The L86A1 has the 2nd fastest ttk in the game with a dmg barrel. Since most opponents don't have their armour anymore, it has a 0,155ttk which is just slightly behind the Scorpion which has 0.150.
As a support main, bipods are useless where youre trying to utilize the build skill imo. If yall didnt know, you can build the gray barrier, deconstruct it to halfway, then put the sandbag barrier on top so that the holes are eye level, and now you can ads+lean while exposing yourself as little as possible. I use this build method often and the bipod is useless while shooting through the sandbag holes.
You could also build a sandbag barrier right behind it on a level that your bipod can rest on, but the main problem really is that the bipod does nothing.
Do not forget, with the support exo armor you don't get many mags. Dropping a mag even when empty means that unless you pick it up, you are down a whole mag until you die. (Even supply drops don't give you mags back, only ammo for the mags)
the bipod has so many downsides for such a bland gain in accuracy. It's so bad it's actually making me practice tap firing instead of going bipoded. I'm actually thinking, once I reach 100, to run the ultimax along with the glock... For support to become the main defense class it would really need that bipod to kind of lock you into bipod, I've had so many fights where I remove my bipod accidently mid shooting. The string of bullets is also a big giveaway for snipers that have the advantage at 120+ meters. Finally, there are laserbeamers like M4A1 that can just as well tap fire you to your grave. PS: the horizontal recoil on the M249 pisses me off lmao
Bipod feels useless. With all the downsides that comes with the bipod, it just feels awful to use. Even while bipod is active, the gun doesn't even feel better compared to just using a vertical grip. I would expect the gun to be way more controllable at longer ranges where you would want to plant in one area to counter the downsides
And it needs to actually be active when you want it to. Maybe some stickiness would help, but rn it feels way to hard to have active. Also, shouldn’t making the gun heavier decrease the recoil? Lol
@@09Ceekayi mean ultimax and m249 are really meant to be ground fired and r no recoil laser beams in battlebit so i wouldnt be suprised if the mg42 gets added
@@09Ceekay there could be a balancing feature based on the weight, like not being able to fire it outside of crouch near obstacles or laying down, and not being able to move with the bipod deployed, not mounting an underbarrel attachment because of the bipod, and just not having any walkspeed when equipped. but idk, I'm not a game developer.
And for anyone who hasn’t realized; the m249 doesn’t have a hold r reload! It will drop a box, but you’ll notice there’s still one on the gun and the animation still includes removing it! It’s the same animation and takes the same amount of time, except now you have 1 less box mag 😂
I love playing support i always seem to fair best with it. I actually havent really used much other than the M249 i need to branch out. I like the support because with all three ammo boxes i can put 16 grenades down range and help bust through choke points, or i can set up lots of claymores all over and trap up an area i plan to defend. I actually have half as many kills with claymores as i do M249. I love trapping up a point in frontline when i anticpate us losing ground the explosion attrition can really help slow down the other team. I really wish they would beef up the recoil control on the bipod so i could cover angles a bit better. On the larger magazine sizes it can really make a big difference i got a jump in a squad of 6 and was able to take them all down due to my high capacity with a standard assault rifle I would have well ran out of ammo
For me l86>mg36. The rof diff doesnt seem that big but in my experience its the diff between beating m4's and losing to them. And highly recommended trying flash hider or surpressor on m249. Lets you fire off more rounds before agro and actually use that capacity
l86 = feels like cannon to use. high rate of fire and damage with very high recoil mg36 = the true assault rifle of support. big magazine and damage with big vertical recoil but low rate of fire m249 = your average machine gun. huge ammo count with slightly lower damage than LSW's but suprisingly lower recoil than LSW's (almost a laser beam compared to most guns with attachments) ultimax = idk never used (speaking from experience) l86 4/5 mg36 3.5/5 (the rate of fire brings it down) m249 4.5/5
Doesn't the m249 statistically have less vertical recoil than the standard m4 or ak74? Also long barrel is really good because damage drop off is nonexistent for the first 100m
This is the perfect channel to ask my question as it deals with phantom forces and battlebit: Isn’t battlebit really similar to phantom forces? The graphics look the same, and the gameplay looks a bit similar. I just want to know if it’s just kind of a better phantom forces before I buy it.
I'm a player that loves PF but this game is way better. The thing that PF always keep over the others is the variety of guns. So Battlebit is better because of its mechanichs and gameplay
The gunplay in battlebit is better, movements a little worse, scale is better, guns are worse because there is less variety, voice chat makes it awesome and overall it’s worth buying
Yeah that Drum mag on the MG36 is STUPID, 60 bullets.....you may as well strap 2 normal mags together. That double drum ALWAYS has 100 rounds in any other Game (and in Real Life probably). If anything it would be a SINGLE drum (which is 50 bullets). The Saw can take M16 Mags? Neat, would make for a interesting attachment. (they really should rebalance how mags effect your gun, it feels so wrong) They really need to rebalance the Bipod, LOOK AT ALL THAT RED! Not to mention you have to be stationary to use it and it Automatically deploys and undeploys. Like given the bipod ONLY helps when its deployed, why does it need all those negative stats? Just make it "neutral", it does nothing until you deploy it.
honestly the weapon and attachment balancing is kind of irritating in this game. It seems while trying to avoid a cod-like meta where everything has no recoil and giant extended mags with no penalties, a lot of attachments and guns don’t make any sense, and gun setups are pretty much the same across all classes
Devs don't seem to know shit about guns. Nothing works how its supposed to for a milsim. Heavy barrels, suppressors and just being an lmg should all lower recoil by weight along. But the super light and fast smgs can beam you from 200m at 1200 rpm. Cuz balance. Light recoil my ass, lmgs have way too much recoil (and all are 5.56, why are the damage ranges all over and the velocities slow as shit?) Why no Rpk or M240b? Those shoot larger rounds and would do more damage.
M249 is just my favorite in the game at my current rank of 50. Yes, I enjoy sprinting around healing/reviving as a Medic, but I have over 100 more kills on the M249 with slightly less playtime than my Medic class.
Yeah if you get more kills with LMGS support is 100% the class to play but I think most people do better with more run and gun personally I do best with like the sg550 in medium close range just beaming everyone I see
Currently I have 800 frags on M249, most of kills done on medium-long range with TRX32 but in my opinion best attachments to this weapon is Vertical Grip, Bipod has been beeter like for 3/10 situations, where you can really camp for long term. For Barrel Suppressor Short. Reducing recoil, helps with flash a lot (for camping) so in list : -Barrel Suppressor Short -Underbarrel Rail: Vertical grip -Scope: TRX32 + red dot
I think the Stabil grip is the best for me when it comes to the Ultimax because the first shot kick is the biggest problem outside of just vertical recoil. That first shot with any gun is just so important too for straight up 1v1 gunfights and shooting at range.
might not be true but i saw a video explaining that the first shot kick stat is broken and the attachments that reduce first shot kick actually don’t do that but effect other stats instead… i’ll try to find the vid and link but if that’s def wrong lmk- cuz i love using the scar h as a dmr dude in vid suggest running vert grip to reduce tap fire kick
@@ajaxkay8701 Damn really? I've always felt like the Stability grip helps like it says it does but could be placebo. I mean I would assume that first shot kick is a modifier of the base recoil stats anyways though.
ngl the difference in reload time for the MG36 between non empty mag and holding R vs empty mag and not holding R is INSANE. when using it i always hold R to reload since you can literally pick up the dropped magazine before the reload animation is done (same thing with the M249), and when possible i try to reload with at least one bullet in the magazine because the added time to chamber a round is painful.
Btw, I’m pretty sure M249 hold R reload is the same speed as the normal reload. Haven’t timed it, but it looks the exact same. All your doing is dropping your box for no reason 😂
@@joshlewis8860 i just timed it, its maybe 1/2 a second faster so yeah not a huge difference. but yea i think there is a bug where even when you do the quick reload and the ammo box drops, you still go through the animation of taking it off
I wish the heavy ammo box had a mechanic like the medkit where you don't have to throw it down, but right click on someone and refill like a mag per .33 seconds and gadgets and grenades every second.
Ngl I am EXTREMELY skeptical about the this whole review. 4 guns reviewed half of them don’t have kills to a combined total of kills to 11. How do you have any idea how these work inside real games?
@@StriderPF Nah, if you don't have experience with it ingame it doesn't count for shit. Shooting at targets in the practice range does not equal combat effectiveness. The L86 has such high FSR and vertical combined that it flies over my enemies heads. 40yds and the guns jumps 4+feet above where I fired. Lmgs are supposed to be heavy and lower recoil as a result. The vector has a 60 round drum and is a better lmg. The p90 is a better lmg. 30 rounds is pathetic. And having a heavier mag INCREASES recoil? These devs don't know anything about guns. Muzzle breaks increase your V recoil? Heavy barrels increase recoil? Suppressors increase recoil? Milsim my ass.
