Hi Darian - congratulations upon your fragrance releases. And the P. D. M. are all very good too. I've been checking out Acqua Di Parma of late. But the ones in the dark brown bottles - the performance line, have a look you might like the Oud and the Oud and Spice also the Leather is very good too. After smelling them - I thought twice about buying Creeds Royal Oud. Or their Royal Mayfair.

Loved the clip as PDM is my favourite Niche house. My #1 is Herod as nothing beats Tobacco for the prestige house. A little surprised to see that the newbie Haltane didn't make the cut!

Not sure about when you wrote this and while herod is pretty nice I don't think it's their best and certainly not their most niche fragrance. It's also as of me writing this comment as well as some time prior, INSANELY weak, like even putting my nose right on where I sprayed it, it's difficult to smell. No projection and what the point is longevity when you can't smell SHIT. Such a shame for a fragrance that is very nice too.

Hey Darian. Could not agree more on this list. A lot of reviewers raving about Sedley being so amazing. I was going to blind buy but got a sample first and so glad i didn’t drop the $200+ on a full bottle. It’s very good. I enjoyed it. But didn’t absolutely love it enough spend the cash they want for a bottle. Layton and Herod my favorite and Darley is so very underrated. Really like your reviews. Thank you.

Oajan has to my #1 as a newbie in the fragrance world PDM has to be my fav house tbh, it’s incredible how high quality and complex their fragrances are.

Yeah, i got a bunch from PDM. Oajan, Carlisle, Percival, Herod, Sedley and Pegasus Exclusif, but i would say that Oajan and Herod is my favourites. Oajan is a beast mode gourmant, and Herod is a lovely tobacco scent.

You are very evidently a newbie if PDM is complex to you. They aren't very niche for a "niche" brand. Their scents aren't bad, but they definitely are not that complex, with the exception of a few like Kalan, which is also their most niche and one of their more polarizing scents, probably one of if not my favorites from them.

Great video! I must say that both the house of CREED and the house of PDM are my favorites hands down! No need for me to go anywhere else with all of the wonderful fragrance and scent selections between the two. They got me covered for Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall. And because of the price range; I never have to worry about any of the cats in my circles showing up and smelling like me. 😎

Bravo! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Personally, my all time favorite of the house is Hamdani, but I'm a different person. My favorite gourmand of the house is: Oajan. Extremely opulent and rich and beautiful. But a lot of them can be tagged with those adjectives. Again, good job! Keep em crankin!

Greenley is my favorite and go to PDM fragrance, I personally love it as my gym fragrance as its fresh and green applely obviously its unique and different. It stands out, but Is not over the top or in your face, but enough projection where I feel confident and others notice but don't get choked out.

PDM Darly is probably the most slept on fragrance of this house. Absolutely stunning! This house ceases to amaze me. Every time I go into Neimann Marcus, I have to smell Oajan. Oh........ my....... goodness! It should get more hype in my opinion.

@@MrErnestangelo Definitely not, the tobacco is so tame it's more like a sweet slightly spicy fragrance, spicebomb xtreme is the superior scent in everyway. As of the time of me writing this comment and sometime before as well, herod is INSANELY weak, as in it's difficult to smell even when you put your nose over multiple sprays, IT'S THAT BAD.

Marly has been my “go to” niche house for over a year now. My favorite is Percival, closely followed by Herod and then Layton. I also own and like Sedley, Carlisle and Oajan. I see some people call them a controversial house, can’t imagine why.

I'm a pretty new fragrance collector any my best so far are Dior elixir/ TF Tuscan leather and PDM Herod which was a blind buy but liked what I was hearing about it. It came with a Layton and a kalan sample. and thought I made the right choice upon smelling all 3 for the first time. But only until I let them dry down for a while an boy did I make a big mistake. the earthiness and dry sweetness that started to happen with KALAN blew my fuckin mind i literally haven't got the words to describe how unbelievably amazing it becomes when you leave it to do it's thing

Beautiful collection. BBB described the PDM house as one of those "gotta catch em all" houses and I'm inclined to agree. I believe I've reached a stage where I've found and become a fan of certain brands and I find myself just coming back to those houses and deep diving. Videos like this confirm that might just be a good idea.

Absolutely love Haltane even though a lot of people have compared it to Initio’s Oud for Greatness. IMHO Haltane is fresher, brighter and more versatile

Sedley is pretty bad to me, it's soapy nature reminds me creeds green irish tweed, which I do not like in the slightest. It isn't offensive but it's not something I at all care for. Try Kalan, IMO their most niche scent from a not very niche brand that is advertised as niche. Oajan to me just smells like cinnamon apple pie, it smells good but just not something I would give thought to ever wearing.

My big problem with perceival when debating to buy that or Sedley was that it smells wayyyy to much like other fragrances like you said. For example I had creed aventus. Went out on a date with a girl and she said I smelled like someone familiar and then I said who and she said her ex and that was the last time I wore that. I own Sedley, layton, and kalan because they are unique and rare that another dude is wearing it. They aren’t super popular (which I like) in the sense of main stream like “savauge, D&G the one, aqua di gio”

I don't get much caramel or apple in habdan. I mostly get incense, saffron, and rose. It's quite dark to my nose, not much sweetness.

Hmm i have Percival Pegasus and Haltane. And id rate all of them ahead of Layton or Carlisle. Each time i purchase them. I tried Layton and Carlisle alongside.. And i now only buy fragrances that give instant wow reaction. Layton and Carlisle are nice very much so but not wow.

I enjoy Greenley. I wish the performance was better. That's the reason I don't wear it more. It doesn't have the performance of other fragrances from that house. Also, Darley and Akastar are in my top 6 when I rank my PDM fragrances.

I have a bunch of PDM and Greenley is by far my favorite. It is a beastmode scent that literally lasts all day and I live in Texas. It is my most complimented scent and I have over 50 now.

A lot of reviews skip it because of it’s similarities to Tuscan leather which i find goldolphin to be a tab bit better but slightly redundant if you own or like TF Tuscan leather

My Top 5 #1 will always be "Layton" its one of my first niche and it's just so damn good I mean Women love it. @ an surprisingly 2nd is "Haltane" I blind bought it last month cause the comparisons to "Oud For Greatness" and now I'm not even concerned with OFG. I wore it to Essence Fest and it was a room rocker 15+ compliments in one night but it was by committee... like one person would say they like it then everyone with them would agree, and alot of them was unsolicited men and women. #3 is "Oajan" some ppl have confused it with "Tobacco Vanille" when I wore it, but I prefer Oajan cause it's smoother in my opinion and delicious. #4 "Greenley" it's so unique in its own right and easy to wear one of my dump reach.. I just go nose blind to it fast I've gotten compliments with it 6 hours later and I've stop detected it after 3 hour. #5 "Pegasus" now surprisingly I've never gotten a compliment with it, but I love the soft scent of almonds it's my other dumb reach as well as "Darley" but I only have nine PDM's and that's my least favorite but, like Bowtie I've worn and received more compliments with "Darley" then some of my favorites... PDM is my favorite house as of now I feel it's a solid house with wearable long lasting fragrances. I like to smell good not just have popular scents or creative scents... that you can wear inside or to Frag-Com events cause everybody else a feel I'm stinky 😂😂

I sampled the new Haltane at Neimann Marcus last month and it was soooo good. But, I am not trying to pay $395 for a bottle. Hopefully it will hit discounters soon.
