliked Discover University. After playing it through once, I haven't touched the world, gameplay or much of the build/buy objects.

People say there's not much in island living, but it was my only pack for several months, and I didn't get bored. It was also my first pack so it had a soft spot in my heart

Spa day is the first pack I ever bought and in my world is “need it.” I never go to the spa (although I love going to the Korean women’s spa in real life). I get a massage table at home and hire a therapist, and use the baths to get super long lasting moodlets!

Dine out is buggy but I still love it for some reason 😂

Having all the packs currently, I have to say each pack has its pros and cons. There is probably only one pack that I don't really use at all and that's My First Pet (purchased that one when it was on a massive sale). Most packs I use mainly for the Create-a-Sim and Build/Buy rather than actual gameplay. I do use the gameplay, especially when it's kind of like there (like holidays, eco lifestyle, etc), but I'm less likely to go out of my way to utilize each new gameplay feature on a regular basis. I know I'm not getting the full usages out of the packs, but I don't mind (especially since I rarely purchase the packs at full price). I would like to see more vacation worlds - World Adventures from Sims 3 was by far my favorite pack... I especially loved all of the artifacts and gemstones you could collect (my sims always tried to have every stone in every cut possible). They kind of added a condensed version of that with Jungle Adventures and I guess now with Journey to Batuu, but I would like to have seen more of that puzzle type gameplay (like with Jungle Adventure).

Omg I love island living! Sulani is my fav world because it’s just so gorgeous, though I get what you’re saying about gameplay being limited. I think it’s worth it alone for the world

I don't get why so many find Spa Day "meh". It was one of the first game packs I bought and I use the modern furniture that came with it a lot. I mean, it gave us countertops! Not to mention that when you get high up on the wellness skill (which is pretty easy) your sim can teleport! I just find it very useful as a quick way to get them somewhere. 😏

I've had certain packs for so long that I forgot some aspects of the game I thought were just in the base game came from packs! Like residence keys, groups, and more stuff like that

Can you make a video about what packs you think should be bundled?? Make bundles with at least one expansion on game pack and one stuff pack, but feel free to put up to 2 games packs and 3 stuff packs. Also don't forget to put the kits in bundles too.

The robotic skill in TS4:DU is the most underrated thing. There's so many things we can craft like drones, robot suits, tiny robots, and etc. Also did you forget DHD and Courtyard Kit?

I really like Spa day. I think I've taken my sims to the spa like once but I like the yoga and meditation items that can be done at home. City living is a good alternative if you want to get your sims to go on dates but don't like the bugs because there's the food carts that you can visit in the world and that's like a date.

Said it before, saying it again: I never saw the Star War series, but I still enjoyed the Batuu gameplay SO MUCH. Also love My First Pet Stuff.

Dine out is actually one of my favorites, I hope they fix the bugs.

Get Famous was the first pack I ever got because I watched your let's play and I love it 💕💕 Why is it so underrated??

university is objectively just okay but if you asked me when it came out i would've called it my favourite pack because it came out during my first year of university, and i was really excited that ubrite and foxbury were so similar to my uni and our rival (we're green and gold and have older buildings, rival is red and gold and is more modern) and it was just so fun to have my sims go to uni too (although my sims didn't have a mental breakdown and a pandemic)

A lot of my favorite packs are similar to yours . I love Seasons, Eco Lifestyle, Tiny living, City living, Cats and dogs too, BUT, I am an occult player and would need to have Vampires and Realm of Magic and Dream home decorator, which you missed in your list ;). Kits I would toss are Batuu, fitness, spa day and my first pet. Honorable mention to knifty knitting, laundry day, paranormal (which to me has been the BEST stuff pack ever) and Movie nite which I love the boho vibes from that one. The dust the bust kit, i am ok-ish with, but the dust after a while gets so annoying and what is with the robot vacuum breaking all the time, is this a glitch in the game? I upgraded it and all it does is break! Anyway, great video Deli, thanks for sharing, Kim

i've always been so disappointed with dine out because i LOVE the idea of it, but when I played it with my friend, our sims would meet for dinner at 6pm and not get their food until 1am, so they'd be home at 4am and still have to go to work. I think the next packs I'm going to get are cats & dogs and strangerville :)

i have actually been playing dine out lately and its had a bunch of updates!! definitely is playable now! super easy to go out to dinner (dont get me wrong, its still a little buggy but more like dream home decorator buggy where its tolerable)

My favorite pack is really the tiny house one. I love how it boosts my Sims, and it's fun to design outdoor living around it so that you can keep having tons of perks but still have a lavish house! :D I've starting recording my gameplays, though I am a no-commentary girl. It's a fun way for me to relax and share with others. So I've totally made a tiny house (and left that nasty appartment I had, yuck with the cockroaches already!)

I totally agree with it all besides the paranormal stuff pack. I would either put that in Need or love. There are so many good build and buy items and the game play was so cute!!!

I miss Sims 3: World Adventures. It was the only pack I ever had for Sims 3. I made it my Sim's goal to discover all six pyramids and it took me weeks to even get through one of them. There was so much to do and it was a real challenge. I loved it! I bought the camping pack from Sims 4 and hoped to get something like World Adventures, but I got bored really quickly, sadly.

Spa Day is really good cause of its build and buy options, thats mostly the reason why I get the stuff packs.

I’ve honestly forgotten about half of these! It’s so hard to play all the game plays and different worlds when there is so many options 😣

One of the recent-past updates changed the amount of time it takes a sim to eat, so maybe that change will improve Dine Out's performance a little. It wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I ever really noticed issues. Like the chef standing around and not running to the stove right away. Or if I made it through dinner, all would pop out of their seat at the same time before I could end the meal and pay the bill. I was able to click on the Chef and do a debug reset and he went to his stove, but the weird endings I can do nothing about. I enjoy this pack and it sucks to see it ranked so low, but I can sure understand why.

After the competition kept my chicken in cottage living, I refuse to do it again. Still play the pack since its one of my favorites but I wont loose another chicken to that crazy woman.

I love Island Living for their mermaids and because I use CCs I can get creative with them. Anything abnormal in the Sims game, I'm down for. Lol. I naturally went for the supernatural and paranormal stuff.
