A good list. I have to make a comment about "Fresh," which I dearly love. Before the last reissue campaign, several years back, I would have definitely picked that as my favorite. Here's the problem: I first encountered and fell deeply in love with the previous CD version of the album, which I've come to learn was NOT the mix/version that was originally released back in 1973. The version which WAS apparently released then (the main album reissued several years back) features a lot more use of early drum machines - which only serves to obscure the absolutely brilliant drumming by Andy Newmark - and several takes that I don't like as well as the ones I first heard. I'll never completely understand what the deal was with "Fresh'"s convoluted release, but it's a real drag, in my book.
fair list, finally someone who doesn't hype the 60s albums. The golden run was from "Riot" up to "high on you". which brings me to the point: why did you ommit that one . easily up to par with fresh, & small talk. The only thing (but that's where personal taste comes in) I feel about his discography, I abslolutely despise the Heard ya missed me album. Would always be dead last but hey opinions are like a holes...
