Ranking the Main Bosses from Paper Mario Origami King

Scissors is like the Grim Reaper of the Paper Mario World, you did fight death itself.

The main bosses are actually called "the legion of stationary" so I guess you could rename the video to that.

Hole Punch is and will always be my favorite boss in the game for two reasons: they absolute bop that is its boss music and the build-up, like the whole thing of finding all the faceless Toads and finding the right music disk for the DJ Toad to play is really great for building up the boss

Hole Punch can reduce your max HP up to 4 times, but usually goes down after 2 reductions.

Best part of tape is the soundtrack. Absolute perfection.

I go to the boss simulator just to fight scissors so much that I almost never beat the game

Well, I know a lot of people really struggled with that final magic circle, especially with such a limited time. If you know what you’re doing, it’s easy, sure, but a lot of people get confused, and lose. So, I’d say they did the difficulty about right

I see that you wished so bad for the devs to make Olly’s third phase actually hard so that even more noobs could have potentially die from it. XD

King Olly is my favourite final boss, it's so epic. His theme is like one of the best ever. Best paper Mario villain for me. If he had just one phase, then it would be kinda lame. and hole punch and scissors are my favourite legion of stationary members

The scissors fight was stressful as hell, man that fight really got to me. Nice video as always Shroob. Wonder if you can do an episode about Eddy River

I am happy the final puzzle in the olly fight was easy, I was terrified of messing it up since I was trying to 102% the game on my first play through and if you didn’t know, theres a medal for never getting a gameover and one for never using a battle related accessory. The game never tells you about neither of these but I knew of them going in. Considering all the insta deaths throughout the game imagine if I got that gameover ON THE FINAL PHASE ON THE FINAL BOSS, I would had been devastated. I am glad I did all the prep work of researching all the insta death situations because I managed to get those medals but the final boss (and scissors) were both extremely stressful still. Whoever included those medals is pure evil.

Scissors for me on my first playthrough was essentially anxiety the boss. I didn't think you could jump on him, so everytime I used a hammer and broke the guard. It then took me several tries, and the 30 minutes I spent fighting him gave me the biggest anxiety attack ever. I can have fun with it now that I know how to play the game, but I still get anxiety everytime I fight him.

I think scissors can rival The Shadow Queen herself and how good of a boss he is

My favourite boss is tape, it just feels really challenging to me in a good way

Hole Punch should have been raised higher on the list because of the music

Say what you will about rubber band being not that good, but that final blow is so satisfying, especially for me after I died to the phase 2 attack after thinking, yeah, 30 hp should be good, this boss does like, 12 damage if I block them all. And then on my second attempt when I was trying to grab her, I died to the attack that happens there, and now, the game room wall has a hole in it, and I have a new pro controller. Also, once against tape, all 4 rows got taped together because I was saving the fire vullemental to counter his ultimate. I did not have fun on my first playthrough, but it got better with repeats

Scissors,at the end of King olly,scissors, could've cut him and then initiated the boss fight,which would be really cool to see!

Some times I don't like Scissors

I think handaconda, sumo bros and the vellumentals should be on this list, considering none of them are optional bosses, and they do play into the story Oh well, you could always make another list ranking those bosses

Hey, in the colored pencils fight, you have 80 HP, that's IMPOSIBLE. How??? I need an explanation!!!!

Could not disagree more about Hole Punch. Easily one of the better Color Splash bosses. The atmosphere and context of the fight are really good.

You forgot to say that colored pencil and scissors can be beaten without taking any damage...but its really hard Btw they ddnt go all out on king olly cause there is an achievement for completing it without game over I know it cause its a pain to get.... and you dont get to have any battle accessories

Well I had a ranking on my channel of the bosses.. but it wasn’t just the main bosses. Also my opinion has changed. My new list for main bosses: 7: colored pencils: it was more bland than hole punch and also the way to beat the boss was pretty ez to find out.. or maybe I’m smart. 6: Hole punch: same reason u said but I just like the music.. which isn’t about the battle. 5: Stapler: I feel like this boss would have been a better boss if it was like the castle guard. Also it confuses me because when it gets it’s golden staples and is almost ded I for some reason think I need to use 1,000 fold arms but then I barely do anything and I just die 4: Tape: Alright! In my video. MY ONLY REASON! I LIKED THIS FIGHT THE MOST OF EVERY OTHER FIGHT… was the music… but the concept great tho! Also was the fight I died on the most. 3: Rubber band: a fun fight with a good concept. I really liked it. But I was kinda sad that I couldn’t fight the boss with bobby :( but abt the battle. It’s fun! It probably makes me use my brain the most in the game, and I love that! 2: King Olly: well you knew king olly wasnt number 1 for your list and I knew it wasn’t for mine. The first phase is the highlight for me because it makes me use my tiny stupid brain and makes me remember stuff, which I like. The second phase was… well kind of boring but that thwomp part was terrifying! The third phase was terrifying as well. You might be sad the Nintendo didn’t make the final magic circle hard, well I’m not because I’m bad at puzzles. 1: scissors: who keeps the scissor guard up because I like taking no damage the whole fight! Basically everything you said in the video is what I’m saying here! Wow that is a long comment lol Edit to make this comment even longer- What I meant about stapler being a castle guard is that I didn’t really like how stapler is like 5 mins before the final battle so if it was a fight before going into the final world, that would make me hyped!

Origami King's bosses are my favorite parts of the game! Anyway, I'm gonna rank them myself. 7. Tape. Whenever Tape tape's the arena, I can't move the panels at all! I'm pretty sure it's just because of where the Tape is though. 6. Hole Punch. Hole Punch is Colored Pencils 0.9. That's funny, because I think Origami King is Color Splash 0.9. 5. Rubber Band. It took me WAY too long to figure out that the bands move you, instead of make you trip, and even then I didn't notice the difference between them and normal Up and Down arrows. 4. Colored Pencils. It's Hole Punch, but better. Unlike Hole Punch hole punching the arena, Colored Pencils' missiles don't move when you move the arena, which I like. 3. Scissors. Dodging it's attacks is so much fun! This fight was so stressful and I love it! 2. King Olly. The Vellumental battle was awesome, and the other two phases were pretty cool too! 1. Stapler. First, Stapler's theme is the best in the game! Also, this fight just has a feeling to it that I can't describe that I like. All I can say is that I like the fight not having a gimmick because it's a nice change of pace and it fits Stapler well. Anyway, I have two video ideas for you. Ranking the mid-bosses in Origami King and do I like finding the Toads in Origami King.

Here is my list it’s my opinion 7. Colored pencils pretty easy it was so boring I did not like the red streamer I only like the rainbow roll attack that’s the only postivte. 6. Hole punch I kind like it i easy kill the boss on my second playthough of this game in first try. 5. Slapter I kind like the attacks it’s really good I love the area you fight that boss. 4. Rubber band really fun boss in my own opinion I like the attacks it’s good. 3. Scissors I love the fight so much it has a cool attacks I tired to kill the cover and had fun with it. 2. Tape I change my opinion hole puncher used to be my favorite legion stargenory but I change my mind I love the cover of purple and the second phase is so good he rolls around yeah purple streamer is my least favorite streamer but like the boss. 1. King Olly what else you thought was going I love the phase 1 because you fight the vellumtals again when he turns, second phase bowser goes in a fight like boxing, and third phase there is a puzzle in shy guy says which a mini game,

My ranking 7: Colored Pencils, He is the only Boss that doesn't kill me and had to make me use my 1up Mushroom. 6: Hole Punch, I hate this Boss and its so problematic cus he just Punc hes my face and made me have to get it. 5: Stapler, I have no Comment on this Boss 4: Rubber Band: This Entertainer really Entertains me as I almost got him on 1 round but he just regenerates and its kinda fun. 3: Tape, Dis Shifty Sticker Rlly just makes me all Fired up as I destroy his dispenser and makes me even More fired up of his attacks and his determination. 2: King Olly, He is just cool. 1: Scissors, OMG THIS BOSS RLLY MAKES MY ANXIETY GO UP AS ONE WRONG MOVE THEN YOUR DONE, GAME OVER, 1 SHOT AND THEN BOOM I still beated him 1st Try with 8 Jumps of Determination and I accidentally Broke his cover so My Bad.
