HI LOVES. So, since I filmed this video, I have indeed finished reading Tress….. and Mistborn is for sure the better book for me hehe. Sorry for the switch up! 😂 this is why we need to finish books before commenting on them lol oops Hope you all are having a lovely weekend! ❤
I`ve read almost all of the Jane Auste`s books and i`d recommend you to try again. I loved her books some time ago (it`s just an easy reading light books with good endings, but sometimes we all need these). Pride and prejudice is also one of my least favorites of her, but i remember really liking Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion and Mansfield Park Also as always thank you for the new video!
I think my issue with it was they kept addressing everyone by their last names. And I couldn’t keep track of who was talking to who, because in the family scenes- they all had the same last name 😂 so I was frustrated at that
I liked this one. I thought you were going to try out books from people’s favorite authors when you did the poll. It would be fun to see a video like this but doing your thoughts on movie/tv adaption vs book. Also, funny to see how your thoughts have changed about Tress since you finished the book. I love Jane Austen but I can’t sit and read her books, I have to listen to them. It helps me hear the humor more. She is so witty!
I actually reaallly liked the "Love Hypothesis" I dont know maybe the vibe or something else I binged that book and gave it solid 5 stars, and after reading that I ordered almost every book from her (exept check n mate and bride) I reaaalllyy loved her writing style cause its so silly and bingebale. And the fact that she is familiar with science world, as a master student I can see myself in the some part of the world that she wrote about so yeah, maybe its something personal idk.
Interesting video. The author I have read the most from is Yasmine Galenorn. She did a series called The Otherworld Sisters of the Moon series. It was 21 books long plus some short stories. I couldn't actually pick out one of the books as best or one as worst because there are so many
Ok maybe unpopular opinion but I think one reason so many people stan Jane Austen is for the nostalgia factor of when they were younger and read her for the first time. I read P&P for the first time as an adult, and it just wasn’t hitting for me.
Dawn Brown is forever my favorite though right now I'm more into fantasy and Throne of Glass has my heart 😅 Find a bit funny how you don't like smut but Acotar series is quite heavy 😂
I need to give VE Schwab another chance cause I've only read Addie LaRue and at this point it's on sight for that author. I thought the concept for that story was good, but the execution was so poorly done that it's resulted in years long beef. Like I read it over two years ago and I still feel angry when I think about it 😂 I also haven't met too many people who are on team "Addie is a bad book" so I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't care about the stakes of any of the characters, especially Henry (or Harry, whatever his name was). The only reason it survived my donation book purge is cause it's pretty on my shelf, but it's easily the worst book I've ever trusted tiktok on 😂 (in my opinion of course)
haha I loved addie larue, but her darker shades of magic world is miles better for me. I'd say give it a try! The magic system and world are one of my favs.
This video is such a fun concept! Also really loved how you edited all the bookcovers 😍 My favorite author is Sarah J Maas but I dont want to pick my favorite 😂😂
