Update: I'd probably put Ascension above Nacht in retrospect. I think I was just super salty about losing my thundergun while I was ranking the maps. That said, Ascension still sucks imo it's just not as empty as Nacht.

This may sound like a unpopular option for some people but I still think black ops 3 was and still is the best zombies experience it's the one experience I keep going back to the most 😊
this is widely regarded as the best zombies game. Really no game compares, it’s world at war, Blacks op 1 (minus COTD and Five), and the best map of all time before BO3’s release (Origins). It’s almost impossible to argue against it being the best. Cant forget gobble gums aswell. Easily the best
THANK YOU!!! I got into Zombies with bo3 SoE and was instantly punished for not knowing there was an Easter egg, a pack a punch and a wonder weapon. Without that knowledge I was left with a map that has quite a few narrow paths. Later that year I played bo2 town and instantly fell in love. To this day SoE is still my least favourite non-chronicles map. As someone who doesn’t like Easter eggs but just likes to get set up and camp or train, SoE is too complicated for a casual like me to sit down and play without a guide
I did all the Easter egg, except the last part where you need 4 players, without guide… there’s too many hints.. On solo you get 3 beast modes on round 1 as well.. and I’m sure I’m not the only one not needing guides to do most of the Easter egg. Sure I went through a lot of rounds the first few times but it was fun to find out on my own
You can open pack a punch solo on Shangri la. The number of elevated tiles that need to be stood on in order to open it is set to match the number of players in the lobby. So if you're playing solo only one of the four tiles needs to be stood on.
As someone who started zombies with Nacht in WaW it’s interesting seeing a map ranking from someone who lacks the nostalgia for those maps and was introduced to a more developed version of the series later on.
I started on nacht too but it’s objectively the worst map in every game it’s been in. Back in the day it was cool because everything felt new and bunkering down on nacht didn’t feel too different from how you interacted with the other experiences

Dude I've played every cod classic but never once tried bo3 I still play bo1 zombies and WAW zombies classic. But whoa bo3 has all the original maps? This looks so dope kinda glad that I haven't tried this
i find this list very weird since in the beginning of the video you said you were going based off easter eggs and the giant really doesn’t have a main easter egg and you ranked it so high. also you put kino above origins and kino doesn’t even have an easter egg.
Yeah, I can see how it’d be confusing. I meant that I generally care more about the easter egg quest, but sometimes a map is just fun anyways. It’s one factor that I hold in high regard but I can still enjoy maps that don’t have easter eggs
I agree with your top 5 for the most part but I have 3 disagreements with your video. 1. You need to give Shadows a chance. You can pack a punch on Shadows by Round 3 and it’s not hard to remember or execute. You said it’s easy to pack a punch on Revelations. It’s basically the same as Shadows. 2. Origins ranked at 9? Your reasoning for ranking it low is because you don’t know how to jump off a tank? Come on bruh. 3. You said Kino is the worst BO1 map? Ascension is from B01. Lol Monkeys are annoying but can be used to your advantage. You can get extra perks if you strategize properly. Should at least be higher than WAW maps.
Just finished binging a bunch of your lists... Your channel is great! One of the best list channels on the platform... It is baffling to me that you don't even have 10k... Either way I was excited to see your thoughts on cod zombies and while I do heavily disagree with your list, I enjoyed the video a lot.
A game I recommend you playing and doing a level rank for is titanfall 2 it’s basically bo3 campaign but with far better movement and mechs in it as well and if you love doom that game will be no exception but I recommend watching a review before you get it to see if it is your jam
I played zombies from WAW - BO2 but stopped after that. A month ago I bought Black Ops 3/Chronicles. Let me just say that Shadows of Evil is the best zombie map of all time IMO.
Yeah the whole point of an Easter egg is no reward it's just a cool thing in the game you can do.. cod ruined ees they're not even ees anymore they're just missions on the game which makes them nowhere near as cool or interesting or worthwhile
. The giant definitely belongs in the bottom 3. In fact I think ascension is the only map you placed in the correct place. Gorod and zetsoubo are definitely the top two due to their complexity. When you have played zombies as much as I have you need that complexity. Revelations is up there but definitely not the best map. Although it has the best matchup of wonder weapons, the best shield etc. the Easter egg is way to simple, the map is way to glitchy and visually disappointing. There has never been an ee that built me up with so much anticipation just to let me down with its simplicity.
