Salah is a winger and has been the best in the league for a long time now. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise

When this season is over, Salah will have played as many seasons for LFC as Henry did for Arsenal, and stat wise they are very similar. Salah 1 Prem and Henry 2 Prems, but when you add in the success in Europe + the great seasons (97 points and 92 points) that would’ve won the Prem in any other era, you can say that they ATLEAST accomplished as much as eachother on club level. Salah better stats in Europe than Henry too. My point is: if Henry is nailed on best ever Prem player (I agree he is) then saying Salah is «Maybe top 5 or 6 wingers» is a ludacris take. Salah is a two time PFA POTY, 3x Golden Boot winner and playmaker award winners who’s performed every single season in PL and CL; put some well deserved respect on his name! He will enter the top 10 all time Prem topscorer list when he scores his next goal!!! And he is also close to having the best record against the «big 6» in the history of the Prem. Only opposition player to score a hattrick at old trafford, that’s LEGACY. And in terms of strictly PL legacy, I believe he has the best one, fairly comfortably, out of any winger. And also: Buvey… City won the «covid title» (20/21), not Liverpool. LFC had 82 points when yhe covid break hit, and City ended on 81, so if anything LFC had the 19/20 PL title done before covid. It was won with 7 matches to go (PL record) and at the time of the break, LFC were 25 points ahead of City (biggest gap between two teams next to eachother in the history of the PL table). Record before break was 27-1-1, record after was 5-2-2, so I atleast can confidently say that LFC would’ve reached over 100 points if it wasn’t for the unpresedented circumstances. Saying that title win was nothing special is just plain wrong.

Grealish has had three decent months in three seasons. The only one who knew the assignment was Nieve.

The disgrace to Raheem Sterling is unbelievable. Taking Palmer ahead of Sterling is a disgrace. Palmer is lower version of Foden. Sterling is a world beater on his day.

Buvey talking about Salah not being the best winger in premier league history is farcical. His first season he came to Liverpool he broke the record for goals scored in a 38 game season. He's won the golden boot in at least 4 of his 7 seasons with Liverpool and is the most consistent player in the league over that period of time. The whole "1 premier league" doesn't hold any weight as it's a team playing against a state funded club who have 115 charges against them. Salah is clear as the best winger the league has seen.

It's pretty insane that Anthony Gordon wasn't even given a shout here, not even having him on the table is criminal. On current form, he's got to be in the top 10 surely. His combined goals and assists are higher than every player in their top 10 except for Salah and Saka. I wouldn't have Gordon top 5 necessarily but I'd put him around 6th (and take Grealish out to keep Neto on the list (who imo should be much higher).

Rare miss from Buvey on Sterling... if you've watched Chelsea this season, you know he's been their only consistent attacker all season. If he had a prolific striker in the middle his achievements this year would be far more acknowledged

Gordon! Should be on the list IMO. He’s better than Sterling and Grealish this season undoubtedly. He’s only 22, 8 goal contributions this season already, and his work rate is insane. He’s shaken off the temperament like Rooney did. He will be on this list in the next few years watch.

Rashford only scored 30 goals last season because the numbers were topped up by the cup competitions which are hit and miss in terms of “quality opposition”. Remember when Torres scored 20 goals in a season for Chelsea but they were basically all in the cup competitions and he was branded a flop

I think Saka is great, but Son is definitely number two on that list. I'd even say as a pure winger I rate him more than Salah, but Salah is better at arriving to score the goals while Son will try to find teammates more (though both are good at the other part too).
