Finally someone talks about how good this game was,tho there’s a few details you missed W-1,you forgot to mention the tree level! That one was so cool! W-2,I still hope the totem level theme returns sometime W-3,The cannon level on this world was quite difficult if I remember correctly W-4,you pretty much covered everything,although the complaint about the water level seemed like a weird critique W-5,The coinship level felt like a tycoon almost,when you toss the koopa shell on the ship then keep the gold rings going so you are constantly generating coins,it was so much fun! W-6,that bowser fight was the best in any nsmb game,he gets big sure, but it’s not just,hit the axe or run away from him,it’s an intense platforming section W-🍄,every secret world in the games is like this… W-🌹 had one of the coolest bosses in any Mario game,the intensity of Lemmys balls bouncing you back on the treadmill and the ablility to jump up and hit the switch,it was so cool W-⭐️,still the best dry bowser fight
I never had a 3ds and I want all the Nsmb games ported to the switch tbh, 3d land and galaxy 2 as well also congrats on 600k god I remember the old days
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe should've been New Super Mario Bros. Collection. And Super Mario 3D All Stars shouldn't have been limited and included Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I think this game’s biggest strength is its level design and theming. A lot of these levels in the game are really creative and some backdrops in levels like the snowy sky levels and the sunset are really aesthetically pleasing
Yeah. I always assumed this game was just a generic bland NSMBWii clone with Mario 3 stuff thrown in to make it "stand out," but looking at all these levels I'm seeing all sorts of crazy things that's never seen in the other NSMB titles and it looks really creative! I think World 1 is probably what gives this game such a bad rap as that is literally just "Generic Super Mario" world and people probably assume that's what the rest of the game is like. Also its close proximity to NSMBU's release and the fact that the soundtrack is almost entirely just Wii's reused probably didn't help its image.
New Super Mario Bros 2 is not only the most underrated Nintendo game of all time but it's also the most overhated Nintendo game of all time (90% of the time unfairly) and as someone who really loves this game it really deserves a lot more love and respect
Late Again..... 9: World 1 Like Nico said, it's Easy. 1-3 is my Favorite Level because of the Tanooki Tail 8: World Mushroom Again like Nico said, No Theme and it's too easy. My Favorite Level is the Castle. 7: World Flower No Theme again, but I do like the Levels more. World Flower-1 is my Favorite because of that background 6: World Star Again, No Theme, but there are a lot of Great Levels. My Favorite is Star-1 because of that Beautiful Background. 5: World 2 The Desert World in this Game isn't as bad as Wii and U, but It's not as good as DS. 2-4 is my Favorite because it feels like you're going on top of some Pyramids. 4: World 6 What can I say about most Lava Worlds in these Games, they're just Awesome. Now ironically 6-3 is my Favorite Level in this World. 3: World 3 Starting at the Beach and ending in the Jungle, that's just Amazing. 3-4 is my Favorite because of the Rising Poison. 2: World 5 I enjoy all of the Sky Levels in this Game, so You can see why World 5 is high up here. 5-3 is just an Awesome Level with all of those Pipe Cannons. 1: World 4 I know it's pretty Ironic to put a Snow World at Number 1, but I just Love this World. I can't choose a Favorite Level. I will agree that 4-5 just seems out of place.
Imagine if World 4-5 is about time traveling to the future where Bowser actually melted World 4 and caused major flooding and its all about Mario messing with Bowser's Time Machine and messing up big time. Then, Mario has to fix it by going back to the past and telling his past self to not waste time with that time machine and fix his dumb mistake and continue his quest.... IDK, just thought of that.
