Thanks for the video, I was actually on my last full day travelling in Osaka when this video came up and wasn't sure what to do outside of the Pokémon Cafe, this came up on my Subscriptions feed and helped point me in the direction of Namba Yasaka Shrine and then while I was walking from there to Shinsekai walked past Super Tamade. Thanks for again for the great video, really made my last full day in Osaka amazing :)
I live in Osaka and I love super Tamade, I'm lucky as there is one within walking distance to my apartment. Any of my family or friends who have visited and come to visit love it too
Emma you are the first youtuber i watch that have been into a batting cage! Thank you for really doing different stuff. I have wanted to try out a batting cage for ages, now i think i will!
In wanting to head to Japan for a while, and deciding to travel through Osaka and Kyoto, your two videos have really helped in showing me places to go, rather than just randomly wandering around hoping to stumble upon something interesting.
Yesss super tamade! I live in Osaka and it's impossible to explain it to people but I always take visiting friends there! It's just so aesthetically great
I really enjoyed those deep fried leaves. I was in Osaka as a teen so it made me happy to see you eating them, they're really nostalgic to me, I think they're maple leaves? I may have visited Katsuoji too. I remember going on a 3km hike where there wild moneys up in the trees and beautiful trout like fish in the river and feeding fish and a waterfall at the top and seeing a giant statue of maybe a Buddha and there was a water well. I was there like 15 years ago so it may have changed a lot since or might not have been Katsuoji at all
I really love your videos! Thank you for sharing your adventures ☺️ I’m kicking myself for not visiting all the same places as you but it gives me more excitement to know that next time I go it won’t be all the same!
Lol first time I seen a foreign person in Tamade. I am surprised more foreigners don’t go there because of the ‘aesthetic craze’. I go to the one In Imazato and Morinomiya often after midnight that’s when it’s popping and prepared food is all 50-100¥ off. Love from Higashinari-Ku
I went to Minoh/Kastu-oji in 2016. There was a waterfall at the base of the mountain and I hiked to the top. I accidentally walked in the temple the back way and got some funny looks on the way out. Beautiful place, when I went the mountain was rainy and very aesthetic. I took a lot of pictures, good memories.
Although there are a lot of photos of horses sitting on Google Image search, it seems it's something they rarely do. Horses usually stand (they can snooze standing), or lay down (when they need REM sleep).
I wished you had made a vlog on universal studios looks so cool. I would of taken my little guy home to cute to leave behind. The shrines are so beautiful in Japan. 🤗😍💖📸👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I plan on going on a round trip of Japan, and I would love to see more video's like this. They are so much fun, because you get to see more of the culture than just the typical tourist parts. Thaaanks 6 ˆˆ,
So did you meet Osaka chan from Azumanga Daioh. Good to find about the place. Want to go there some time. Leaves tempura. Ill leaf that alone. Reminds me of a cleaner tidier more organised version of Korea. Exploring the place is half the fun. Its interesting to see whats there. Supermarket is cute with cute prices.1 Yen thats very cute. Ill be going the budget tour so ill skip most of that. Ill be looking for cheap and free. Or getting out quick for my non non byori experience. People's tastes are different not everyone wants to do the same thing.See ya Nora. Arigato guzi mas. Good video its good to find out whats there and choose where you want to go.
I love your channel! Seeing you in the U.S. eating the worst of our food was too funny. You make me want to visit Japan. Thanks, and keep up the good work! MK
Great suggestions! I’m going to Osaka & Kyoto at the end of March, hope I can make it to some of these sights too 😁 (It’s kind of hard to plan/get excited right now tho because all of my family members keep telling me to cancel my trip due to the current coronavirus outbreak. I know it’s not nearly as bad in Japan as in China, so I’m still planning to go, but there’s a whole layer of anxiety I wasn’t really prepared for - I would feel terrible if I accidentally infected someone because of my desire for a vacation 😔)
When we stayed in Osaka in Nov 2018, that super market was our life saver!! Was it the store right above Hanazonochō Station? If it was, that was the same one we used! We had to learn how to say "water" in Japanese, as for some reason they hadn't restocked the shelves yet with bottled MIZU!!!!!!
Just a girl Helping us get a taste from Japan with those beautiful, funny and relaxing videos love her... P.S i am literally in love with the JAAAAAAAANEEEE part
you want me to visit Osaka? I mean, I'm defiantly going to Japan at some point to visit. I would like to live in Japan actually as a games developer. Working for Nintendo would be a dream. It's the culture more than anything. Everyone seems so respectful and chill and I'm really fascinated by Shinto. There is someone in America I really need to tell how I feel and what I'm thinking. If she rejects me, I would totally live there.
My partner has a severe nut allergy. I would love to travel Japan with him so do you have any recommendations about how to manage an allergy like that? We don't speak or read Japanese so I'm wondering how we would navigate eating with the language barrier?
Emma, could you tell me the name of the song that starts playing at 1:30 ? It's probably something that you captured with your camera but if you happen to know the title I'd appreciate it. Lots of love from sweden
Ah I’m sorry it was a chant that they were doing at the temple so I have no idea what it’s called! 😣 There might be other recordings of it out there but I have no idea!
TINY 8 SQUARE METERS TOKYO APARTMENT TOUR. People in the US living in cars and vans, people in Japan living in 8 sq meters. I'd like to hear your take on this after you read Killing the Host-How Financial Parasites & Debt Destroy the Global Economy.
Ah yes I’m not sure about that! I know chris did, but everyone has a different start 😊 I think sharla came to be a student and I came on a working holiday visa and did lots of different work! I hope you can find what you’re looking for! ✨
