afaik, ScottFalco's mascot, CC, was actually originally FROM Splatoon- in a way. He dressed up his Inkling in a certain way (feat. the schoolgirl outfit) and the character developed from there. So if anything, the character SHOULD be in Splatoon also, Reigen and Sans is a reference to a series of polls to figure out who the Ultimate Tumblr Sexyman was, and the final battle was Reigen vs Sans. The "why must we fight?" is a meme of them making out because most drew them fighting lmao. Sans won btw.

Ink the base over time. The first couple games i played, a few of them i lost because the spawn area was almost completely void of ink. I personally will ink base till I'm close to having my special, so i can use it in an encounter if i need it. Then if i die, i ink base some more to get more special charge.

My friend was talking about the high numbers of furry art on Splatoon 3. I thought maybe he was exaggerating. Apparently not, because I've been seeing it all over the place. I'm okay mild furry art as long as it isn't too much cleavage, butt, and well muscles and abs everywhere. Like that Callie art you've shown. While yeah every character is technically anthropomorphic, there are more artistic choices I prefer than flat out questionable art posts.

The issue about inking the base is that new players aren't trying to ink their base at all, which leaves you as the only one... Literally had a match where I had to superjump back to spawn twice because people weren't inking base and I had to get every side myself. and, well. There's also specifics to it. See, if you're in the middle of a battle and two of you go back to ink the base, then that leaves the other team in a more optimal position to push, especially if their base is already inked. Which then leaves you with a two vs four, which lets the other team though. It's a bit of a gamble. In my opinion, the optimal route is that two people will stay back to ink the base, one person for left and another for right, while the other two push for middle, inking turf before the other team can. People should be more focused on inking turf at the beginning than killing. Then, if the two were quick enough about it, you'll be able to have all four players in the center by the time the battle really kicks up.

To answer your question about why Sans is kissing anime boys: On Twitter ~2 weeks ago, there was a Tumblr Sexyman tournament. Reigen v. Sans was the finals, and Sans won. It became so big that people drew fan/ship art, and Toby Fox even came out and wrote fanfiction for it. I think the other anime boys Sans is kissing are also part of that tournament. The Komaeda you put in the example definitely was, but I don't remember if he went up against Sans.

You see the problem with not inking your base is that if someone won’t do it on their second time going to mid ground then they won’t do it the 3rd time and then you lose because half of your territory is not inked

For inking the base, atleast for me, is whenever im in a team NOBODY inks ANYTHING and immediately makes a b-line for the enemy base meaning that they only splat people and i have to spend the entire round just trying to ink anything

I will say this, it's important to ink the base asap if your weapon is something like a roller that can cover a lot of ground really quick. (I say this, but as someone who primarily uses pistol/dualies, inking the base somehow always falls to me.) Otherwise yeah, fill in the gaps after respawning.

I feel like a good team in splatoon is a balanced one, like 1-2 people stay to ink the base depending on the stage and 3-4 people ink the mid ground and protect the base that is being filled with ink
