Ningning is still young, she can still develop her technique to an extend. Based on what I know, they(aespa) are still undergoing vocal lessons. Hopefully we'll see improvements soon
Her mix and hv isnt that bad, tho her lower register is just that well developed and effortless. Even the unsupported D3 in dreams come true suprised me. Her range is just so beautiful and wide overall 😍

The grace was such a talented group, I would love for a newer group to cover boomerang or even one more time okay. My everything the vocal runs at the end are EVERYTHING, To bad SM fucked them over, The Grace could have been everything and more.
csjh's case was mostly a series of unfortunate events Steph's back injury, and allegedly Dana-Steph's feud that makes them torn between two Dana-Sunday (though Sunday was okay with all of them) and Lina-Stephanie It saddened me during those 5 years of their active days, they only have 1 full album the only group I can think of who could pull off their song is mamamoo, if not then it's collaboration of girl groups main vocalists for their ballad song like my everything and 5 cm, or all rounders who have great vocal for song like one more time okay, dancer in the rain, girl talking, piranha
I can see that NingNing is truly inspired by Beyonce by how developed her lows is. But idk who is she inspired by her mix... Probably Selena Gomez maybe
Mostly ariana grande lol, or maybe other chinese singers she know. Im not generalizing but most chinese singers i hear use light coordination which made their sound light
Taeyeon is my fav singer of all time. Most of her songs are a style I just do not enjoy, but I love everything she releases because I just love her voice so much. She stands out to me for something she’s been praised for a lot: her ability to express emotion.
I would give Wendy an edge on lower register to Luna, since Wendy is consistent with F#3/G3 and can keep tone even down to E3. But anyway, great video. Hope you will do a vocal ranking of JYP I would love to see your opinions on them.
A JYP ranking would be interesting. Their vocalist are not so far one from another Jamie, Yerin, Lily, Haewon, Sunye are close (I'm not saying that they are interchangeable or something),Yeeun is not at the level of them but she is better than Jihyo, who certainly is better than Min who also is definitely stronger than Lia.
Ningning’s low is decent even compared to her legendary unnies! I am wondering why people do not give her above average even if she is the most developed in low register in 4th gen, although her mix is not as strong as others. Honestly, her mix is not bad though!!
@@hexagonalc5703 NN has a pretty clear Tone I believe she will have F3/F#3 in future cause like NN doesn't have a problem going down until Eb3s! hope SM gives NN more solo covers.

Bit of a weird ranking to be honest, Lina is definitely the strongest SM vocalist here, but if you're going to segment them into their registers. Dana from CSJH has by far the strongest lowest register. CSJH the Grace were acapella and did so much harmonizing. Lina's vocal ability is strongest for her ranges, but Dana is far stronger than any of them for lower registers. One of the best in K-pop groups as agreed and according to Kpop Vocal Analysis website
Ningning low is so outstanding for her age and vocal type. I can't imagine if she gets older and her voice gets much more weight and fullness. I think all the aespa members have good low registers so it could be like Ningning>Karina>Giselle>Winter
i wouldn’t say Lina is the most agile vocalist in SM Entertainment at all, unless you’re talking abt female only but for a moment it sounded like you were saying just in general. it’s kyungsoo if males are included
I don't agree that Bada and Wendy are on the same level on belting. And I don't hear any great chest development from Wendy. Bada is much more open, while Wendy has some serious issues with vowels and tensions. Other than that, great video!
Well that's why I'm more leaning towards Bada but Wendy has lil more chest and fullness but yes i still chose Bada tho just wasn't really sure or who's the clear winner
Also at 5:34, didn't you mention previously that Bada is a mixer?? I know she does belts but you've said that she mostly uses a mixing coordination. How would you equate mixing to belting if belting is essentially "better"??

give the ranking to whoever you feel deserves it but Taeyeon is still that Btch. She's the only soloist in SM I know to have reached 200M strems on YT, most wrded solist under SM, OST Kween, nd most of'll, sold out concert king.

@@allykelly For me the lambs and Whitney stans are toxic ( I say this as a fan of both ) . Celine fans are more chilled. I do agree with Mariah being last if you look at it from vocal technical point of view (She is still my favourite 😪 ). Mariah lacks consistency but on her best days I believe that she is better than Celine. IMO Celine is the most complete vocalist in the vocal trinity but Whitney was the better belter ,headvoice user, better dynamics , best resonance . Whitney was also the most consistent live performer in her prime. For me Prime Whitney > Prime Celine >= Prime Mariah ( Celine over Mariah for consistency, better headvoice and better low notes )

Wendy is so underrated, people only know best vocalists of SM such as Bada and Taeyeon and rarely talk about her. Even in her group, she is considered as the two least popular members despite of her amazing vocal. I hope they acknowledge her and respect for her talent someday
Luna is a dancer, she majored in dancing. SM scouted her because of her dancing skills. If we placed all-rounders, 1. Luna (main vocalist, main dancer hip hop, can rap, best stage performer, great musical actress, songwriter) 2. Wendy (main vocalist, best rapper in her group, good dancer 3. Ning Ning (main vocalist, dancing is average and can rap) 4. Bada (main vocalist, dancer, good musical actress) 5. Lina (main vocalist, dancer, good musical actress) 5. Taeyeon (main vocalist, an average dancer)
I'd say 1.Luna (obviously) 2. Bada (her raps are great especially in aespa cover + her dancing 3. Wendy (good vocal and rap) 4. ningning (decent vocal and good dancing) 5. Lina (great vocal)
@@allykellyif it’s an actual all rounder list I wouldn’t say taeyeon is above nn. Yeah taeyeon is a far better vocalist but taeyeon is an average idol dancer, I don’t think she ever rapped. NN is slightly above average dancer and can do an okay rap so i would say nn is more all rounded
@@allykelly yeah but Wendy is more consistent with support imo, NingNing can get a lil muffled below G3/G#3, not always but it can happen, Wendy has been very consistent down to F#3/G3 during her career, i dont think there is a big gap but just for the quality of support id rank Ning 2nd
@@liftedb9591 umm which performances when she get muffled only 1/2 performances her good F#3/G3s still outnumbers Her bad G3s ningning has Been having quite a lot of F#3s in savage and her English cover not to mention ningning has one Eb3 that sounds easy and clean Heck even Luna is more consistent than Wendy but Wendy support lower and a bit fuller at best

Im fine with his pronounciation its just that his volume is kinda low compared to the clips' volume💀i have to turn my volume up to the highest then suddenly one of them is belting and my ears are bleeding💀
