Tokyo Creative Takoyaki is a must. Egg salad sandwich and spicy fried chicken from Family Mart. Luke’s Lobster was great. Japanese curry is also a must eat. If you decide to make a side trip to Hiroshima, try the okonomiyaki, really good. If you are making a side trip to Nara, go to Nakatadinou and try their mochi. It’s really good. Like, seriously good...

Definitely the Melon-pan Ice cream. It's a sweet melon-pan bread filled with icecream and different toppings to choose from, it makes for an amazingly delicious combo. He got his stand somewhere in the middle of the main tourist street in Dotonbori, if you hear a "Melon-pan" jingle you're in the right spot.

@@cyb3rne0n the real bonkers shit is when you try proper street food style okonomiyaki in Hiroshima not the resturant style. There is no order, just chaos stuffed into a way to small box to fit an okonomiyaki thst large and I love it

Ohmygod the 551 HORAI!!! Discovered it at Kyoto Station the last time i was in Japan with my mum and my god. We ordered a whole bunch of the shu mai and had a feast back at our hotel. It must be a Kansai chain? Regardless glad you guys covered that chain because more people need to get onto it when they go to Japan. 10/10 would eat again.

Modern yaki which is Okonomiyaki with noodle was new thing and modern,trendy for Osaka people 50 to 60 years ago. Although it's not modern anymore now, the name still exists.

I would definitely pass on getting that “cheesecake” It’s just a flavourless egg soufflé and not worth the time it takes to get it. I always have to go to Warai in Dotonbori to get Okonomiyaki. It’s the best I’ve had so far.
