i feel like people forget to mention that by bending the spirit cannon, korra single-handedly ripped a hole in space-time and created a multi-dimensional portal. don’t know if any other avatar has ever achieved a feat that is multi-dimensional

I was hesitant. But c'mon being able to bend 3 elements at only 3 years of age???? Even tho she's not my favorite avatar I can confidently say I've been convinced.

Aang had bigger weight on his shoulders. The burden of knowing his entire nation was wiped out, the fact that he had to master all elements before Sozins comet and defeating Ozai powered with the comet… yeah, I’m surely taking Aang. Korra got bested by Amon and Tarlok, got ripped by Unalaq until she because that universe spirit, got owned by Zaheer until Jinora and the rest came to the rescue, and Manhandled by Kuvira. Aang in the avatar state is more powerful too. In terms of pure bending strength, Korra takes it because she was technically a young adult while Aang was still a child, with massive weight on his shoulders

Things is We have to face it The fact that she mastered three elements at the age of 4 is all thanks to Aang Remember, Aang charged the members of the White Lotus before he died to find and train the next Avatar; she was the only one who enjoyed that privilege Not that, prior to Aang's time, the Avatars were only made to know of their status as the age of 16. How were they supposed to master any elements if they didn't have any teachers, or didn't even know they were the Avavtar before that time? Korra was privileged to have teachers from the very beginning of her life, all thanks to Aang. No other Avatar had such a privilege When it comes to bending skill, well I'd say it's unfair to put Korra's proficiency after learning three of the four elements for literal YEARS over Aang who managed to master these same three in under a year. Aang always excelled at bending, earning his tattoo as an air bending master at just 12! Ranking the best waterbenders in the series, Korra doesn't even scale to the best 5, and she's way above 12, and even had the best of the best to teach her the art. Aang is apparently a rather faster learner than Korra, IMO. Now, Aang was a freaking kid! Ending a 100 year raging war in just a year as a 12 year old is by no means a small feat. Like... Carrying a responsibility that heavy at just 12! Think about it. And he didn't even had to do it without guidance, and he only had two other kids for most of the show to help him figure thinks out. Korra had an expanse of masters at both bending and experience at her beck and call to guide her on her path, adults at that, even those from Aang's time! And she was a young adult. Korra had most of the world favouring her, while Aang had most of his world against him, and still got the job done. Imagine if Korra had to find her teachers herself, imagine that. I just find it being a bias that we aren't looking at the fact that Korra was privileged, way more privileged than Aang, which brings the latters feats on a whole different level of impressive. Lastly, the fact that Aang is stronger than Korra is evident in both of them having acces to the a mutual source of power, the Avatar State. We know what Aang can do in that state, we also have seen what Korra can do. 'Nuff said. Either ways, I still think Kyoshi is the strongest Avatar of all time tho 😂😅

The enemies alone tells the story for the strongest avatar imo. Korra had to face ruthless monsters 90% of the time. Aang - only had 2 of them (Azula and Ozai). Not saying that they werent tough I believe Azula is the strongest Fire bender next to Iroh out of both series. If you give Aang korra's enemies and he's done for. - Amon is taking his bending I dont care what nostagia has you believing - The Red lotus is taking down his team avatar. - Unalaq / dark avatar is beating him - Kuvira... Well aang is beating her unless she somehow catches him off guard which is unlikely Korra is beating all of Aang enemies solo - Ozai doesnt stand a chance even with the commit - Azula may be a tough fight but Korra will ultiamtely win having 4 elements, avatar state & metal bending - Sparkly Sparky boom boom guy wont win either - Zuko stands less of a chance than ozai

Korra is physically stronger than Aang while Aang is spiritually stronger and mind you, Kora didn't have an experience fighting pure ruthless enemies unlike Aang who started fighting these enemies at a young Age. Korra was then fighting supposed bending masters who will not go through extreme measures to torture her. Korra being locked all those years wasnt enough training for her to know the world she was in. Her badguys were more ruthless than Aangs.
