Beachcomber? Pterashark? Captain Bristlestache or whatever he is called? The other pirate from bandit train? Brimstone and boulders? Occulous? FIRE VIPER?
Skylanders...a name I haven't heard or cared about in a while. And yet, here I am. Is this fate? Is this the doing of a greater being? A greater power? Maybe I'm the toy they put on a portal. Maybe.
He is my favorite boss from giant but I have never played it because the one I have is on wii i just like when he start rapping I can’t get it out of my mind
Don't even care how long this took to make, this was epic. First off all its well-made, and second off all I can respect the fact that you just sat down one day and made a ranking off 54 boss fights, constructing that list alone would've been no easy task, coming from a guy who's ranked all 167 skylanders I know how much effort goes into larger lists like these, so great job my dude! I look forward to your next upload sometime in 2021! :)
The Chef Pepperjack boss honesty becomes infinitely harder on nightmare mode, since the lava chili things he throws out last a lot longer on the stage.
I miss the sleepovers me and my cousins would have where we would play Giants PvP mode and do the old loser hand the controller over way back in 2012-2013. holy shit those were the times.
I actually really like the four kaos fights in Spyros adventure. The patterns were all unique, the evil versions of the Skylanders were challenging and all of it just made the final confrontation with Kaos himself all the better.
Dont even give a shit if the Spyro community is gonna kick me in the ass, Skylanders remain a childhood icon to me same level as Yo Kai watch Edit : also, i love how the Kaos battles get crazier and crazier each entry, the last one has him going Super Saiyan
It's cause there's a rumor that they're gonna make a 7th game, which is what everyone is hoping for, but yeah i've been on a binge the whole day cause this is literally my childhood.
Swap Force definitely takes the cake for the best boss fights imo. Especially Kaos Mom. The atmosphere, the difficulty, and the creativity were all spot on. Plus the music is ominous and threatening as it gets.
I remember the first time I played Skylanders. It was specifically Giants, and I loved collecting the figures, unlocking new areas, and overall was one of my best memories from my childhood. As I kept getting more games, and Spyro's Adventure, I became a mini fan of sorts to the series. Now that I'm looking back on it, some things are not as glamorous as they used to be. But, playing them, seeing your old Imaginators you made, and overall going down memory lane still brings a smile to my face, and holds a special place in my heart.
The Stone Golem was definitely one of my favorites from Spyro's Adventure. As it was fun and still challenging, and just fighting him again was one of the reasons I would keep replaying Stonetown (And he also bursts into money after beating him which made Stonetown also a good area to grind for upgrades)
Who will win? A villain who becomes way more evil than the original bad guy, tears through reality multiple times, and is probably more feared than anyone in the whole Skylanders series OR A mage who likes little green 3-inch goblins
It appears that the most challenging battles are often the most memorable. The personality of the antagonist is definitely an influence, however. Perhaps, the villains in the Skylanders series were as integral as the Skylanders themselves.
OMG! I absolutely love the Golden Queen boss fight and I already thought you forgot to mention it, but in the end, I couldn't agree more with your decision on placing it😁 very good video man👍🏻
7:30 Don't fight her on the Wii Mini. It's basically a race against your wii's graphics card. I had to go no hat, no villain, and speedrun the level as minimalistically as possible just to prevent my wii from crashing from the intensity of the graphics in that level.
late reply it's nothing to do with how much stuff is in the level it's a wii bug that is like a time limit it was fixed in revisions of the game which are not very easy to search for nowadays
Imagine if the Gulper boss involved you hiding in a soda barrel and going inside The Gulper to beat him from the inside. Kinda like the Swap Force Kaos fight.
My favourite boss of the series was TT Kaos but Golden Queen was awesome as well. I also think TT was the best game of the series but never mind that. The Imaginators Kaos fight is nothing short of a joke tbh. Me and a friend managed to kill him before he even entered his last faze. It took us literal seconds lol.I wish Activision would release another Skylanders game but at this point Ivs given up hope tbh. Watching that video made me feel so nostalgic so thank you for that dude
Mesmerelda was prolly the most entertaining character in the series before trap team. Fun intro, fun boss fight, fun personality, and fun defeated scene.
I really wish the Doomlanders were given basic personalities. If each one was tied to a specific element and had one particular personality trait (One is confident, one is depressing, etc) and signifying colour, they’d be so much more likeable. I’d get attached to them like I did the Trap Team Doomlanders. It’d be such an easy way to make them more likeable.
Just gotta say one thing about The Darkness boss fight. If you do it in Nightmare mode. It’s actually a bit challenging. Cause when you do it in nightmare mode. The barrier things when you’re fighting him regularly does more damage and they spawn so much more. And the shoadow guardians have so much more hp that it’s frustrating you need to shoot them, dogde their attacks and dodge crystals on the track at the same time
I'm going to be honest. I haven't played Skylanders in a few years, yet there's one fight i still love. The fight against Wolfgang. It was so intense and crazy, plus he was my favourite villain
I keep wanting to replay the first game because I remember thinking the upgrade paths were really fun to explore but I’ve already donated everything so nah it’d take way too much money
man, skylanders was one of my favorite games as a kid, brings back good memorys.I even had a one of my friends come over just play skylanders giants on my 3ds.
Is it just me that gets this? Or is it glitch: When I fight nightshade, and he is at 50% health, he just stands still and his health bar drains SO fast when I hit him.
Fun fact: the Guacamole Monster was actually a complete accident. In the conversation between Kaos and Brain after the fight, Brain states that it wasn't his fault Kaos thought about guacamole during "the all-important creation process." So it was actually going to be something really scary, but then it just became...that.
@@kryptkrusher Agreed, I will never forget how absolutely dumbfounded I was when I heard Fizz say "Holy guacamole!" and the monster just comes out of nowhere like "WERE YOU TALKING ABOUT ME!?"
I remember I used to love Skylanders. Nowadays, I still like it, but not as much. Also just saying, Mesmeralda's boss fight is genuinely amazing and is my personal number 1.
The Doom Raiders are a big part of why I love Trap Team so much, especially the Golden Queen. She's built up really well as the main villain and when you get to her fight, it truly feels like the apex of the adventure. Although it's pretty obvious that Kaos is gonna betray you and his own fight is also fantastic, the Golden Queen is much more memorable due to how perfect her build up and climax were.
Drill-X and Mesmerelda will always be my favourite Skylanders bosses. There's something I always loved about bosses who can sing. Makes them feel far more unique then the rest.
I hope they make another game. even though the newer ones aren't as great theyve still been fun and who knows if they do another it might be really good
22:02 I might as well give my two cents: I think they will revive the series eventually, but it's going to be a LONG time. The games created a massive amount of burnout from the release strategy essentially being to get as much money in as little time as possible, as well as the presence of multiple competitors. As a result, both the series and the concept were worn out by 2016. But the combination of people becoming nostalgic and the fact that toys-to-life only tanked because of poor marketing and release choices opens an opportunity some time in the future for it to return. I think there's also the factor of wanting to continue Reignited style Spyro that's holding back a revival.
Chef Pepperjack is funny as a boss, cause any character with a flying ability can completely cheese his boss fight by flying over the lasers, completely removing an element of the fight. I played as Knight Light by complete coincidence and found out, and just started to crack up.
For me, Trap Team is so nostalgic. It's the first PS4 game I owned and I remember playing along Stampy. I have ALMOST all of them, except like 2 or 3. I think it's the most underrated game of all, and in my opinion, the second or third best. (Behind the OG or Giants). And the Kaos fight scared me as a kid. Those were the days
I didnt like how the majority of superchargers bosses where vehicles. That’s why Kaos’ boss and that battle arena thing feels so good, ur robbed of the classic boss feel. Edit: and monster isle (forgot about that)
Thank you RU-vid for randomly making this appear in my recommended. I'm only 13 and I grew up with Skylanders. This video gave me so much nostalgia, brought back so many memories, I genuinely cannot imagine a world in which my mum didn't get me Spyro's Adventure for I think Christmas that one time.
I like how when you look at the scale of what's been replayed the most, Drill X's rap has like, 10 times the amount of replays compared to anything else. A+ boss right there.
I have returned to claim my childhood. Honestly, I agree with the last two wholeheartedly. I've been giving Ring of Heroes some thought. Is it worth the download?
I'd say only if you don't mind your phone becoming a slave to Ring of Heroes then it's worth the download. You have to let the game autobattle over and over to get the right amount of gold and materials to power up your skylanders, which is what my phone is doing right now. And personally I don't like the rarity system of the skylanders because if your favorite skylander is the lowest rarity, then it's too weak to use and if your favorite skylander is the highest rarity then good luck with the tiny chance of getting it randomly. Also, interesting how all the Imaginators skylander senseis are in the game and 15 are the best rarity (15/18) while a huge chunk of the other games' skylanders are missing
I’m really surprised that people don’t like the super evil Kaos boss fight. Because I think it’s one of the better Kaos fights it’s quite simple and easy but still really fun.
