This is a very solid list. You can make a case for number one for the top two, and I would go as far as list them 1a and 1b. It is preseason so we need a few weeks to watch things play out but overall, no disagreements with your list.
I cannot wrap my head around why everyone is so high on Ohio State....same team that lost to Mizzou plus portal transfers Judkins, Downs, Howard....these 3 players are not going to transform them into the #2 team
I am an Ohio State fan. I really like James Franklin at PSU. He has to recruit in the midst of Ohio State and TTUN. Even in that situation, he manages to field good teams every year. The issue is not James Franklin. The issue is where PSU is located.
Because there has to be a reason to always have these legacy teams as the only 5 teams that can win it all. That said Ohio St. looks great on paper and will probably be at least top 4. I'd be way more confident about them "succeeding" this year instead of Oregon who could easily have 3 losses.
Ohio State opened as a touchdown favorite. All the opt-outs made Missouri a 3 point favorite by kickoff. Nonetheless it's still a great win for Missouri.
Failed to mention receivers Morris and Morgan for Michigan. Tuttle will finally get a chance at quarterback, he's the most experienced with 21 games under his belt. He would have been a starter except he had the bad luck of being on teams with future top ten NFL picks Pennix and McCarthy. I'd put Michigan at three or four, their defense will be just as good or better according to several at ESPN.
@@DavyBaby3000 He's big and a proven runner, if he can throw decently, he could be a starter. Just thinking about other teams trying to stop the run with Orji, Robinson and the other great backs Michigan has that will finally be getting a chance to play this year. Good luck with that!

I agree, they’re coming off last season, with some great new transfers coming in. If they can run the ball, and take care of the line of scrimmage they’ll surprise a lot of people. I think they’re hungry.

I would argue nobody "sleep" on Alabama any year. they will be a top 10 team (espn has them at 9) but without King Saban and a new coach taking over the team will have some rebuilding to do. And #1 Georgia is the King of the conference now
