I really feel that Capaldi's era has aged the best and has gotten better with time. All three of his seasons are incredible. For a long time I remember having him as my second and Tennant as my first favorite doctor. But I rewatched his era and Peter easily shot up to number one. 12 is the best doctor!
Peter Capaldi's first two seasons are not "bad". The fact that you personally weren't bright enough to appreciate them doesn't make them objectively bad. Heaven Sent in particular was a masterpiece. Also, the whole point of Colin Baker's first story is that he's supposed to be unlikeable, something Colin pulls off very well.
I love how all of the tiers are A-something and above! I agree with you, all of the Doctors are great in their own ways, not a single one of them is bad, they are ALL the Doctor though I do have my favourites of course! Tom Baker himself said it perfectly: "Nobody failed as Doctor Who"
I appreciate the love for Matt ❤. I think a lot of people hate on him for not being a lifelong fan of Doctor Who like David & Peter even though it's understandable since he grew up during the time that Doctor Who wasn't on air. Besides, he did the role justice & was amazing at it. I think he was the perfect follow-up to 10 for the Doctor to be childlike & just want to forget the pain. I don't think I could handle the angst if it was 10 then 12 immediately after 😅 I haven't watched any of the Classic Who but so far everyone who has played the Doctor in NuWho has been fantastic the writing just got messier & messier towards 13.
I think Sacha Dhawan should of be casted as 13th Doctor and Jodie Whittaker as his companion, besides Jodie came across more of a companion then the Doctor.
I love how Big Finish has turned the public opinions around on the Doctors with the least memorable TV runs. It really shows how good any of the Doctors are if they have well written stories
Unfortunately, Jodie's era suffered from bad writing and directing. I'm sure she's a good actress, but, she doesn't fit the Doctor at all in my opinion.
matt and peter better ranking then david hmmm i dont think so,peter is so serious Doctor,and matt is worst doctor ever,but have cool episodes,but david still best doctor,when he start overthinking,look just amazing and he is s+ on tear list
