My Desert Dusk has dried up too!! Omg!! I've had it for 2 and a half years now, and I need to really make it work and use Fix+ for the shimmer shades. I feel better knowing that it wasn't just my palette 😅

My desert dusk palette got super dry. Like, the shadows are almost sandy. The color story is stunning but I can't use it now unfortunately

Mercury Retrograde is my fave Huda palette as well. Maybe not my most worn, but definitely my favorite in terms of color selection, texture variety, and quality. I would love to see updated Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona palette rankings!

Oh yes, my desert dusk palette dried out as well, especially the metallic shades, I don’t think i had it for over a year yet, only used a few times, very disappointed.

I agree with the desert dusk palette one of my favorite color stories and exterior packaging but mine dried out so fast and got rid of it. So sad!! I have some other high end brands that I have for more with no issues retro grade is my #1 too so unique!! Natasha denona next?? 💕💕

I agree her larger palettes do dry out quick like..My #1 Is the New Nude #2 Is the Nude 9 pan light ( for that shimmer pink/peach duo chrome which is my NUMBER one across the board shimmer out of all my palettes and I have alot...#3 is the Retrograde

I agree about the emerald palette, it's so hard to find so many different shades of green! I totally recommend that one and looks amazing with brown eyes :) I also love the khaki and the new gold palette

I only have one Huda palette, nude medium, and I love it!! I have more of a light skin tone but it still works great for me. So if anyone is eyeing it but they’re worried about it being too deep, I’ve found that the shadows are more buildable as opposed to instantly pigmented (like ABH for example) so it’s easier to work with.

Most of them are variations of pink/red/brown. I don't hate that as I love those tones however you definetely don't need to buy more than max a couple of them or else they start duping each other in your collection.

I just bought mine and I’m in love! It’s not particularly pigmented, but I actually appreciate that because my skin (nc20 on a good day) is lighter than this palette was designed for.

I have the three mini Nude Obsessions, the Topaz Obsession, and the Khaki Haze palettes. Now, I'm thinking I need the Emerald palette. I just can't seem to find the perfect green palette. Loved the swatches in this one.

I HATE the topaz obsession so much 😢the lightest orange shade just doesn’t show up on my skin even though Iv tried to graze the first layer off...it just doesn’t show up😭😭but it’s one of my favourite palette in terms of colour scheme

My dessert dusk has been dry from day 1. It’s a very finicky palette but I love the colour story. I have to use a tacky primer and use the topper and metallics with a dampened brush.

The formula of the dessert dusk is the worse. When I first got it it the mattes were super dry, and the pigment was barely there.

Hey Morgan, I only have 3 Huda palettes. I have one 9 pan & then I have the New Nude palette & I have Mercury Retrograde eyeshadow palette. And I really enjoy them. The 9 pan not to much. I wanted to get the Naughty Nudes but I’m not sure. The other day my neighbor said that I need to stop buying all this makeup & use more of the ones I have. It made me think and say I really don’t go outside much so I don’t even wear makeup like I use too. I feel like I’m losing interest in putting it on. But when I see what’s launching I want it. But anyway that’s a whole other story. I love the look you have on. I can’t wait to see what other brand ranking videos your going to do. I appreciate all the work you do to bring us these kind of videos.

I just am so frustrated with that dang Rose Quartz palette. The mattes, the regular shimmers are pretty decent - but those high shine duochrome shimmers were the reason I bought it in the first place, and they are the shadows giving me the worst trouble. Based on my experience with Rose Quartz, I wasn’t planning on buying anymore Huda palettes….but maybe I should?

Love The Mercury retrograde and rose gold remastered the most from her, but I think I only own seven of her palettes. Those two, plus the desert dusk, emerald obsessions, amethyst obsessions and the nudes in medium and rich. They are all good I think, but those two are my absolute favorites that I use most frequently.

Love ranking videos. I bought the mercury retrograde palette a few months back when it was on sale and really enjoy it. I always wanted one of the Nude Obsessions palettes. Then the Haze collection came out and I thought about getting it instead, but now I think I should stick with the medium Nude Obsessions. Sounds like I would enjoy it more.

Just giving my opinion here, but I definitely would! Desert Dusk shimmers are pretty but dry and therefore NEED a glitter glue - plus there's a pressed glitter too which I'm personally not a fan of. Naughty has beautiful CREAMY shimmers that are super smooth and reflective, and stick to the lid without a tacky primer! There's a bit wider of a color selection with Desert Dusk, so I suppose it depends too on what color story you feel the most drawn to. I personally find the Naughty palette looks the best with all skin tones, where as Desert Dusk definitely favors warm tones. Hope that helps! xx

I think it’s interesting that you really like Huda’s shadow line. You and I tend to have the exact same taste in shadows- I’m a loyal collector of Pat, Natasha, Viseart, etc... but I can’t stand Huda’s eyeshadow formula. Even the big palettes don’t work for me. The mattes are either dry or not pigmented enough and the shimmers just aren’t anything special to me. I wish I liked her formula because the shade durations are so stunning 😫

I appreciate your ranking video very much, I bought the Huda medium nude palette and every time I use it my look is faded and gone within a couple hours, for me there seems to be no longevity, the colors are beautiful they blend out perfectly but after 3 hours they're faded and almost completely gone. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm a makeup artist, I've used various primers, with & without powder, and different glues even to see if I can get the colors to stay. Have you had the same troubles? Has anyone else? Any tricks for me? I haven't had this experience with my other Huda palettes.

do you think that the drying out issue that the shadows have in the bigger palettes have to do with the formula itself or maybe the packaging? I've had the mercury retrograde palette for about a year and a half now, and it still feels so good. that being said, I don't have any of her other bigger palettes, but the mercury retrograde palette does have different, plastic packaging, and maybe it just seals the shadows a little bit better!

I was hoping that the Naughty nude palette would be inspired by the Smokey mini obsessions palette: cooler toned, no pink, no purple, more beige. So still along her nude vibe but a new take on it. I was so upset to see a repeat of what we've already seen from her. I get that the pastels were not popular BUT that was a formula issue more than a preference issue. She has so many warm nude palettes now, that she really needs to get more adventurous with the larger (better quality) palettes!!

I have the desert dusk and i have noticed too that the colors doesn’t look like when it was brand new, i have it since a year ago, it’s not that long but i really liked the mercury retrogade shade and now it looks like faded (? Like not that strong shimmer like at the begging :(

Some old collection like themes from color pop you can get from eBay sure you could get huda beauty pallets. :)

I feel the EXACT same about the Ruby obsessions palette! I got it to do a firey red look, and just kept getting hot pink. So now I never want to use it lol

I agree with the longevity of the larger palettes. I have both the desert dusk and the rose gold remastered. In the first one the mattes have become grainy and patchy and thr shimmers and toppers no longer have the shine and lister. In the remastered the “molten” shadows have dried out. Pink diamond is still perfect but rose gold and 2 other shadows have lost the creaminess.
