Thank you all for OVER 100K views!!! This is BY FAR the best any video has ever done on my channel, I really appreciate the love and support! Let me know what videos you wanna see in the future in this thread 👇
As a Great America regular, all comments check out correctly. Raging Bull is my clear favorite though. It’s a super long ride with tons of fun with a line that actually moves fairly quickly. Love the experience
Lol it is most certainly not “super long”, hahaha. That park doesn’t have any long coasters, besides murican eagle. They penny pinch, big time. That’s one of the biggest complaints about it
@@coasterswithmattI dunno about “awesome”. Of course, the first drop in the very back row is pretty universally considered a top 5 steel coaster first drop, but after that, RB is pretty widely regarded as the worst BnM hyper alongside Silver Star & Intrimidator
@@marcbasil I don’t think raging bull is the best hyper ever, but it’s also no where near the worst. Appolo’s Chariot is by far the weakest, and I got pretty weak rides on Nitro too. Intimidator at Carowinds was actually a really good ride too despite what people have to say about it.
@@coasterswithmatt RB is almost universally regarded as one of the worst hypers ever made. It’s typically mentioned as such, alongside Intrimidator & Silver Star lol. It was such a faceplant that they never revisited the hyper twister model ever again. After the first drop, it literally just meanders around, and any potential airtime moments are slaughtered by the infamous three trims
It’s awesome to see another Six Flags park ranking! You did a phenomenal job and I appreciate anyone willing to make a long analysis of each park. I would definitely put Great America and Over Texas higher, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that you did a great job here.
Thank you so much! I definitely think that these rankings could all easily change with new visits because it all comes down to how the park is running when you go. Thanks for commenting!
In my opinion, Great America deserves to be in the top three. In addition to having a great lineup of really thrilling rides, there's plenty for the whole family to do. My four-year-old can get on over 30 rides in the park including five roller coasters. That is really saying something.
That’s awesome that there is so much to do for your kid! I will say the list is 90% based off of the thrill coasters so that is why parks with maybe less for the kids but more/better coasters are ranked higher
How is it top 3? Fiesta Texas is obviously the best 6F park. After that, great adventure & magic mountain. Great Americas lineup is way overrated. They have a big collection, but they’re all mostly prototype models & extremely short coasters. It’s also probably the WORST of the major 6F parks for airtime, especially for ejector airtime. You can literally count the ejector moments at that entire park on one hand: three (?) moments in Goliath (probably the worst RMC), the first drop on RB (but ONLY in the back row), and the first drop on Demon (but only in the third to last row). How pathetic is that for a park with such a massive lineup, LOL. There’s a reason why thoosies dump that park so frequently.
This is a great ranking video, I love how detailed your analysis is. I’ve only been to two Six Flags parks, Magic Mountain and America, but I hope to get out to the Texas ones next. I never realized how crazy MM’s lineup was until I started going to other parks, it’s STACKED!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I try to be detailed so people can understand what I am talking about even when they haven’t been to the parks. Magic Mountain is seriously STACKED, definitely deserving of the #1 spot.
Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America is my favorite ride. It is also basically the same ride as Goliath in Magic Mountain. The only noticeable difference between the two sequence wise are the first drops after the initial climb. Raging Bull has a very tiny drop right after the first climb.
@marcbasil you are completely out of touch. B&M designed their own track, which is 100% different than the Giovanola track. There are no similarities between the two. The Titan you are talking about is not the one he is talking about. He's talking bout Titan at SFOG, not that pile of junk at SFOT. Titan at SFOT doesn't even have any airtime, save for a split second of floater on the bunny hill. Titan at SFOG is packed full of airtime.
@@marcbasil ummmm B&M made their hyper model before Giavanola ever made a rollercoaster, which they only made two, Goliath and Titan. Goliath and Titan have super shallow drops, and only one single airtime hill each, so they are nothing like B&M hypers lol.
I’m a bit biased for St. Louis, my hometown park and current workplace. I fully agree that St. Louis could 100% be a mid-to-high-tier park with a few new good additions. Fortunately for us, it seems corporate took notice, and a lot of love is going into the park right now. We’re getting our first brand new ground up coaster since American Thunder in 2008 (awesome addition despite just being a Vekoma family coaster), lots of renovations of obviously aging buildings and infrastructure, and general improvements in the in-park experience, new paint, landscaping, etc. We’re all hoping and praying for RMC Boss, I personally believe it would make SFSL a must visit destination.
I went to Six Flags New England on opening day this year, and all the coasters that were open were running fast! Not only were they running fast, but not or the trims or midcourse brakes were on! I got ejector air on the Pandemonium clone! Superman ran so fast and gave such good air, the person next me thought they broke thier ass on it! Hope they run this good the rest of the season!
Great Adventure is my home park, figured I’d add a bit to your opinions! I completely agree with nearly everything said; however, Nitro, when it’s running fast, is insane. The helix makes most people who aren’t “coaster people” grey out. I even had one the other week, and Intimidator 305 did nada to me. Green Lantern deserves its hate; I usually avoid it whenever I go. It’s one of the better stand-ups, but it’s just a model I don’t enjoy. I thought up until recently that Jersey Devil was pretty lackluster compared to the original Raptors (I haven’t made it to Magic Mountain yet) until I was blessed with a front row ride last week. Blown away by how wild and forceful it was, I recommend it. Skull Mountain used to be a well-themed, fun ride when the building was dark, and they had effects. There haven’t been the eerie noises on the lift, the jack-o-lanterns, the strobes, the blacklit tiki faces, or the giant skull with red eyes for years. I don’t know how they haven’t fixed any; probably not a priority but the rides basically nothing at the moment. Also, I believe Premier Rides made Runaway Mountain, and Intamin made Skull Mountain. Both opened the same year and have similar themes but differ in many ways. The Dark Knight used to have an excellent pre-show video and way more working theming and sounds on the actual ride, but it is still in far better condition than the Skull Mountain effects. I miss that train to the right at the final brake run, though. P.S. El Toro is smoother and faster than ever. The beast is back, haha Great Video; somehow, the first of yours, I’ve been recommenced. I loved the insight and opinions on every park! Still have yet to make it to all of them, currently focusing on Cedar Fair and Sea World parks.
thank you so much for giving tatsu love! she's my #1 coaster and I feel like she's often overlooked for more intense rides 💖 your list was super fair and I totally agree with your top three!
I personally love Six Flags Fiesta Texas but I live in San Antonio so it's close to home. Thanks so much for the rankings and your impressions because i am a thrill ride junkie and now this makes me want to see what the other parks have to offer
This is the best ranking of six flags parks I’ve seen. I’ve been to the top two parks and love both of them and agree that Magic Mountain is overall the better park. Another reason is setting and weather. I feel Valencia has better weather, terrain, trees, theming, etc. Thanks for the video!
Nice video….my biggest problem with your rankings though is that it’s all based on the coasters….flat rides, water rides, theming, food, operations, dark rides, etc should all be factored in to the overall quality of a park….which is why my top 3 are different from yours.
Theming and operations are factored in for sure, when it comes to flat rides, water rides, and dark rides, once you’ve ridden one you’ve ridden them all at Six Flags so I don’t care for them. And most of the Six Flags parks have all the same food. So that is why I focus more on the coasters in the video! But I did bring up theming and operations, especially at the parks that had it either really good or really bad.
Pretty informative. Would really like to check out Six Flags NE. In addition, lived out in SoCal for 8 years and never made Magic Mountain. Currently in Texas. Just spent two days at Over Texas. And next month, headed back to Fiesta Texas and Sea World. Good video! 👍🏼👍🏼
New England is a great little park. That’s crazy you never checked out Magic Mountain, you definitely gotta come back and go! Glad you got to hit Over Texas and are going to SeaWorld and Fiesta, I hope you have fun! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@coasterswithmatt I always go to NE, I really think you would like Superman, it’s not for me cause I’m not a big rollercoaster person. Although it as no upside downs, it has a great drop and start off. I blacked out 💀 Because my fear of heights is awful Edit: didn’t watch the whole vid, but Superman is awesome. I definitely suggest Cyclone, it may not be a rollercoaster but it is really great!
I've only ever been so Discovery Kingdom so I came here to see where you ranked it and I'm so happy that someone agrees with me about Kong. Everyone I've ever talked to loves Kong despite how painful and rough it is but I hate it.
@@coasterswithmatt it's so bad, that you literally have to "learn" how to ride it in order to have fun. It's a terrible ride, but pushing your head back in a certain way makes it a bit more bearable.
@@coasterswithmatt Fair point lol. It's my local park, and it's only only coaster I straight up refuse to ride. I will ride the kiddie coasters before that one.
I haven't been to Six Flags Over Georgia in almost a decade. But if he'd visited the park when the first Cyclone was there, this would probably be way lower on the list. That was one of my favorites as a kid, but as an adult it felt really, really rough. I dont know if it was due to wear and tear, or I just had more body to get tossed around. And if he thought Blue Hawk was rough, don't even get me started on the neck-snapping concussion machine preceding it that was Ninja, where you just heard everybody around you screaming "OW" and "OOF" the entire ride. Most days, you would see the Scream Machine queue line filled up while the poor Ninja nearby was almost always empty. The only reason I would ever reride it was when I was bored and either didn't feel like waiting in line for Superman or Goliath or risk kicking somebody's head off on Batman. And the ride was always a totally miserable experience. You spent the entire climb up bracing yourself, not for speed, excitement, G-force, or airtime, but for the pain that was about to ensue. Your head was like a pinball, your body being repeatedly slammed into the restraints. I still wish I could ride it one more time, though. Its awfulness is what made it special, lol.
Too bad that Twisted Cyclone lost the only thing Georgia Cyclone had going for it, that being the length. I really don't understand how Ninja had to wait that long to get fixed. One thing I would say is that a night ride over water makes it a much cooler experience
Tatsu is my favorite coaster ever. Better than any RMC. When I was younger, my dad rode it and he was complaining about how terrible and unsafe it felt, so I wasn't expecting much, but it blew me away and is my favorite ride. X2 is great, and a solid #2 pick, but only if both the audio and fire are working. It's less than 50 seconds after the chain lift and unless the music and fire are on, I feel cheated waiting for 2 hours to get on. Twisted Colossus is better than X2 if only 1 or neither effects are working. Also, Roar at SFA is not bad if you ride in the middle. The front is boring and the back is rough, but the middle is fun.
Good to know about Roar, and I can agree that it sucks when the effects on X2 aren’t working, but for me they are just bonus. I mainly ride it for the insane drop and intensity. Tatsu is a great ride for sure though and I can respect you having it as your #1!
I’m a person who hates rollercoasters and is not a thrill seeker is any way. I’ve only been forced into going to six flags once, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the single park I’ve been to, magic mountain, was the one you ranked #1! I somehow survived X2 when I went there and colossus and tatsu were definitely my favorites, I never believed I could enjoy rollercoasters that intense until I went on those rides. I hated viper, way too rough and not enjoyable at all, really freaked me out as it was the second coaster I went on that day 😭 by the time I went on tatsu, x2, and twisted collosus I was desensitized I think lol and they were a lot more enjoyable. Nice video!
I've only ever been to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom! Sadly, it's no longer a Six Flags park! I definitely wanna check out these parks though thanks to your video!
I really like some of the flat rides at Great Escape which I wish you had mentioned. They have a really fast indoor scrambler, the new extremely thrilling adirondack outlaw ride, a nice double drop tower, and a few other great supporting rides
I did mention that they had a good collection of flats, but many of them were closed when I went so I couldn’t review them. Plus I didn’t ride flats at most of these parks because I was tight on time so that’s why I did it the way I did.
The reason why Great Escape is so unique is that it was originally built in the 1950s as Storytown USA. If you look at 1:42 of the video, you can see the sign in the foreground reads, "Storytown Train Station" and is a callback to the Great Escape's history. When it was opened it was themed after mostly Mother Goose nursery rhymes. This is why the park has the big shoe, and the little houses for kids to go in and out of, and even an Alice in Wonderland walkthrough attraction. Totally understand why a coaster enthusiast would rate it in last place, but from a family perspective this place should be close to the top.
That is very interesting! I wish the park was better taken care of so those things could shine more! The park has charm, but like many six flags parks it is also kind of a dump.
@@coasterswithmatt Totally agree with that assessment. I'm lucky I live basically halfway between Great Escape and New England so when the kids are little you go to Great Escape when they're older, New England!
They just did a major retracking on Predator, so that is why it wasn't so rough when you rode it. Motocoaster surprised the hell out of us when we rode it the first time. The launch is shockingly powerful. I was expecting a gentle family coaster launch but it is quite intense.
Just subscribed. Love the detail. I have a soft spot for SFA but it definitely is a super temperamental park. You got it on a good day, I've been a bunch but if my last visit was my only stop at the park I would have hated it. 5 coasters were down including Batwing which broke down on me twice while I was on the train waiting to leave the station
Thanks for the sub! Honestly most Six Flags Parks are like that, I have seen Magic Mountain on days where over half the rides are closed which sucks. It seems like they just don’t care as much as Cedar Fair and SeaWorld. But luckily I did have pretty good experiences at most of the parks!
From what I've been to, I would say: 1) Great Adventure 2) Fiesta Texas 3) Over Texas 4) New England 5) America Hoping to get to Great America and Over Georgia this year
While it hurts my soul to see my local park rank second to last, I can’t exactly argue with what you said lollll. It’s a fun place, but it’s not big on the thrill seeker type of thing lol. The biggest problem most locals have is that when Six Flags bought the park, they raised the prices without changing or improving anything. This isn’t exactly the wealthiest part of the country, so the price boost brought tickets out of the budget for a lot of locals. If they fixed up the place or added new things then I might consider it, but not as it is now.
For SFOG, they are debuting a launch coaster called the Georgia Surfer for 2024. It's an Intamin Ultra Surf coaster that combines both the Mack Power Splash and Intamin Half Pipe, which was revealed at their Coaster Fest presentation back in August. The water effects is the main highlight of the attraction in which the park can customize however they like it
At over Georgia, the ride staff on twisted cyclone yelled at me and my sister for their mistake, very rude. But, I still really like this park and I really enjoyed my day there
I really want to get out to fiesta texas! It’s ride lineup has gotten crazy over the years especially with the addition with a dive coaster which rounds it out and gives it another unique ride. And a floorless and two rmcs? Can’t go wrong right?
Over Texas is easily one of the best six flags parks. “Doesn’t have that one unique coaster.” Because it has one of the best overall lineups. Any ride you want is there. Didn’t hate on the list until that
It’s not a bad park, my point was the others are simply better. I actually really enjoyed over Texas! But it can’t compete with parks like Great Adventure and Magic Mountain
another amazing video bro. As much as i love the golden days with that $2 mic, the quality now is definitely appreciated! Also loved the extended explanations and the fact that we finally agreed on something for once lol 💀
As a discovery kingdom goer Medusa is one of my favorites but of course I haven’t left the state so I can’t exactly talk even though I wish I could, but I have gone to every park in the state
The number 1 Six Flag Park is DEFINITELY Magic Mountain 💯 Great America, Great Adventures, and Fiesta Texas make up the rest of the top 4. What order you olace them in is personal preference at that point.
Of all the Six Flags parks I've been, my favorite is Six Flags Magic Mountain, followed by Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags New England, Six Flags America, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The reason why Fiesta Texas was at the back of my ist wasn't the parks fault but mainly because my visit was a disappointment as I went during March of 2013 meaning Iron Rattler wasn't open yet, the waterpark was closed, and the wait lines were way too long. I hope to get back there soon and have a much better experience one day.
Enjoyed the video. I'm kinda new to this and just visited Over Georgia for the first time. Goliath...not my favorite, shakier then others I've ridden like Mako or Shambala but Superman, that was great, best ride in the park for me, barely beat out Monster Mansion ;) Probably wind up a America next.
@@coasterswithmatt yep, that’s what they tend to do now. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen something opened without replacing another ride. There’s just no more room 😂
Having only been to Over Georgia (it being my home park) and Over Texas (though that was 30 years ago), I was glad to see Georgia where it was on the list. Surprised you weren't crazy about the Cyclone, as that's one of my favorites. Still, I agree about the Scorcher: it's good but not remarkable. Goliath definitely sits in my top three, along with Cyclone and Superman/Batman (yeah, that makes it top four technically, but still). I feel like it could use a new coaster (maybe some sort of indoor, Green Lantern-themed coaster ala Guardians of the Galaxy at Epcot?), but I still love what's there. Glad to see how Kid Flash does, as I've got little one that are just too short to ride the big boys. Great video!
i totally agree with number one! I have been to Magic mountain so many times that I cant even count it! This park is very intense and has so many amazing rides. I would say all of their rollercoasters have a thrill to it. A really underated ride here is Crazanity. It is an amazing ride that swings back and forth at high intensity speeds till you are almost upside down. Me and my friends all get terrified on this but always one of our favorites' when we go.
Yeah Crazanity is awesome! I just didn’t talk about it because I didn’t ride many non-coasters at other parks so I didn’t think it would be fair to compare
Nice to see Frontier city shuttle loop..finally relocated from great adventure lighting loops after the tragic accident..frontier city got the other track not in the incident
Great adventure ahh..the memories. Used to live an hour away from it in NJ. Some im pretty biased when it comes to any other park, not just six flags lol. I mean how can you beat Nitro?! That will always be my #1 ever.
joker’s layout fits the DC villain so well, if this doesnt fit joker’s personality, i dont know what will. super unique and it also has multi-colored rails. i love joker.
On the road runner's express at fiesta texas, as of like 3 years ago there was a massive cartoon boulder they had dangling over the track with Wylie cyote I think after it rises up from the first big drop and interacts with the cliffside on a turn. It always looked like it was just about to fall on top of you as it passed the elements like that are what elevated that ride and most of them at fiesta texas for me. Edit: the roadrunner's express was the coaster for me when I was a kid made me not afraid of roller coasters anymore Even the shows were awesome too if you ever get to see them like the fireworks and laser light shows they have them on the cliffsides and using the waterfalls for it too and such
SFOG is my home SF park and they have a solid collection of roller coasters. They're getting ready to open their world's first ultra surf coaster as their 2024 edition and also a dueling single rail coaster this year. It's considered one of SF's favorite parks in the chain and has been giving the park a lot of love with these investments
I was kinda surprised by the rating of twisted cyclone at over Georgia. It’s short but intense, though I probably wouldn’t wait more than about 30 minutes for it and being so close to the front of the park it can have a long line. Wouldn’t call it my favorite though. I’d put Superman ultimate flight at the top, Goliath at 2nd, Batman at 3rd & dare devil dive at 4th which I didn’t even see you mention. The rest are pretty on par with each other
To me Twisted Cyclone is fun but it could have been so much more, still a great ride though! Also, I briefly mentioned Dare Devil Dive, but didn’t go too in depth on it because I only had time to go in depth on a few rides per each park.
I've been to both Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Fiesta and I prefer Over Texas personally. Like you said it comes down to personal opinion, but for me I don't like upside down coasters so all the coasters with multiple loops and corkscrews aren't ride able so that doesn't leave many options for me at Fiesta. I do agree that Fiesta is prettier with the rock quarry, but ride wise it's worse for me.
shocked at over texas placement . that park roller coaster line up is just mind blowing mainly bc all there coasters are GOOD . other then parks like magic mountain and great adventure that has a lot of coasters but some of them are hugely forgettable.Over texas theming and overall experience is better then most six flags park. Def a top 5 for sure
Over Texas has a lot of rides, but I will say none of them are particularly elite, compared to parks like Magic Mountain that have X2 and Twisted Colossus, or Great Adventure with El Toro and King Da Ka. That's why Over Texas ranks quite low for me. Still an awesome park though!
I was pleasantly surprised with New England being in the top 5, it’s my local park so I’m bias but other coasters in the other parks look so much cooler then new englands
I love amusement parks but im still getting over my fear so i like wix flags new england it has some very good coasters that slowly build up so for me it is in my top 2
The Flash at Discovery Kingdom has literally been closed for a few years now. I'm really hoping I can get on it soon because I haven't been able to my last two visits. 3 visits ago however, it was running and my stupid self decided not to ride it because I assumed it would be open next time.
The Batman at 6 Flags Illinois was the original Batman and I think it's too 3! Bro I gotta say this park is numero uno!! The theme is old school, Looney Tunes and that's classic. How about the Giant Drop?? Great video tho.
Darien Lake is my home six flags park, and let me tell you, the moto coaster has me in physical pain after I ride it bc of these weird behind-the-back restraints that pin you to the front of the seat.
I have to agree with your opinion about six flags discovery kingdom. Luckily, the flash ride was open, and it actually broke down while I was in the seat so that was interesting. But other than that, I was able to ride all the coasters there! My favorite would probably have to be Medusa because it is the longest ride there topping off at about 3 minutes. It isn't the best six flags out there, but it is still good. I went on Kong a few years ago and it wasn't the best. It hurt a lot. That is probably the reason why it has been shut down for a while now. Superman was fun, the Joker is absolutely amazing! The first drop makes you feel like you're about to pass out. The wonder woman was sadly closed on that day but when I went a few years back I was able to get on it and wow what a rush! The Batman was okay. I only managed to get 1 full flip. But other than that, it was a good wake-up call. Overall I loved this park and I would love to go to in again at some point!
I’ve been too Magic Mountain, Discovery Kingdom, and Mexico and that’s also the order I put them in personally on how fun I had there and the rollercoaster thrills
Six flags over Texas is my hometown park and, by default, my favorite park. I am particularly nostalgic for Runaway Mountain, but the best ride, in my opinion, is the new Texas giant. Tons of fun. I did visit six flags over Georgia this year and was surprised to hear the comments about the Georgia scorcher. It was my favorite ride in the park. Twisted Cyclone, however... that was a beating. If I ever go again, I'll be skipping that one for sure. I have also visited six flags Fiesta Texas and was able to visit six flags astroworld just before it closed, but those visits were about 20 years ago, so no standout memories for those.
I like Over Texas alot, hopefully I will be getting back there soon! Fiesta is worth another visit if it has been that long for you, that park is NEXT LEVEL.
I loved Great Escape when it was just Great Escape and not owned by Six Flags. There's so much more that that ride has to offer than just the 4 coasters listed. It used to be really well run, but once Six Flags took it over, they ruined it and stopped caring about anything that wasn't a typical "Six Flags" ride (if that makes sense). It used to offer so much more back before Six Flags took it over and rebranded it all.
@@coasterswithmatt yup. that was the unfortunate thing last time I went there too. I had hyped it up so much to my girlfriend then we took a trip and.....disappointment. Bobsled was open at least when I went. That has always been a fun ride. definitely wish that park was still the way it was before it got bought.
Supervisor from the Great Escape here, I know we have so many rides down. Staffing is a realy big problem for us because there isn't a high local population. Most of our seasonal workers ie: ride opps are inyernational workers on a j1 or h2b visa. Some of the best people I have ever worked with. Also, we all want bobsled up, but getting parts for it is very difficult. It was built by Intamin, but the bobsleds are from BnM. Matinance is a nightmare with that ride
@@Helios-Rex Hey, thanks for commenting! I know it’s not your fault what is going on at the park, clearly you guys aren’t a big priority to the chain and there is not much you can do about that. I enjoyed my time at the park and hope to get on bobsled someday! Keep doing what you can to help the park improve, I appreciate you and all the employees at parks!
You must have had a really slow ride on Nitro. The airtime on the first camelback is kinda mediocre but the 2nd camelback gives pretty dang good airtime. The helix is always a greyout every ride. The final bunny hills give pretty good flojector airtime in the back. If you go back to Great Adventure i recommend you ride in D Train to get the fastest experience. Also in 2023 Jersey Devil runs so much faster than in years past. I don’t know if it’s running faster than Wonder Woman but I think it is. Which is why I think it’s criminally underrated.
As a SoCal resident and a season passholder at Magic Mountain, I would have to agree with you on your choice! I mean, it does have 20...er 16 big coasters to choose from, which is more than any other six flags or amusement park in the world! Which a lot of them at one point have held some place in the guinness book of world records. So its hard not to have Magic Mountain at number one. I've only been to one other six flags in Georgia, and I'll actually be going to Six Flags Mexico next week so we'll see how that goes. As far as your ranking on Magic Mountain coasters....I agree with you...almost. I think X2 and Twisted Colossus are a tie for #1 with Tatsu at #2 and Wonder Woman at #3. I've been on Twisted when it was dueling at it made it that much more awesome! And the fact that you pretty much get to go around twice is the cherry on top. Every time I've gone on X2, the line is a nightmare, or they always only have 1 train, or it breaks down. Yes, it is awesome, and there isn't anything like it, but with how long the wait is EVERY TIME i've gone, sometimes its not even worth waiting for. Other than that, great video man! Now you'll have to rank every Cedar Fair park 😎
I love six flags new jersey, and the first time I rode el Toro it was a blast...but what makes me kinda wanna backa way from it was a week after we went the ride had that pretty bad accident before we went back that same week it happened😅 that same day they also closed kingda ca before we got a chance to ride it bc they heard some noises from the ride. Also I'm shocked that you put six flag America at 9, as someone who goes there a lot since it's in my home town, I've rode everything by this point and let me just say this rq. You're so damn lucky as to not ride mind eraser. That ride is enough to possibly give you a concession which is why their removing it. Also the rides are amazing yes but it's the people that go to the park that makes me not like it. Always someone fighting😭
The ones that talk down on SFMM Goliath are younger than the coaster.. it opened in 2000!!! Around the same time as Superman the escape. That time was about record breaking stats not efficiency and airtime
That is true, my dad says it was crazy for the time it opened. For me stats don’t matter though, the ride experience does, so Goliath is meh. Magic Mountain still reigns supreme though!
Glad you thought SFGAm is a premier park! Goliath's turnarounds for me delivered floater, and we really do need a new coaster soon, maybe a RMC raptor. I honestly disagree with how raging bull is a weaker hyper, as I've ridden Intimidator (carowinds), and Mako. Raging bull for me delivers floater on every turn, and even some whip going into the mid course. I got raging bull ranked as my favorite ride in the park as I've been on steel vengeance and lightning rod.
I’ll ride raging bull again in the future and see if I underrated it, but for now that’s how I remembered it. I’m sure you guys will get a new coaster soon!
@@dylanwhite6539 i mean the staff doesnt impact the coaster itself. Staff comes and goes bad staff is more of a negative impact on the park than the ride itself
Darien Lake's Ride of Steel coaster used to have two trains. I remember when they first built that one when it used to be called "Superman Ride of Steel" there was a red and a blue train. Darien Lake has had a rough history. Bought out by Six Flag's in the early 2000s, then Six Flags dropped them which is where it lost the "Superman" title, then re-bought by Six Flags.
@@coasterswithmatt Tell me about it. They actually gutted out an inside rollarcoaster Darien Lake had called "The Nightmare" and then turned it into some DC heroes themed thing. It was wild when they pumped it full of DC characters...then took them all out when they left.
Make a video of the all time top ten best roller coaster rides in existence now from all of the Great Americas. This is tough but u can do it!! This would b great and greetings from Chicago...
I just subbed. Magic mountain will always be my home park , I am 61 and was there at the grand opening. MM used to be a really unsafe park with a police station onsite. And there was a bad smell around revolution. And the food always sucked.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is in my state! I haven’t been to a six flags yet, but I’m planning to go to Magic Mountain sometime this year. I’m glad to know it’s good.
In my opinion fiesta texas is #1, but im biased to that park since it is my home park. Other than that, great video! I agree with most of these rankings
I have the opposite experience when it comes to Vekoma Flying Dutchman roller coasters. I need to visit SFA. Kings Island is one of my home parks so I was able to ride Firehawk a lot. I loved it in its prime. Imo, Nighthawk is good. It’s my 5th favorite at Carowinds.
Ive only been to 2 six flags parks Magic which is my home park and Discovery Kingdom which was still marine world when i went so its been a hot minute since ive been. I defiantly would love to visit other Six flags parks some day.
My Six Flags is Darien Lake. The Superman was always the first one to hit on field trip days otherwise you would be in line for hours. It use to run two trains, but I think they had to reduce it do to the accident. I do know that they changed they changed the restraint system. As for the MotorCoaster, it's fun, but nothing with write home to. It was originally called OCC MotorCoaster due to a team up with Orange County Choppers (American Choppers). My Top three is Superman, Predator, and Viper only because I haven't been there in years.
