its so wild that NONE of my top 5 of 2018 were included. it really shows the absolute range of 2018 and how much hip hop was put out in that year. truly one of the best for hip hop

You guys have to stop majorly judging an album with this "skips" argument. Classic albums like Ready To Die or Doggstyle have some skips and it don't really matter at the end of the day 'cause the highs and the overall perfomances are incredible and it's the same for albums like DAMN.
Its crazy that (to me) its his best and yet it still isnt great. Last strike was always underrated to me. Putting it over tmb and the lost boy is Wild tho

Y'all are showing you've not listened to Take Care. It changed the whole industry and is far better lyrically, though Igor isn't a rap album ofc. It also has better singing performances with things like Marvin's Room, Doing it Wrong, Abel on Crew Love, etc.
@mandem2362 I will admit it's been YEARS since I've listened to it. So I revisited the album. And my opinion is still Igor over Take Care. I think one of the biggest strengths of TC was Drakes rapping as his singing, I've never found to be impressive. More a skill that supplements him. I wouldn't say the writing is better. It's nice but for how long the project is, there isn't a lot to gleam from all that we're given. Which flows into my next thought, that Take Care is way too long for what it is. There's a lot of fat that could be trimmed for a better album. Igor offers a more layered theme with less, from the production to the lyrics. Having said that, I was surprised how much I was enjoying Take Care and it was a pleasant return to an album that feels like forever ago. I just can't put it over Igor
everyone saying take care not better than damn or igor - fire rap songs - fire bars - fire r&b tracks - fire features like kendrick, the weeknd, nicki minaj, rihanna it is a timeless album and so well polished
people that think Take Care isnt better than Damn definitely started listening to music post 2014. Take Care’s influence was far greater and every song on there is timeless.
Take care over Igor and Damn is pretty crazy. Take care only have half an album that is good: marvins Room, Make Me Proud, Lord Knows, the Real Her, the motto, HYFR, and under ground Kings

KOD imo is so underrated it’s such a great album and so different from his other projects i love the themes in it and the production and sounds he creates in that project i just don’t know why people hate on it or don’t even give it credit maybe it needs more time

Take care is a timeless album with crazy features like The Weeknd, Rihanna , Lil Wayne etc. It's the second best album of drake(behind NWTS) It's way better than D.A.M.N but IGOR is the same level imo

facts. The dynamics on the entire album just works alot & we're getting insane moments from the rap/vocal part of the group especially with Kevin, Joba, Ameer & Dom being the major highlights. The production from HK & Jabari is amazing overall. The entire trilogy & subsequent albums after that bang alot. BROCKHAMPTON really deserved a better final album though.
@@sk8hd53it was unique for sure. I dont think they will. Some unreleased songs have been taken by Dre & Dave East and Big Sean as well. He has some good unreleased stuff with bino too but not enough for an album.
