I'm old school Epcot and love the un-Disney parts of it. I love the Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, and the Mexico river ride more than any of the other big ticket rides in the park. They are what I want from Epcot-- a bit of chill and a bit of learning. Used to love Maelstrom for the same reason, and then they ruined it by turning it into a movie ride instead of a river ride showing the sights of Norway.

OK, I love these videos, but the premise has the same issue as the last one. You are not RANKING these attractions, you are RATING them. A ranking would be deciding which Epcot ride is best, which is worst, and where the others fall in between. Rating is giving a standalone score to each one on its own value, irrespective of its relation to other rides. As I imagine you'll continue with this series, please consider that this video does not contain a ranking of anything.

An overriding theme to these DFB vids is that any ride with any intensity is INTENSE. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think these folks need to go to a 6 Flags to remember what actual intensity is. I love DFB btw!

We are two early-40s men and we took my 66- year old mother (and 63-year-old aunt) on Guardians and she LOVED it! She tells all her friends that she felt like it was a Tilt-a-Whirl on a coaster track. My aunt even got on Expedition Everest too and she loved it (she made sure my mother skipped that one though! You just have to know what you like!)

I think it would be super helpful to actually rank the rides in order! People can fast forward to the top 3 and know which ones to prioritize!

Epcot has so many fun rides! My favorite is Soarin’!!!!

Single rider line for test track is the best. Of all the single rider lines this one is always much shorter than the regular line. For example with rock n rollercoaster the single rider can still be a decently long wait

Mission Space Orange is my very favorite ride in all of Disney! It's the only ride that is truly like going into space. How can you not love that! It should be rated 10/10.

JUSTICE FOR MISSION: SPACE! One of the best and most underrated rides at Disney world

My 5 year old has a deep and undying love for the Epcot ball - she calls it the bubble and has gone so far as to sleep with a stuffy of it. So we always have to ride spaceship earth, which gives me a chance to take a nap in the AC 🤣 She also knows about why it stops, so if you’re ever on it and you hear a little voice say, “someone is having trouble getting on or maybe bubble needs a break” it’s probably her 🤣

Love Epcot! It was definitely our favorite park from our trip in May.

Test Track is my favorite ride across all of the theme parks I've been to. I'm a wimp when it comes to drops on rollercoasters and flume rides. Test Track for me has all of the speed and thrills of a coaster minus the drops. My husband and I took turns getting in the single rider line and we basically walked straight on the ride each time. Our 2 year old hadn't experienced dark rides before our Epcot trip a couple months ago so he partially covered his eyes on the Nemo and Living with the Land rides during the dark portions of those, which is the entirety of Nemo and the beginning and end of Living with the Land. He absolutely loved the aquarium in the Seas pavilion though! And there was plenty of room for him to roam without us worrying about him bugging other people trying to get up to see the tanks.

We rode Mission Space during it's 'soft opening' period. I can tell you that it was a MUCH more extreme experience at that time! I'm a hardened coaster fan, but the 'hypersleep' section of the ride was seriously intense, such that I felt I was about to pass out. As we've visited year after year it has been watered down to where it is now, which is nowhere as intense, even on the orange side. Nowadays it's pretty gentle.

We went to Disney world last year with zero knowledge of anything! We are going again in October and I watch your videos everyday while getting ready for work. Thank you for all the awesome helpful videos

Great video AJ! Getting geared up for an Epcot day in Oct so I think I'll probably need the genie plus for that day. Also the guy in soarin played putty on Seinfeld and that's all I think of, that and the amazing soundtrack!

Spaceship Earth is one of the best rides at Epcot. My all time favorite is Soarin. Frozen is also amazing and cute and another one of my favorites. Great video.I love the love boat comment. I used to love that show.

Back when Mission Space came out, you pretty much just went on the full ride experience. I’ll never forget the first time I rode it, just after it opened. As we exited, people were sitting in benches, the carpet, and outside on the ground everywhere. I sympathized, but it was funny. All those people excited to get on the ride, unfortunately, couldn’t see the green post-riders. Lol

I LOVE Epcot!!! France might be my favorite simply due to the food but to each their own. Next time I go I am doing two full days of Epcot! Cannot wait!!!

Epcot is my favorite park at Disney and I have so many good memories. I do wanna mention the story of when I took my fiancee to Disney for the first time and she wanted to ride Living With the Land. She loved this ride because she's a big cottagecore nerd, though we did have a duo of squirmy kiddos in front of us, one of which tried to exit the ride early and promptly took a spill. Luckily we were ALMOST at the exit (literally the next boat to disembark) so she wasn't hurt but it was pretty hard not to laugh.

I remember riding soarin about 12 years ago and it was probably my favorite ride from that trip. I recently went back not too long ago and while it was still great… we had just ridden the flight of passage in animal kingdom the day before and wow. That ride was like another level to it. I couldn’t help but compare them when I was riding them!

I went on Soarin a few weeks ago at DCA and not only did I get B2, but B1 wasn’t functioning so there were no feet above our heads. Best view of the ride to say the least.

Mission Space was the first ride my husband and I rode on our honeymoon in DW. We rode the orange mission and I LOVED it. It’s also how I learned that my new husband suffers from motion sickness. 😬

Nausea bands work well on Guardians of the Galaxy. You will not feel any motion sickness at all. I wear them on both wrists all day for all rides. No sickness on any ride. No pills to take and no drowsiness. Just the bands - can find them at Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart. Totally worth the investment and can be reused.

I hadn't been on the Mexico ride since before they revamped it and then I rode on it and had no idea what I'd be getting and I absolutely loved it! I remembered it from when I was a kid and always thought it was lame

My Epcot fantasy: Riding Soarin' while it's playing The Who's "I Can See For Miles", which actually mentions some of the things you see on the ride!

Only time I ever felt close to motion sickness in the USN on submarines was in the Straight of Juan de Fuca in a really high sea state. But I experienced that out in the Pacific in a force 4 typhoon and didn't seasick then so I think it was more that it amplified sickness I already felt. lol

I hate “thrill rides” but Mission Space Orange is ah-maz-ing!!! It helps a lot that they have a 2 minute “training” before the ride that tells you how to best avoid motion sickness. Having said all that, I was very grateful for the long benches after the ride. We DID have to sit down for a few minutes after.

It has been 16 years since we have gone to Disney, nice to see some new changes & some of the old standby's, bringing our littles for the first time, they are going to have a lot of fun! And all that walking ought to tire them out! LOL

Frozen was the number 1 must do for our 6 and 9 year old granddaughters. We made it the first ride of the day (we did not rope drop, but we’re there within the first hour) and we only waited 20 minutes! It is a short ride for a LONG wait (anything over 45 minutes). We thought the same thing about Remmy…we waited over 60 min and it seemed short for that much of a wait.

quick question about getting into international gateway at early morning (staying on Disney property...just not Yacht or Beach Club...staying at Gran Destino). Can we get Lyft service to Beach Club and walk through? The reason I ask is my daughter-in-law will be 7.5 months pregnant and we wanted to ride Remy first, if we could.

We are going to Disneyworld with my mother and two kids in January for the last time (she is old and health not too good). She will be in a wheelchair, has trouble breathing due to COPD and asthma and does not get on very many rides so I wanted to make this last trip more of an activities trip so she can spend time and make memories with the grandkids. My question is, what are some great things to do with Grandma that doesn’t require getting on rides? What are some great shows to see? Any advice?

I am so happy we did not wait the 90 minute wait for Frozen when we went. We continued on with our day and came back to it just as the fireworks were starting.. it was only a 15 minute wait and my 6 month old at the time loved it.. never road it before so I was unaware of the drop but she didn't seem to mind just more like what is going on face lol *Firework show is worth ending the night with* I've just been lucky enough to see it before 6 years ago so chose to opt for a short ride line instead

When I was a child, my dad took me on mission space and I had a massive panic attack during it. Next time I go back (haven't been in years) I'm going to try it again and see if it still terrifies me in my late 20s lol.

We’re looking forward to our first trip to WDW in a year & a half or so. We’re DL folks so thankfully can skip Soarin’ and it’s crazy bendiness, though it’s one of my faves. No emotional attachment to Figment, ah well. Srsly cannot wait to ride Guardians, also looking forward to Ratatouille and Test Track, but for Epcot mostly looking forward to food, shops & entertainment/experiences :)

Ok, DFB, we seriously need to have a heart-to-heart about your rating system. First off, ranking rides on a scale of 5-10 is just bizarre (nothing is ever ranked lower than a 5). Secondly, ride preferences are very subjective with different riders placing value on different features. By filtering experiences down to a single number, you are not fairly representing different perspectives. This is how you end up ranking Living with the Land higher than Mission Space (not to mention the People Movers higher than Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion over in MK). I strongly recommend using a 5-point scale for several individual characteristics, such as thrills, artistry, kid friendliness, and nostalgia. This way viewers can be better informed of which rides will best align with their party.

If I was Eric Idle, and saw my moon face image, I would plead to have it immediately taken down! I have loved Eric Idle (and the rest of the Monty Python cast for years! ) If I were him, I wouldn’t want that to be the image for generations to see! Terrifying!

When I was a child I was ENTHRALLED by Living with the Land. I used to only watch animal and cooking shows on TV so it was just what I enjoyed. But I recognize I’m probably in the minority there. 🤣

We are staying at All Star Movies in November and want to do Remy's for early entry. How would you recommend getting to the International Gateway from All Star Movies? We won't have a car, and I haven't been to the parks in 12 years so I won't know how to get there haha!! Any help would be amazing

i remember that when i went to disney when i was 6 years old we went to the mission space attraction and my brother and i were very excited but when we got in line you would think that a mother would take her children for the less intense version but not my mom took his 6 year old son who could be dropped by a fly to the trip to mars (I still resent my mom for that)

I had a banana before riding Mission Space but I felt so sick.... I had to be squeezed... yes those barf bags... But that was a fav of mine it was just like NASA!! Another one that made me really dizzy was the one in Hollywood Studios, the dark rock music.

How is galaxy rewind for people with motion sickness? I heard the cars rotate during the ride? I can do rock n roller coaster but i can only do Everest twice before i get a little nauseous

For guardians if you love more thrills sit more back since it has more thwip and more to the front for it to be a bit less crazy

Hey AJ. Can you rank them from worst to best and giving each one a separate number? Like Figment - 6, Test Track - 7, Gran Fiesta - 8, Frozen 8.5, Remy’s 8.75, Spaceship Earth - 9, etc… the chronological order gives us a way to skip through ones in the video that might be ranked 7 or less and allows us to focus on the ones worth riding. While also having individual numbers gives us an idea of which one you would prefer to go on if you could only choose one.

Only three rides in all of Epcot appeal but can be completely optional as well. I will most probably want to spend the majority of my time at world showcase, eating, drinking and shopping!!

Which country ride was it back about 20 years ago that had the ride where you would go up up up and then it would taper off and then it would go down a little and then it would go up up again and the last thing it did was go backwards real fast down the slide ride. What ride was that???

When our parents needed us to get to sleep in EPCOT when we were young, they would take us on Living with the Land. We would be knocked out before half the way through

Gran Fiesta Tour is amazing if only because I get to smell the amazing smell of Mexican food at the San Angel Restaurant.
