Meme Magnet I’m not 100% sure but I think it was because ameer got kicked out around a week before puppy was released, so it would’ve been weird to release a whole project with one the previous face of the group being profoundly featured in every song . It didn’t release bc ameer was kicked
i think the obsession with STAR is due to the fact that it's a straight banger. no particular beat switches, not too complex musically, so it's easily accessible and enjoyable and it's good for hype at live shows
snubbed: liquid tokyo jello teeth swamp zipper boogie queer sister/nation p.s. idk why everyone loves bleach so much like the chorus and beat are good but that's it
Bleach is definitely No. 1 such a hard hitting track with a beautiful beat. Every member at their best, and Ameers verse stands out more than ever now.
Wow, really fantastic video. It was a great idea to break down your score system so that more goes into it than just personal taste - it made some of the more controversial picks much easier to swallow than some other lists, which can wobble on being obnoxious. While I agree with a lot of this list, I do disagree with some picks (BLEACH has never been one of my favourite BH songs, but I do get why it's so popular, and WASTE is the weakest closing tack imo), but I still really loved this video :-)
I respectfully disagree, I think it highlights how good brockhampton is at using auto tune to enhance emotion, especially compared to other boybands. Also, the hook is weirdly catchy for such a sad song.
All the songs I personally like scored at least a 7 or above which is surprising to me since Brockhamptom has so many different sounds and appeal to different people. The songs that I like others don’t necessarily enjoy. However, bleach being number one is amazing considering that is the only Brockhamptom song I go to first when showing people the boy band. I couldn’t agree with this list anymore, bravo.
Don't agree with the list but I respect the science. My bias comes from Sat III being an all out masterpiece. The entire work levelled them up to me. Zipper, rental, Johnny, bleach, sister are all top 10 to me. Im definitely a BrockHampton fanboy.
I dont have any problems with the standings (it is mostly personal opinion in the end), but how come you never singled out Dom from any of the songs. Guy definitely deserves it in some of his verses
Alfredo Ramirez because ameer overshadowed dom way too much and that’s the biggest W that came out of him having to leave. we saw it on dearly departed that dom can spit hard, emotional verses but before that he was just the less distinct storytelling sorta-tough dude in the group. the only actual overlap in the group was dom and ameer
@@yeetmeat7837 Nah, Dom’s always had unique verses- he’s more complex lyrically than Amir and his voice has more personality imo, plus he actually changes his flow
Personal Top 5 1. Bleach 2. Milk 3. Johnny 4.Gold 5. Heat But ranking BROCKHAMPTON is hard because I love almost every song. There’s only two or three I don’t like
I cant belive jello was ranked higher than Boys, johnny, and bank got last :/ I do agree with the number 1, sister/nation shouldve been higher tho, sister is all round incredible, and nation is so emotional, merlyns part, although tiny, is so beautiful. Hottie is amazing and youre trash if you say otherwise, and stupid is amazing, the livestream of its making was the best thing ever. I agree w/ your thoughts on star the beats good but I dont think they tried their hardest on the lyrics like they do with other their songs
what the fuck are people talking about, star not having great lyrics? it's the most dense song as far as lyrics I think they've ever put out. every line a quotable and it's FULL of lines.
Zakk Official I can see how "They didn't put much thought into the lyrics" can seem like im dissing the song im not, i recognize the word play is incredibly clever and they made it flow so well. its not favorite but I can still enjoy it, im just saying its one of their most popular songs but it's not very "deep",(for lack of a better word) personally I believe Johnny is way better but meh in the end everyones entitled to their own preferences.
I don't know why everyones complaining, this is 70% opinionated so of course there are some listings you'll disagree with, out of 50 its near impossible to get the perfect order but i think the system you made is good even if i dont agree with all the rankings.
MILK is one of my favorite songs by them bc I have struggled with anxiety and it really speaks to me bc the lyrics say “I gotta get better at being me” I felt like that was a really important song.
Super appreciate the effort on making equation, researching the stream numbers & live performance frequencies. but doesn't it still a bit invalid though? by that formula though, shouldn't the tracks from saturation 3 will get less stream numbers than saturation 2 and 1? So does with the frequency of the song performed. i think you should have made the list solely based on your opinion. your opinion and views on the music is what made your subscriber subscribe to your channel anyway. great video though. PS: my favs: GOLD, SWEET, BOOGIE
thanks! and it wasn't really looking at total numbers. it would be in comparison to other songs on that given album. so if Bleach had a million streams and Liquid had a thousand, Bleach would get around a 10 for popularity and Liquid would get around a 1. that's a horrible numerical example lol but I think you get the point
ben larson huh i could definitely understand the chorus bugging people cuz its kinda cheesy and poppy, but i hadn't thought of the hook. I can kinda see it tho
ben larson oh okay lmao yea i definitely understand chorus, it can be a bit much. I overlook it a bit personally cuz as cheesy as it is, the lyrics are relatable to me, so i give it a pass.
Glad that at least you have respect for MILK, Doms verse is my favourite verse in all of the trilogy and it’s such an amazing song that even if not everyone listens to it, at least those that listen to it love it
