This is the best Doom game tier list on the entire internet. In this video I discuss all of the Doom games (that I have played) and where they would sit on a tier list. I have some strong opinions in this video so feel free to tell me your list in the comments below...

2:40 you are the only RU-vidr that pointed that out about Doom64. Even as a child, i used to think my game was glitched because my character wouldnt pump his shotgun like the past games. I like to see doomguys hands

I think that tag 2 is better than tag 1 tho. Tag 1 is great and it’s fun but the arenas are way longer and more difficult so dying and having to restart the whole arena is frustrating. Tag 2 also has more of an emphasis on doom being badass. He rides dragons, becomes ammo, and kills satan

Personally I like Doom 64 (B tiier for me). Maybe because I played a Doom 2 Mod called Doom 64 Retribution. I treated the game like Quake because it's kinda like it

BFG edition DOES indeed change the level design in some places. For example, the original DOOM had an area in hell with zombies. It isn’t there in BFG edition. There are other changes, too. Also I agree, having more ammo and more light harms the “survival horror” element that I felt playing the original, where at various times, I was barely on the verge of running out of ammo.

Honestly, I'd do the same. The maps were quite inconsistent in quality, especially in Inferno and TFC.

My list is this: S: Doom eternal, 2016, Tag 2 A: Tag 1, Doom II, Doom I B C D E F Haven’t played 64 or 3 yet, I watched my brother play both though, 3 definitely looks better.

Interesting that people who liked Doom 3 tend to hate BFG Edition, people who didn't like Doom 3 like BFG Edition.

Actually most of the reason for people not liking Doom 3 comes from the fact that it doesnt really play like a traditional Doom game. It removes the feel of a fast action fps with horror theme imagery inplace for more of a survival horror story and gameplay. Basically, if i want to play Doom just give me Doom. But if i wanted to play Resident Evil, i wouldve popped the disc in myself or play it directly from steam/console. I personally still have a heart for Doom 3 though its my least played Doom game for that reason that there are just simply better survival horrors out there to choose from that picking Doom 3 is kind of an oddball choice. Either way, doesnt take away from the fact that its still solid in its own merits

the exact doom tier list I would make, we have very similar taste. only thing I would do is bump up doom 64 to B-tier and TAG2 to A-tier. also, side note I just want to get off my chest: doom 2016 *technically* got me into the series. I played the demo and was very impressed, however I decided to play the games in chronological order, making it the fifth game I played overall.

Doom 2016 is one of my favorite games of all time. I wish I can enjoy Eternal as much but I just can't. Worst of all I can't explain why.
