Shinobu is obviously the killer. She went insane from working for Itto, killed Itto, then killed Yanfei to hide the evidence

Qiqi would be interesting actually because she could lose her memory after every kill and be just as confused as the rest of the group.

Ayato fits the "gentleman faking a smile killer" Like he'll be the perfect protector all throughout the movie, "accidentally" finding you. Steering you away from potential killers, he'll be so gentle the entire time. But then stabs you last second, smile completely gone EDIT: OHOHOH HE'S THE STUDENT COUNCIL PREZ POSSIBLY ??

My head canon is that Heizou is actually the mastermind behind the whole ordeal, but this is only revealed in the final movie in a face off between the last surviving character. His motive: he wanted to make his own mystery since he solved his other cases too easily.

Kaeya has the killer vibes. He would be a horrible one to deal with too. Cuz he has both the brains and brawn to do somebody in and even pin the blame on somebody else. Even worse if the last person actually gets away, they'd never really really have peace cuz he could come after them or manipulate someone to do so. Plus he could figure out the killer too. Kaeya is an overall problem in any film.

It makes sense - Yanfei is a lawyer and Heizou is a detective. While they both hold roughly the same knowledge regarding the investigation and the weight of the criminal's acts and how to apprehend them, Heizou has more experience dealing with a criminal on the run, whereas Yanfei unfortunately becomes careless with her safety the further she progresses and gets killed. I imagine it going like Heizou would find pieces of Yanfei's notes and build off of them. This scene in my head of the protagonist/s getting too impulsive and putting the blame on the red herring killer, and Heizou tries to argue that "they're not, Yanfei said-" "Yanfei's gone!" And then uncomfortable silence mourning Yanfei. I don't think Kaeya would die early, though. He's just way too slippery to for it. He could be a false kill who comes back the last minute to bring confirmation about the killer's identity, or he could be the killer himself. He'd be a great one, too. Charming and reputable, sneaky and smart, he's someone who you don't expect at first, but rewatching the movie makes you see all the clues and you get hit by that "oh shit wtf" moment. Like, he disappears in just the right times, is seen in just the right moments, doing just the right things to remove people's suspicions of him. Might pull of that move where he fakes dying or getting severely injured and do the rest of the work behind the scenes while the protagonists direct their attention to the red herring (Diluc).

Chongyun is either the exorcists who seals the ghost/demon/evil being in the end or the one who survives because he knows the basics about supernatural things.

I'd have put Eula in as the red herring, because it was a bit of a herring when she was introduced, no? Definitely made people wonder 'wait, who//why is this character so mean to everyone?'. I can see them framing her as cold, up until the last 15 minutes before the finale where she proves shes actually a nice, warm hero underneath the meanness... then *bam*, she gets ded!

Qiqi being a killer would actually be terrifying given her lore and unlikelihood of being suspected. Her murderous line would probably be something sinister like, "Fortunately, Qiqi won't remember you. Qiqi wonders if anyone else will either." Then nobody suspects her because of her poor mental capacity.

kazuha would be the super sad finale death and he'll be like "Tomo, I'm back..." and then the camera goes to aether's cheek but you cant see his eye but theres like a single tear drop and whatever

I feel like Thoma would be that butler guy in the creepy mansion where the murders take place Diluc or Ayato would be the master of the mansion who invited everyone to come to the party and maybe some people might suspect them of hosting the party in order to find their victims (Also omg I really like your idea of Tarty and Lumine together and she's secretly the assistant which is cool cuz her brother is the hero)

I can see Hu Tao essentially being the Kokichi of the case, saying morbid things and making jokes about how heavy it was to drag Itto’s body into the incinerator, only to then die at the hands of the true murderer - QiQi.

Itto would probably get scared and get separated from the group and then after the fact people would be mourning him in a secluded area and he comes crashing through the foliage and is like: “LOOK AT THIS SICK BUG I FOUND”

I feel like Bennett would be the shock kill that kicks off the finale. Like, he’s having a heart-to-heart with the other survivor(s) about how he’s been so unlucky all his life, but now it seems like his luck is finally turning around… and then he dies a horrible death 😭 Also, I think Sucrose would be the protag who makes it out alive in the end. I can totally imagine her going through a ‘shy and timid heroine becomes gritty and badass through their horrible ordeal’ character arc, maybe that’s just me tho.

Ayato gives me this vibe where he is secretly power hungry. Thoma is like the person help his without knowledge of what he's truly up to. Ayaka know her brother true intentions and has to kill him or something. But we don't find out Ayato is the killer/villain till the very end.

I feel like Kaeya and Venti would be red herrings. They both have a charming outward personality, but something about them is just SUS. But then you find out they've been hunting the killer for like 5 years or something lol.

Sucrose is definitely the first kill of the movie where she is at school really late finishing the chemistry club experiments and cleaning up the lab and she is scared by the killer and is like “I’m sorry I’m just cleaning up” then it’s like a POV shot of her getting stabbed with like a test tube or some bullshit and is found in school the next day which starts the whole plot

my takes on how some characters would be represented in the roles they are on the list :))) hu tao would just be seen skulking around the bodies after they die but never actually doing anything heizou reads a lot of detective manga so he knows all of the common tropes and what to do in those situations people would realize shenhe's red ropes are gone, so they will get suspicious of her as more people die idk for anyone else give recommendations.

I feel like Childe would be a red herring or an accomplice, he would know who the killer is, but he just wouldn’t say

I might be biased to Kaeya because he's my main and favourite character but I feel like he'd survive for quite long and could be considered a risk since he tends to work as a spy, getting people to accidentally spill information in-game and probably has good deduction skills. He's smart, a good strategist, fast and agile so I don't know I feel like he'd be hard to catch and that he'd outsmart the killer (for a good part of the movie anyway). Honestly now that I think about it, he could be in any of the categories apart from first kill. He could survive due to his agility and ability to be undercover/hide, he could be the killer because of his smarts and ability to throw people off and manipulate them, he could be the red-herring because people could find him suspicious as he tends to lie or not give all the info, he could die in the finale perhaps sacrificing himself for one of his friends (or Diluc because ragbros angst) or he's just been finally caught, he could die in the first hour because he was seen as a risk that needed to be eliminated (like Yanfei)

Okay, hear me out..... Sucrose as the Accomplice to Rubedo. She has secretly always loved Albedo, and then Rubedo comes in and manipulates her, makes her feel special and has her do all the dirty work, and then right at the end of the movie, Rubedo kills her because she has become more of a problem than a help. It would be tragic and just.... 😙👌👌👌

I head canon that Layla would be either first blood or first hour kill for similar reasons to Sayu. Friend just fell asleep trying to figure out who the killer was and didn't notice the killer was behind her.

I really agree with this list and I'm surprised myself thinking about how good a killer Childe would be out of things I'd change I see Thoma and Ayaka surviving 1 hour they aren't that naïve but they wouldn't last too long I was thinking the same or Itto but no, no matter how much muscle he has he's too much of an idiot to survive for long. Gorou would die first because of how flustered he gets he'd end up in a similar situation as Sucrose

I have 2 ideas for ranking Genshin characters. The first idea is ranking them as kids. Like are they a obedient child that follows the rules, or are they a kid that's always jumping on the bed. The second idea is ranking them as super heros. Like are they a good super hero every one loves, or are they a bad super hero were everyone knows their identity. Or are they a villain or just a citizen.

Honestly, I say Bennett should be the hero that survive. Yes he has bad luck, but through all the tragedy that he went through he is still alive. He survive a hell of a dungeon when he was just a baby.

Everyone would be sus of Diluc and Rosaria but after they die it would be revealed by Albedo that Diluc and Rosaria were on the killer's trail and the fact that they died gives him a vital clue.

Ok but the REAL question is who is the character who trips over nothing while running from the killer and can't get up for some reason

Itto definitely wouldn't be first blood. He's too charismatic. He's the kind of character they use to lighten the mood here and there and use his strong personality to bounce the other characters off of. Then he dies halfway through the movie to kill every bit of lighthearted mood that was left and hammer down on the actual horror.

Barbara seems like she would kill the killer and then feel bad that the killer was dead so start killing people to avenge them

I feel like Nahida will be the last one dying and her death would be the most surprising and sad shock moment, because she was one of the main characters, the most loved cutie of them all, and the movie is almost over, so surely there is NO WAY she will die, right? But she does. Right before the killer dies. (maybe even sacrifices herself and murder the killer this way)

Childe and Lumine got together to kill the archons bc they were mad at them. + Childe asked lumine to join the fatui and she agreed. Ninguang didn’t know they were killers so she helped them. Ayato was mad because of ayaka and thoma’s deaths. Qiqi didn’t know any better so Lumine and Childe got her to help. Lisa decided to help them for her own reasons. and Yae was mad at Ei for some reason.

For me Yae gives big Red Herring lol, I remember everyone thought she would betray us in the archon quest but she actually saved our lives against Raiden 😅

Yeah, I sort think that Cyno would be a red herring, cuz he did fight with Alhaitham in the game, but I really think he and Tighnari would sacrifice themselves not just for Collei but for Nahida as well, because she of course is the Dendro archon.

Diluc would be a Red Herring killer for sure. He would be framed, killed while evidence is being thrown on him, and that’s when other people sacrifice themselves to fight the real killer. (I could write an entire fanfic on this.)

Hot take kaeya is a spy for the killer but ends up telling diluc because feels guilty, diluc then proceeds to try and murder him however Jean intervenes. Kaeya the proceeds to join up with lumine or albedo or maybe childe and then they murder everyone

Headcannons The killer has a white van that says free candy Kiku Shinobu, tells the gang not to fall for it, she turns her back and for 1 second and when she looks back Itto is getting the rest of the gang into the van Keaya would definitely be a killer or on the killers side, but everyone thinks its Diluc because of how often he is sneaking around at night Xingsho and Choynyun would be working together the entire time and be super closed off from the rest of the group so no one would trust them untill the proved that the group could trust them No one even noticed that Qiqi was even there untill they saw her in the middle of killing someone but she still never got caught Thoma and Noelle both died because they trust everyone Sayu just hid in a closet and fell asleep, she survived the entire thing, but police still think that she was the killer

If there were a Genshin horror movie, i see Jean dying in the finale of either the first movie, or the last movie, or both. If this is Scream or Halloween, i see Jean trying her best to fend off Lisa from the killer, and even though Jean did well, she got backstabbed by Lisa, and was literally stabbed on the back. She either dies here, or in the end of the movie, Lisa was defeated and thought to be dead, Jean was seen on the stretcher getting carried away to the hospital, barely hanging on. And in the series, she keeps popping up, beating the killer, getting better at it, growing as a character. And here, i see 2 possible outcomes. The less likely one is that she snapped and became the killer at the final series, and everyone thinks Jean is on their side, but in reality, she had become what she hated and start stabbing and pushing people off the cliff into water. After it's revealed, Jean is about to kill Aether or Beidou, but only to get stopped by Lisa, who survived the first movie, and got help. In the end, Lisa and Jean died together Or Jean stays a hero and, on the end, Lisa returns as a killer, Jean and Lisa fought, and the ending is that both of them killed each other. In all scenario, i don't see Jean surviving the finale of the series. Eula is probably gonna be the suspicious character in the second movie, but was proven to be a good person. On the next movie, she and Amber had a family, Eula got very defensive and told everyone to protect each other. One day, the killers return, Eula was off to buy dinner when she got called by the killer, telling her that Amber is in trouble. Eula return home and just as she opened the door, the killer went out of the bush and stabbed Eula in the stomach, killing her in the day and somehow people didn't see it. The killer then broke into the house and killed Amber, either way, Eula only survives one movie. Ei probably would get betrayed by Yae, but return in the next movie and become a larger part of the cast.

I do not agree with Ningguang being the accomplice, she seems more like a person who would like to get involved in solving the case using logical explanations. Deducting who might be the culprit or seems odd like she has in her hangoutl. I think that because I think Ningguang would like to protect the traveler as she enjoys spending time with them.

With the fate that you assigned to Xingqiu I'd like to imagine a senerio where he wasn't even aware that a killer was loose and then the killer walks in and just kills him without Xingqiu even realizing that the killer's there. Orrrrr Xingqiu could be looking for books on famous murderers or something for clues but then get too invested in the book and then die

Ok head canon, the killer " kill's" Noelle but turns out she's alive and in the end of the movie Noelle pots out of nowhere and bonks the killer, killing him making her the hero of the story
