I played VJ1 when it came out and i absolutely loved it. It hurt so much that noone i knew had played it. I replayed it many many times. Thanks for the vid. You earned my follow.
Fun fact: The PSP version of Red Hot Rumble includes Dante from Devil May Cry and alternate skins for characters and turn them into DMC characrers like Nelo Angelo
I love VJ1 I remember when I lost my GC memory card and wanted to play this game, so I ended up mastering it to the point where I can finish it in 2 hours. Nowadays if Im bored I can just sit through this game and still have a blast with it. Its a shame Capcom kind of forgot about it...
When I first bought Viewtiful Joe, it was supposed to be a Capcom exclusive for GameCube like P. N. 09. That little purple patch in the upper left corner of the GameCube game case that reads, "Only for" doesn't mean anything now. Capcom saw how successful VJ was and brought it to other platforms. I understand that if they didn't, we may never have gotten VJ 2. However that agreement I was reading about in Nintendo Power about exclusives by Capcom for GameCube... was broken.
Red Hot Rumble is the one I personally had the most experience playing so that would be the one I would recommend largely due to the fact that I tend to favor multiplayer games over single player games but I definitely understand why you care too much for it
As a kid i liked 2 because they made it easier yet the same! As an adult i appreciate the first one story and difficulty! Plzzzzzz remake or make a 3!!!!!! 🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏
If you mean the events of games, it's pretty straightforward. You have 1 and 2 happens immediately after. Like literally, immediately after lol. Double Trouble is a little weird cause everything points to it being after 2 but the way it starts doesn't really connect to how 2 ends so it's wonky in that regard. Then Red Hot Rumble i figure is non canon since its story is not so much one plot as it is just a giant spin off scenario to have all these characters together. It doesnt connect to any other game like that, and actually uses a lot of characters original to the anime, which is cool. The anime itself is pretty good at mixing in an adaptation of the games while also bringing in original stuff.
