This should be titled loyalty to Dutch not the gang. If this were actually based on the gang Arthur would be number 1 and Dutch and Micah would be at the bottom.

This is wildly off on multiple fronts. Dutch betrayed everyone whenever it was convenient, Arthur was loyal to him even AFTER Dutch betrayed him.

i feel like this guy didnt even play the game. arthur was loyal to Dutch up until the end. He went back to camp after he found out micha is the rat just to tell dutch. in the standoff at the end arthur only pointed his gun at dutch after dutch started to point his gun at him and sided with micha. he only went again dutch because he cared about the other members and he cared about dutch and tried to reason with him. his last words to dutch were "i gave YOU all i had". But yeah let rank him 11 on the loyalty scale for dutch and the gang. Also bro said arthur left the gang. like what?

I really enjoyed watching your video as usual, but I'm afraid I disagree with your opinion this time. As you said at the end of the video, it's a ranking of the gang members loyalty to Dutch. However, I think it's more important to rank them according to their loyalty to the gang as a hole: - For starters, I'd rank bottom Micah instead of Trelawny. Sure, both ultimately cared for what was best for them but Trelawny never did anything against anyone in the gang. - Maybe Molly should be second to the bottom, she didn't care for anyone in the gang except Dutch and only while he cared about her. - Jack should just not be qualified, although it was a fun :) - When it became clear that Dutch was driving the gang of a cliff, gang members had to choose. Be loyal to Dutch while it could hurt my friends or be loyal to my friends abandoning the gang... In this case, what is really being loyal to the gang. - Dutch in the end only cared for his ego and would even sacrifice gang members to get his way. Remember leaving John rotting in the penitenciary. Is he really loyal to the gang? So to sum up, this video should be titled "Ranking Every Van Der Linde Gang Member By Their Loyalty (To Dutch)" XD Still, I enjoyed your video, so good job.

Make up your mind, are you ranking for loyalty to the Gang or to Dutch? Dutch was not loyal to the Gang anymore than Micah, Dutch used the gang to get what he wanted, Arthur saw this in Guarma. Arthur had Loyalty to the Gang, he stayed through Ch. 6 because of his loyalty to the Gang, wanting everyone to be safe, and together if he could, while Dutch and Micah destroyed it.

I find it very ironic that the actor that plays Bill is actually super intelligent irl. Despite the fact I disagree with your tier scale this time, it was still a well put together video & you made good arguments for your opinion. Like others have said, I would judge loyalty to the gang as a whole, not just loyalty to Dutch.

Trelawny is definitely more loyal than Micah, and he doesn’t always help the gang for his own personal benefit. Need I remind you that Trelawny was the one who found Sean, who was captured in Blackwater? There was no financial stake in a rescue mission from a town where every Lawman and Pinkerton want Van Der Linde’s head. No reward, not for one’s personal gain anyway. But Trelawny helped anyway.

This list ain’t it. So much to mention, but here are a few. Trelawny didn’t rat out the gang when he was captured. Uncle actually contributed unlike Swanson, and Arthur Morgan was the most loyal to the gang. He took his dying breath trying to help whoever he could in the gang. Being loyal to Dutch is NOT the same as being loyal to the gang.

I mean trelawny also helped the gang. Arthur says to Charles about Trelawny "just as we think about cutting ties with him, he brings something useful. I guess that's his luck" something like that

It depends what you consider loyalty to. Arthur was the most loyal in the fact that he was loyal to the people and their survival. He’s a truest loyal person because he actually wanted to help

I would say Arthur was very loyal to the gang, since he only goes against them when Dutch tries leaving John behind, who he is also loyal to, and after Dutch betrays Arthur, really the only members he wasn’t loyal to were Dutch, Micha, Strauss, Joe, and Cleet. Or at least I assume, we don’t get to seem Arthur talk to Joe and Cleet much.

Trelawny wasn’t disloyal. I mean he didn’t talk when he was beaten and tortured. He definitely did care about what happened to them and especially Arthur. He seemed to genuinely care about him

Ngl this is probably your worst list, because of how sloppy and inconsistent it is throughout. Micah should be last, because while Trelawny dipped whenever he pleased, he always eventually came back and gave valuable information. He also at least cared about the gang, yet he's below a traitor that never cared for anybody. Pearson should be higher. He cooked for 20+ people every single day and waited for them to eat first before him. He's underrated imo. Arthur being that low is the biggest offense here. Dutch betrayed him first, but even then, Arthur technically didn't betray Dutch, he just wanted to prevent folks from getting killed. Despite his madness, Arthur still stayed with Dutch 'till the very end, even after being left for dead and getting betrayed. He stayed with the camp as long as Hosea, but apparently Hosea is in second because he "went along with it". Wasn't Arthur doing the same? Dutch being number 1 is just corny and predictable. Dutch wasn't loyal to his gang, everything was for his own self-interest. If this list was about loyalty to Dutch instead, why include him? Dutch is not loyal in any sense to the gang. He’s loyal to himself he constantly puts himself at a higher priority than the rest of the gang, which is disloyalty by definition. an Arthur should be the most loyal person and this is shown just by the fact he went back to tell Dutch that Micah was the rat and expose him if he wanted to. He could’ve ran away, but he decided to go back and try one last time to get Dutch to come back to rationality

Uncle is a lot more loyal than you’re putting him. He was with the gang up until he knew that staying in it was stupid. It could be argued he was not loyal to Dutch but that’s because at the point we start the game the gang was already on the decline and you can see a conversation between Dutch and Uncle in Chapter 2 explaining his doubts. I think prior to Red Dead 2 Uncle was more loyal to Dutch as that was when Dutch was leading the gang better.
