My big sis passed of cancer 2 years to go today. We both loved Kev and got to see him in FL. Our last vid together was us climbing the Rocky steps. I just watched it and cried and I get on YT and here is Kev talking about Rocky 💜☺️ Camille I miss you. Imma tell people Kev did this for us!
I swear our loved ones find ways to let us know they’re close by even though we can’t see them. Lost my dad to pancreatic cancer and I miss him every day. 🩷 💜
I'm glad to know that cause I was thinking they so racist to award an Oscar for her playing a bad stereotype and despite how amazing Whoopi was in The Color Purple, I didn't think she fit the role (nor played it well) of Anna Mae (I think that was the name) in Ghost.
Obviously Ivan Drago is #1. He beat Apollo Creed to death in front of his best friend, his trainer/father figure, his momma, his wife and children. Then when asked about Apollo's health post fight (whilst still IN THE RING standing over Apollo fighting for his life) he said the coldest shit I ever heard: "If he dies, he dies." Cold-blooded.
I’m going with Drago for #1 and not just because of him killing Apollo but because in Creed II we see the effects he’s had on his ex-wife and son by being so obsessive!
He didn't have any effect on his ex-wife. She left him because he was a "loser", and was no mother to her son because of that. Drago pushed his son because he didn't want him to be a failure, but he was man enough to not want to see him used the same way that he had been.
I'll never understand how Rocky still kept Paulie around for all them years, especially after he messed up and lost all Rocky money! I know he was his homie and his ladies' brother, but after that Paulie needed all the hands laid on him and to be kicked out the family forever, I'm literally risking my life boxing and chasing CTE and you cost me everything!
Nothing rocky has ever exhibited in any of the films would lead you to believe that he would turn his back on his friend. Paulie was a trash individual, but rocky knew that and accepted that about him.
I am Kev's age and my brother is right around Tony's. We used to have the same exact debate about "Dumb and Dumber" and "There's Something About Mary"😂
My wife watched it for the first time last month and she was like "Whoa" on the Adrian and Rocky kiss scene. lol -Eye of The Tiger is heard first in Rocky III when Rocky and Clubber Lang have their montage of whoopin different people at the beginning of the movie and at the end when Rocky and Apollo fight in the closed gym at the end
Oh my heart skipped a beat when they annouced Carl Weathers passed this year, I love the Rocky Franchise and now the Creed Franchise but babbby Carl Weathers Im like Tony I was almost rooting for Apollo Creed...lol okay I was ...anyway as an actor he was so good in so many things but I never laughed so hard when he was a guest on the tv series Psych he and actor William Devane were these retired hard nose old school cops and they help or go against Shawn and Gus to solve a murder case ...if you havent seen it look it up you wont be disappointed. But yes love me some Sly Stallone...my first movie date with my now husband was I asked to go see Rocky IV...yes I introduce the hubby to the Rocky Franchise lol got my Complete DVD set on the bookshelf now! Yall gonna make me have a marathon this weekend!
