Bro Red is the best protagonist. He has his own anime. Then Ash from the main anime is based off him. He is an absolute savage in the manga. He appears in more games than any other pokemon protagonist. He's drippy as hell. He has the coolest stick which is he is the strong silent type. Then finally he's motherfucking red. Get over it kid.

I’ve got an idea for a ranking video. Do ranking every rival in each series of the Pokémon anime from worst to best. The black and white series in particularly would be interesting to compare with Trip, Bianca, Stephan, Cameron, Georgia and Burgundy. Am I missing anyone from that particular series?

Red is so epic. Imagine playing HGSS, beating everyone in your region, going to another region, beating everyone there, climbing one of the highest mountains, then fight what can only be described as one of the strongest trainers you ever fight, just for him to only say “…”
Meanwhile me who read Pokemon adventures unable to process this because of complicated names Because Pokemon manga have simple names like red, gold, X, diamond, pearl ,Blake, black , Ruby, sapphire , platinum, white , Y , Whiteley, blue , green , yellow , silver , crystal, emerald, etc
Nate is my personal favorite protagonist, it’s like he’s left to deal with the aftermath of the original Protagonist’s story, although I think it would’ve been better if there was an extra battle against Hilbert in Memory Mode, or maybe challenge mode.
Imma try doing this but with their manga personalities, though I'm only up to gen 5 and have barely touched gen 6 6th place - Diamond, not really as cool as the others, though i am glad about what he did that one time, since his dynamic with one of the characters was getting annoying, he also has a huge trump card, but it really wasn't that special anymore after gen 3. 5th- Blanc, was just a placeholder until black showed up, though he had a unique background so points for him 4th- black, he's basically ash if he wasn't a 10 year old, oh and he constantly says his dreams 3rd- Ruby, only male character that isn't focus on fighting but can still throw hands, his trump card was basically a one time use reset button but it was still cool 2nd- Red, Og, can't really find any defining feature, he's like the white canvas of the group, but he does kick ass.. after he has his ass kicked 1st Gold, best character development in my opinion, used cue sticks as a launcher for pokeballs, hacked my favorite baby pokemon, and allowed krist to kick a god in the face, which is dope
