I’ve never been this early but it’s Shadowhunters and I love them.

Omg I loved this. I know people are allowed to dislike a series or author, but I honestly do feel like people who hate Cassandra Clare are missing out because there is SO MUCH GOODNESS to enjoy with the Shadowhunter Chronicles, ugh my heart. I love these books so much. My top 5 would be: 5. City of Fallen Angels / Clockwork Angel 4. Ghosts of the Shadowmarket 3. City of Heavenly Fire 2. Clockwork Prince 1. Clockwork Princess. I mean Clockwork Princess is one of my top 5 books of all time, no other series has ever been able to break my heart as much. I love every single character (even Jessamine), it's just so good 😭😭 How Cassie wrote something so perfect I'll never understand.

I read those in ninth grade, now I'm 22 and in my second year of uni. It's been so long... So yeah, it was a nice little trip down memory lane.

Here’s what i’ve read so far (in the order) •TMI 1, 2, & 3 •Red Scrolls of magic •TID 1, 2, & 3 •TMI 4 & 5 Next i’ll read: TMI #6, the Bane Chronicles, Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy, The lost book of the white, TDA 1, 2, & 3 Ghosts of the Shadow market, TLH 1 & 2 (when #2 is released in march) & the shadowhunter codex at some point

I seriously tried to rank my faves, i just can't, i love them all... My least favorites would be TDA and the Bane Chronicles My top five would be 1- City of Glass 2-City of Heavenly fire 3- City of Lost Souls 4 - Clockwork Princess 5- Clockwork Prince In no particular order because i have been changing the order of this for 15 minutes, and then found out i just love them all lol

I don't know if anyone has noticed but in every series( if you can call it that) there is one character that always dies. In infernal devices sure jem didn't died but he became a silent brother. On mortal instruments Jordan died and Simon didn't remember anything even if later on he became a shadowhunter and remember everything. In the dark artifices livvy died and then he came back as a ghost. So what i'm trying to say who is going to die in the last hours or who is the one that is going to suffer the most.

This is my third time trying to read this series!!! I just always get so distracted and forget about the book oops... This will be the year 💙🤞🏻

TDA has everything to he the best but the third book was like a fanfiction novel . TMI: city of glass is a masterpiece. Books 5 and 6 were amazing because the characters had a good development. TDA: A lot of feelings!!!! Its not the best trama for me but I really love the relationship between Jem, Will and Tessa.

I love the shadowhunters books because they're that book series where you can just pick one up and reread different parts and still enjoy them just as much as you did the first time. I don't tend to reread ANY parts of books, even my favs. But when I'm sad, sometimes I just pick up Clockwork Princess or Chain of Gold or Lady Midnight(I could go on XD) and read a random part. Always makes my day.

Edit: I got the top 6 mostly right! I guess I overestimated your love of city of heavenly fire and underestimated how much you liked chain of gold.

I love this so much! I cried through the top 5 because just hearing you talk about them brought back all the feels haha I love them all so much! My list is pretty similar, but I'd have to switch the top two. TID is my favorite trilogy ever! You're the whole reason I read them :) I remember watching your videos over a decade ago and had to pick up City of Bones. Best decision ever! You really got me back into reading and for that I'll always be greatful!
