I got it with the Hzrdus black. Then, I couldn't help myself n got a Ventus black after. Lol. Will from the Peoples Club hooked it up. If you need anything, hit him up and tell him I sent ya. 💸 🍻
This is a disgrace for all your cobra fans out there.. good thing is I’m still beating both my buddies every single week with my LTDx LS and they spent a shit load of money on the weak ass Stealth 2+ 😂 If you want to go far and straight go with cobra, if you drink budlight and use the corniest golf saying ever go Fargiveness..
Great video. I think this video highlights the fact that you need to test different drivers, then get fitted. The 💎💎💎 for me was the best driver I’ve used, well pretty much ever. Hope you find a gamer you love and works as well!
Have the Wilson 4 hybrid in the bag. The 3 wood is in the mail. These things hit incredible. Friends go, "Wilson? Why would you play Wilson?". After you hit it and tell them how much you paid, they will get it. BTW....golf Spy rated best fairwoods for 2023. Care to guess who came in at #1? Wilson Dynapower. Boom!
Stitched up the paradym a bit, the triple diamond would be easily the least forgiving of all tested. Iit’s basically designed for tour pros. Put the standard paradym in the hands of the average player and I’d be shocked if it’s not top 5.
Cut into a taylormade stealth and you know what it had no special bridge insert, 70% plastic, people are getting ripped off, most driver's that pros use are definitely not from the store, so watch out, my taylormade M2 2016 goes just as far and as forgiving as the stealth, buyer beware save your money and stick with what you have, the only difference it the face of most new so called top of the range driver's, to be honest most of these videos are just the users opinions, (this driver compared to that driver reviews are just personal preference) 2016 compared to 2024 not much has changed in shape and feel. Sorry to be slightly negative but player A preference might be cobra and player B preference titlist and so on, so opinions are very different and when people don't get to try 100 drivers, how do us normal golfers get to try numerous brands, so reviews are so controversial and somewhat not reality to the average golfer. I know someone who worked in a certain brand and the materials for the completed head what £40 shocking
I used to think the original SIM was the best driver I had ever played…Stealth 2+ finally beat it out…ironically, I did the exact same thing with my stealth 2+ that you did….went with white accent and blacked out the face and top with the matte finish, best driver I have ever played by far!
It did. There was a bunch of ppl saying to count all the data so I went back and added all the hits for all the sessions. Both great drivers. I had both in play.
I can’t believe you didn’t even consider the new Krank. Everyone leaves it out but it’s literally the longest and most forgiving driver out. For a fraction of these costs.
4:49 The PING G430 is still one of the worst sounding drivers. PING has stated they changed the sound but it still sounds like a CLANG and it high pitched. The sound might be shorter in duration but it's still offensively loud. Frankly embarrassing to hit. My single digit buddies happened to be at the range when our club had an outdoor tent PING demo day and we gave it a hefty workout with an array of shafts including the Tour 65-X "Black" and Kali white 75-X. Not a chance any of us would play this. The LST was slightly better but still clangy....And the 3w is equally bad.
Loved all your work with these drivers! Being from Edmonton I like that you're a close comparison(by location, not drive distance/accuracy... for now LOL). I tested multiple clubs using the information in these videos. The winner for me is the Cobra Aerojet LS! Hit long and group was tight(er). Averaging 305 yards with my longest being 324 yards. Thank you for the great work!
I love the Golfshot app I use it every time I play. But don’t waste your time with the swing analyzer it is garbage. I tested it a couple times on course and my data looked weird so we tested it with my coach against a real swing analyzer and the Golfshot app’s swing analyzer accuracy was non existent. It was wrong 95% of the time and the other 5% it was still off by up too 15%. Don’t waste your watch battery using the swing analyzer. Everything else in the app is amazing though I love it.
@@NewNineGolf i don't know the name of everything because it wasn't one brand, it was a bunch of components used together to analyze the swing. I do know it had a deWiz watch, a couple visual cameras, a couple radar/lidar cameras, trackman, and floor pressure plate system from HD golf.
@@NewNineGolf true but when golfshot tells me my swing path is 29-38 degrees in to out there is a problem when my actual swingpath is 0.2-0.5 degrees in to out, it's hard to not say the feature is bad. literally the only thing it was even close on was Tempo or what the app calls rhythm which mine is about 3.5:1 on average and golfshot was telling me mine was 2.6:1 which is still off by almost 30%.
The main issue / drawback with the Wilson driver I've heard about is that it has durability issues - which is preventing it from really hitting that next level.
I noticed you stopped caling the C723 "Tours Edge". 🙂 I was due for a new driver and went with the TSR3. Looks great, feel and sound are wonderful and for me the performance was best out of everything I tested. I soooooo wanted the Aerojet LS to work, but I just didn't hit it as well.
After getting into golf about a month ago and hitting the course for the first time with some used clubs off marketplace, I’m becoming interested in upgrading my driver after shaft snapped on a clean hit. What does the fitting process look like for someone who’s still figuring out consistency with their contact?
The fitter will cater the fitting to your needs even if there is some inconsistency. You will collect enough data to find an average baseline in your swing.
Can you tell me straight up, out of all the drivers you tested this year, which one had the consistent, tightest dispersion's, during testing.? and secondly: the one you took in the bag, was the dispersion as good on the course as in testing or worse on the course? leave speed.distance, sound, looks and price out of it. I would love to know? You know how it is, u get a test drive, all feels good, but on the range it plays different.
Dispersion all comes down to shaft. For me the Ventus Black 6x was the best shaft I’ve used this year. I currently game the Stealth 2 Plus and have had great results with it. I also game the Cobra Aerojet in my second bag but I need to put that Ventus in it.
@@NewNineGolf thanks, that's helpful, I'm looking at an upgrade from my old, driver Got distance but not a tight dispersion. XXION 9' Shaft is a xxio 45g S Love it, but looking for better dispersion.. if I change the shaft to to something more tech, that may also be , all I need. I don;t have a fast swing, I'm getting 260+m avrg. if my back is behaving! I'm 64, SS 98) I'm an anomaly with my mates, "my distances are not in the average list. using Srixon Z785's, 7i =160m any answer on the second question,? any difference playing on the screen and the course? I know the environment may come into it a bit. it forces you to shape your swing more. thanks for your response too. I watch all you stuff, I don't like watching you, I get angry, Why can't we just buy a swing like your. cheers
I've seen some pics and stories online. Nothing from personal experience. I've had buddies crack sims and other TM drivers but taylormade's customer service is pretty good though if something happens.
Love seeing an Albertan in the golf space! It'd be killer to see a course vlog at the Fairmont Banff Springs course. That stealth looks nasty blacked out 💣
I call bullshit. The TSR3 is just better than the Cobra or Taylormade this year, period. Plus, the Paradym is for sure one of the best 3 or 4 drivers out there, at worst. Too bad Rory can't use the TSR3 or Paradym. Instead, he is stuck using the Stealth 2 and missing cuts at the Masters. While John Rahm is winning everything, including the masters with the Paradym.
Dude you watch too much TV Golf, in real life what ever works for yah, Rahm was getting into great form late 2022 before bagging the paradym... They are all good drivers, my vote will be for the PING G430 Max, PING got a winner with this driver.
gtobs is right, I tried all of thsee at Dicks! I know not exactly the best test, but all I could afford! The Callaway was 2 yards longer than the Cobra but $200 more! So the Cobra is in the bag for 2024! It really fits my swing!
Serious question though. I use a King Cobra F7 Driver; I normally hit it around 265-275. Would I see drastic improvement's from buying a "newer" technology driver? Is it worth it?
I think the biggest thing you'll find is that you'll get better forgiveness/distance on mishits. I can't say for sure for you not knowing your swing speed/ball speed launch, spin etc. I would recommend going to get fit for a driver. Won't regret it. Cheers.
