If there was a tier list about which charecter had the most tragic life it will be 1jack 2 arthur , let's be fare arthur had some fun times but he was doing things he didn't like he had no choice he followed dutch blindly and died at a young age
i think lenny should be ALOT higher, he joined in ALOT of robberies, is a nice gun, nice actor, nice robber and very smart. definitely more productive than miss grimshaw
Guarma had its own charm. I’ve seen AAA games that are WAYYYY worse than guarma. Although guarma was fun, it wasn’t the best, the title is overreacting, guarma was too short, Dutch being Dutch, left guarma. Colter, shorter than guarma, and kinda just sucked. Def one of the worser chapters. It had 2 battles. Guarma had 2. Horseshoe overlook god knows how many, right?
Tumbleweed is haunted :D when you hang out in the main mansion for long enough you can see ghost footprints on the ground walking! I’m sure there’s old videos out there on it
I posted this as a reply, but will also comment on it here. Actually, despite the popularity and influence on most modern and revisionist westerns that the spaghetti western genre had, which clearly RDR1 is modelled after, most of the traditional westerns, with more realistic rather than ''mystified'' depictions of the time period, are much closer to RDR2. Sergio Leone did not invent the genre, there was a long tradition of the western genre long before the spaghetti western hype, even if obviously RDR2 is inaccurate and highly fictionalized in its own world. Tale a look at John Ford's and Howard Hawk's classic films or Anthony Mann's films, Lonesome Dove, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and even more contemporary stuff like Tombstone, Deadwood, Assassination of Jesse James, Dances with Wolves, The Revenant, 1883, Open Range, Unforgiven, True Grit, 310 to Yuma etc all resemble RDR2 rather than RDR1's spaggheti counterpart influences. Different strokes for different folks, but RDR2 does in fact take a lot of influences and calls back to the western genre
unpopular opinion, i think outside of the native american idea, there really is no reason to make an rdr3 because it would be insanely hard to live up to the expectation of rdr2. i think the best decision is to completely revamp online, like to eso proportions. maybe expand into mexico, and really add and improve on all the shortcomings of red dead online so far
Micah was right, too much dead weight in the gang. The ledger proves that. People giving in total crap like feathers while Arthur is out there working his ass off 😭
I need to get this off my chest real quick. I watch these types of videos at the same time. 2.a.m mountain time. It may seem like there’s no reason to it, but there is. For the past month or two, I’ve had this feeling of dread hitting me, not any random dread, I mean like the kind of dread that hits when you’re being watched. I have no clue where it’s coming from, I have no idea how. But I’ve been using red dead as a pseudo coping mechanism. I can’t really tell my girlfriend about this since I know I’d just sound like a rambling schizoid, which yes I know, I sound like one now. I’m just not sure on what to do at this point but sitting here right before a pretty important day is nothing but unnerving and unsettling.
I actually think the Lyle Morgan idea could be really intriguing if it was spun kinda like the breaking bad type father doing unethical things to provide for his family. Kinda like how at the end Walt Jr. hated walter you could frame it as Lyle actually cared about his son but arthur never found out/ only saw his bad side.
I love how some women here are thirsting over John when he literally looks like an average guy….yet in real life they wouldn’t even consider someone who’s average man, attractive 💀
I know that red dead redemption 3 is going to take place after red dead redemption 1 and I know for a fact that you are going to play as Jack Marston I bet you money on that
I love new austin its one of my favorite states in the game and its not because of rdr1 i played rdr2 before rdr1 i just like it its got some of the best gang hideouts and i also like armadillo because you can just kill the whole town and the law wont show up
4:05, Explosive rifle could also be referring to the Rare Explosive Rifle weapon that was present in Red Dead Redemption, but not Red Dead Redemption 2
1:02 To say John didn’t save anyone is so dumb the whole point of John doing what he did in the end was to save his family he knew they wanted him dead so he sent his family off to protect themselves and got ready to face the music alone his sacrifice was for Abigail and Jack he saved them Abigail doesn’t die till later in the series where we come back and Jack is burying her
I didn’t know brother Dorkins missions and Penelope and Beau’s missions were considered story missions, I’ll do those for my story missions only playthrough where I’m just doing story missions and not buying anything or doing any side missions.
