What I hate about Lila is the writers' failure to establish any real motivation behind her actions. She's got established character traits: she's cunning, manipulative, shows no remorse, and was able to fool absolutely everyone around her. But, I don't like that we didn't see any real motivation from her, even during the finale. I don't like that we still don't know why she's evil. We don't know anything about her goals or aspirations. She's part of three separate families who don't know about each other, which is a really interesting plot point that could lead to some compelling revelations. Yet, as it stands, Lila is only evil for the sake of being evil. Does she want money? Power? What are her reasons for doing all of this? I know she's supposed to be mysterious, but I'm not intrigued; I'm confused. I wish they had explored her more deeply. I wish I could be invested in her schemes, because I think there's a lot of potential, but I'm just not that interested in her story because I've been given no real reason to care. I hope that makes sense.
I LOVE natalie in season 5! The cute screen time she had with Adrien and the ways she starts rebelling against Gabriel. In season 5, ep 25 I think, Natalie stands up to Gabriel WITH A FREAKING CROSSBOW. OMGOMGOMGOMG.
Hearing Mariah say “but no he’s not” so many times in a row in the Felix section and then just putting a GIANT spooky picture of him in the whole teir list made me laugh so hard. This show’s writing quality is soooooo painful and all over the place. Thank you for brightening up my day even though you weren’t feeling good.
i love how we were saying that everybody in miraculous was blind but lila literally fooled all of us 💀 also lila is literally gonna be a HUGE part in season 6 like she already was but shes gonna be a bigger part. and plus shes in my top 10 of miraculous characters.
They did Felix dirty. They ruined him just like they ruined the show. Also why did they have to make Lila’s lair a literal basement that also stores her wig collection😂
I beg you Jeremy Zag, get Chloe Bourgeois back on the path to Good. Chloe deserves another chance to do good in future seasons as Queen Bee. We need to convince Jeremy Zag to take over from thomasastruc to fix and change Chloe Bourgeois' redemption! We have to help her
i would consider that blind ass woman ‘tsurugi san’ as a villain too like there were some major moments of hers in season 5 but ofc she’s just a dumb villain and id prolly rate her in the lowest tier
Let me explain about two characters. Felix, you have your right to hate him because he turns out to be a villain, then the next season, he's a good guy, but at the end of the season went back to villain by betrayed Ladybug to steal the Miraculouses and give them to Hawkmoth, and went back again to good guy in a next season. It's like, it's so hard to trust him. Senti or not. And as for Lie-la(Feloner which we will call her for now), the reason why everyone hates her is because she made almost all of people look like an idiots by believing her lies except for Marinette, Tiki, Plagg, and Adrian, she wouldn't leave Marinette alone, she wouldn't leave Adrian alone especially trying to use him to be more popular than anyone else, she's destroying lives, she never cares about anyone but herself... I can keep going on and on.
i think i would classify argos and flairmidable as two different villains as you did with miracle queen and Chloe. Because flairmidable and argos to me served two different purposes and one did a lot more. I think flairmidable was a lot better as a villain. Whether it was out of the other character’s stupidity or not, he did get all of the miraculous in one day and it was pretty cool and that was the only time I enjoyed his character tbh. Argos was just a dumb teenage boy having a tantrum moment imo.
Felix isn't a villain more of an anti-hero and Natalie's redemption made perfect sense she gave him the opportunity he'd been working for and he didn't take it. I wouldn't want to work with him afterwards either.
If Shadybug did count (since she was evil for a period of time) she would definitely be my favourite villain. She is so iconic, her look is everything, and accomplished more in one 49 minute special then Gabriel could do in 5 seasons. Also I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion but Shadybug’s design is 1000 times better then Ladybug’s. Why did they have to change it to the basic ponytails. She now literally a knock-off Ladybug in her new outfit😂
100% agree with you on Lila. I’m so obsessed with her character, more than Gabriel. She’s both evil and pretty and I love it. I thought she would be the perfect choice to be the next villain holder of the Butterfly Miraculous. I hope in Season 6 we start to get in more depth with her character, along with making her more intimidating than before, I also hope the design of her Butterfly Miraculous suit will look amazing.
People Hate Lila because they're unable to separate that a bad person doesn't equal a bad character. Though this being said, she's the best of the worst. She's so shady, but we don't know anything about her, and we really need to.
I don't dislike Lila bc she's evil (I love villains lol). I hate her sometimes bc she says the stupidest lies. Miraculous makes 0 sense half the time so like sure?? She does have her moments tho :D (I do think she's the best villain in miraculous but that's bc miraculous villains suck in general 😭)
As a Lila hater I can explain The reason is that her lies are so stupid to the point that everyone around her has become a toddler to believe her Like how did Alya believe her instantly when she said she knew ladybug personally but Marinette and ADRIEN when they told her that Lila is a bad person She has her good moments and she's a lot better in season 5 but she's terrible in every other season Also her motive is stupid like she despises ladybug because she exposed her lies to Adrien I hope we just get better motivations and lies from her

I feel meh about lila. She feels like she has a bunch load of plot armor... and 20 disguises and moms for some reason and only a few select people can see the lies everyone else is like '"Oh gosh thats not true you're lying" it just feels ._. Wrong? Idk Edit: also great vid
The reason most ppl hate Lila (or why me and my friends hate Lila) is bc she is so annoying I hate liars sm. Like when she tells a lie and everyone is sooo blind and can’t even see that she is lying. And when Ayla didn’t see and thought dumb reasons why Marinette hates Lila makes my blood boil (but this is mostly my opinion)
I wouldn't say Nathalie's was a switch up I mean it makes sense since she practically admired him for his dedication towards his wife to an unhealthy degree (if stormy weather II is still canon) so I would find it understandable why she would be so angry at him after she gave him the opportunity on a silver platter :') he could have fixed everything so everything would have been perfect; without them ever becoming villains. I would have been furious in that situation too. And I like that to solidify it all Gabriel shows the cataclysm really sinking in that they absolutely failed Emilie. I find that an interesting motivation for her to start to focus on trying to be there for Adrien. That's just me though.
As a Lila hater I hate Lila because her lies are ridiculous and whenever she’s on screen every character has to be extremely dumbed down to fall for her lies. I hate her because she has no backstory or reasons and she’s just evil for no known reason. I also hate her voice (but you can ignore that one) I also hate her because she’s barely even in the show. She appears in season one finale then comes back in the season two finale then is in like three episodes of season 3 and she really only starts getting important in season 4-5. She’s loved by everyone in the show for no reason and the show acts as if she has her own powers of manipulation when all she says is stupid lies. And her motives to ruin Marinette’s life doesn’t even make sense. It wasn’t like ladybug where she embarrassed her in front of Adrien, it was something small like calling her a liar or trying to take Adrien away from her or smth like that. Most villains should want to make people see them be defeated, but for a lot of people we just don’t even want her on screen bc of how unbearable her plot armor is. Honestly I think that she’s just a poorly written character with great potential to be a really good villain. She’s like a reversed Mary Sue without the tragic backstory. Loved the vid tho.
I feel like people hate lila bc of her lies and how she can often get away with them. Like, imagine being marinette and knowing that almost EVERYTHING lila says is a lie but everyone believes her. I’m not delusional. But Felix at least cared about sentibeings. Plus Duusu is happier with Felix. So in my opinion. He’s better. Since he didn’t use the miraculous carelessly. Unlike Natalie who killed sentimonsters constantly!
Felix is the best Character and he is the best and smartest villian in miraculous Like he is the only character that is SMART the Rest is just dumb except lila she is smart too
I think people hate on Lila for one reason and one reason only. That reason being that she bullied Marinette, and blamed her for things she didn’t do. Like stealing her fox pendent, which was all Lila’s doing. Marinette got expelled, because of Lila, and got akumatized a few minutes later. If it wasn’t for Nathalie coughing, Scarlet Moth wouldn’t have been distracted and de-transformed, and Marinette would’ve revealed her identity as Ladybug.
I would like to comment about your view of Lila being smart. In the show, she's presented in a way that makes you feel like she this super smart, cunning and manipulative girlboss, but if you think about it, her lies only work because of her innate superpower to make the people around her 100 times dumber. Take Alya for example. Alya literally knows that Marinette is Ladybug yet she still believes every word that comes out of Lila's mouth instead of siding with Marinette, her 'best friend'. The thing about Lila is that none of her lies have any proof. Everyone just takes her words at face value. She says she's besties with celebrities, but no one ever bothers to talk to said celebrities, no one even asks her to prove it by calling them or showing a photo of them together. She says she's acted and modelled before, but her face has never shown up in any movie or magazine or anything like that. Lila's lies are all completely nonsensical and ridiculous without any semblance of evidence to back it up, but everyone just eats her words up because P L O T. Therefore, Lila's lies don't work because Lila is smart. They work because everyone else has the same amount of brain cells as a broken brick. Moral of the story: Miraculous is a dumb show full of dumb characters. Some are just a little less dumb than others.
I personally love Lila; she might be in my top 5 fav characters if not top 3. However, my friend doesn't like her because she is quote unquote annoying.

Like felix or nathalie (nathalie since she willingy wanted to get akumatized and worked with gabriel/hawkmoth and used the peacock Miraculous for evil and felix is a villain since he literally snapped everyone into a red moon and was just very weird but now the show is kind of redeeming him?? That dude just keeps switching back ☠️ but I say "redeemed" because hes with us in the group of heroes
I would say the most likely way Lila figured out Hawkmoth's identity was by seeing it during Hero's Day. She was still at the Eiffel Tower when she got deakumatizsd, and Gabriel detreansformed not long after, so it is possible that she simply spotted that. I don't think it would make sense for her to be able to figure out he's hawkmoth based on her intelligence alone since she never figured out Marinette's identity despite Ladybug always appearing out in public and Lila always sees Marinette in school.
Gabriel, to me, is not very funny. The ONLY time it happened was in Gigantitan episode. The fact he couldn't controled a baby was hilarious, i really liked that episode 😂I don't remember any other moments when the adult did something silly| funny. He is more scary and cruel. The man puts his son in a white room with no windows, forced him to go to London, prevent him from seeing his friends AND was never there for him during years. This is so sad! Adrien is happier without his terrible father. At least, Nathalie is there and she cares about his safety. She also gives him freedom and personal space. This lady is a better parent than Gabriel for sure!
Lila and chloe are the same basically they started by making lila hate ladybug but then they switched and made her hate marinette and they started by making chloe hate marinette but then she hated ladybug they fumbled with chloe BAD she started out bulying everyone but then they showed how her relationship with people could make her a better person her friendship with adrien made her want to be a better person, her love for ladybug made her want to be like her, and her time as queen bee made her worty of the miraculous fun fact she was the first person to break free from akumatization and thats because she put her faith in ladybug but then they threw her character development out the window so she can be a villain again because "thats her character"

The reason nathalie goes against hawkie is because during evolution he kinda chooses not to change the entire course of time which would save nathalie and him and emilie and he doesn't because he falls for ladybugs trap then nathalie pops off and she goes YOU COULD'VE CHOSE TO SAVE ME YOU COULD'VE CHOSE TO SAVE EMILY YOUR INSANE so like she ate that up and then she rebels against hawkie the rest of the season

i feel like Nathalie didn't actually wanted to be a villain and she prob did it for Gabriel to support him or bc she had feelings for him and stuff but it changed after she realized he was just getting crazy over the miraculous and prob regretted using the peacock miraculous. She was more of a nice person than a villain so i wouldn't actually consider her as one prob since she was the only one who actually took care of Adrien and was nice to him in the agrest family after Emilie's death or wtv.
I loved season 5 it was so interesting some people say that it started of shithouse in season three and got worse later but I actually liked LILA’S character in this one I wish that the writers fleshed out LILA’S character and motive a bit more
I love Nathalie, and she will always be my favourite character, but WOW was she underutilised. Didn't ever get to be a real villain, then got a random redemption arc. The real villain is the writing.
