I played in multiplayer And we died like 5 Times on ixillis

I one shot Ixillis the first time I fought it. The Unclean took me about 10 attempts to finally get. This seems right.

when you play in coop it makes alot of the bosses stun states higher and if your team isnt running high dps or high fire rate (one of the other is the only way) the stun wont occur. if you fought the final boss with a 3 stack it can be evident there as well, where as solo its pretty easy to get the stun.

He ranked the bosses off of solo, nothing more than that. Ixillis is the hardest co-OP boss in the game, yet hes one of the easiest solo bosses.

Chris Raz I agree to an extent but idk, it’s not like this is an official thing. I mean, 90% of people watching this disagreed entirely with his rankings. In this setting I feel like it’s okay to rank them on the normal difficulty

From my experience, the bosses that are hard on normal are hard on nightmare and the bosses that are easy on normal are easy on nightmare. It doesn't matter what difficulty your ranking is based on when it translates almost exactly from one to the other

Exactly on my first 5 tries beating this boss i fell off that bridge so much. one of my tries i was so close to beating the boss with only 1 of them left then it beamed me and i fell off i was so mad. That's what made it way more of an accomplishment for me when i beat her solo

If you guys didn't know there is a hive looking thing on a corner where you fight him if you damage it enough the second one will spawn in with 25% health gone not much but it will help

yeah like in Dark Souls 1 I found Artorias to be a great boss but really easy, when many other players cite him as one of the hardest, but I find Ceaseless really hard.

@@Barristan14 i cannot fathom how you found this. Ceaseless literally has one attack that is well telegraphed, giving you plenty of hits in and if you run to the fog gate, he just ...dies. He and pinwheel were the only bosses that I completed without blocking or taking damage. (other bosses weren't even close)

@@fzwwa14y163vcfgteku His cheese doesn't work for me so I fight him legitimately. First time I beat him was while I was working through Sen's Fortress and was using the Lightning Spear.

I was stuck fighting Shatter and Shade on Apocalypse mode for almost 3 hours because they were one-shoting us... it was fun though, since we really had to use our brains to survive and defeat them, and not just blast through them with our overpowered weapons. Overall, Apocalypse mode really change completely the way you need to approach a boss.

@@eliasacevedo5711 Played apocalypse for the first time yesterday and shatter + shade were the first bosses I faced. Easily took me 12-13 retries before i beat them. Fought claviger after that and all my ammo was gone before he was even below 75% health so i gave up

Scourge is hardest boss so far for me, 1st playtrough on hard and duo with friend, its close to impossible cause he is in invi mode every 10 sec in last half of hp and he spawn 6 ads which need 2-3 shotgun bullets to finish off which is insane, and anything 3 hits us and of us is dead..

@@SokTeJebo just beat scourge on nightmare and yeah, it was a pain, playing solo he only spawns 2 ads tho and for the most you can pretty much just ignore these while occasionally dodging their lunge attack, scourge himself is pretty easy to outrun so I uses the sniper to chip on his health from afar. His invulnerability attack sucks tho and he indeed spams it near the end, patience is key there but in the end it's a pretty safe yet broing strat to take him down.

Shroud - Vicious variation is what I got on my first playthrough with my cousin, Hardcore difficult. Was pain in the ass. But totally worth i!!

If I’m being honest. Ixillis was super easy on solo. In fact I beat him first try. On multiplayer how ever. What. The. Fuck. Is that damage

Rando Kadunn the particle accelerator can take out half his health when it catches multiple copies in its black hole attack

57Bruso omg I wish I knew about this Ixillis thing. I mostly just spammed grenade attachment to burst the first one down. Grenade launcher was a god send for some bosses like blink thief and an amazing card up the sleeve if I was getting overwhelmed by adds or to quickly kill a boss before I died

I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Most players are gonna start on normal. Plus, different build and playstyles can make certain bosses harder or easier; he’s even admitted as such in some rankings.

@@pirate101100 I loved the game, freaking amazing but it has some rough patches and redundant nearly useless items. Sometimes it tries to copy Souls games so much it falls flat on its face or becomes frustrating and tedious. Some bosses were just disappointing, be it easy or just a random mess like Expósito (biggest letdown IMHO), others were good visually and thematically but just a parry fest.

@@theDeModcracy Read about the Gémino quest, it's a pain in the ass and it should be activated and completed relatively early in the game. But it's not required for 100%. but it gives an useful equipable item (passive buff) It's not clear what it makes the quest to fail but it seems to be not talking to her before killing one of the main 3 early bosses or something else. If you go for the convent of our lady the charred visage first you assure it will work since it completes the quest but it is quite hard to climb the mountain and do that as the first main boss.

Gorefist literally took me around 3 hours and it was my first boss, honestly made me want to quit but I'm glad I didn't.

@@DsgSleazygore fist made me violently mad on nightmare. I got instakilled by the exploding mushroom fools, it took so long to beat it.

I'd really love to give MHW/Iceborne a look when it releases on PC next year. It'd be a huge undertaking and my perspective would be on the end of a newcomer, but I loved my time with the base game last year.

I’m on my first playthrough, so far only have gotten Singe, the Ent, and Gorefist down. By FAR Gorefist lived up to his name because he bent me over, fisted me with one hand, and spanked me with the other. And not it the fun way.

MarKo BlanKo hes a seriously punishing boss but he’s pretty easy if you just play him like a darksouls 2 boss and dodge into him

Everyone gets different bosses on their individual playthroughs, so you might play through like 3 times and not get a boss this guy got

I beat him on my second try on hard my first try I was with a friend my second I was solo

I did all of this on the normal difficulty to keep boss comparisons even, but there is a hard and nightmare difficulty. I believe the developers are working on even harder difficulties with bonus rewards. There's something for everyone!

it also depends on the state at which you fought him in the game. as a 2nd boss he isnt that easy because burning does do decent damage (rolling isnt as easily spammable early because stamina isnt infite and pretty finite at that point because you dont have reduction or increased stamina) and you dont have any coolant yet unlike oil for Ent. You also dont have enough trait points to build into a really strong crit build in your first world nor do you have access to any of those traits. For a ranking that takes into account all that including first time and subsequent fights i think the ranking is fine. Like you said he isnt HARD even the first time around but he isnt a walk in the park first time either. As for full build alot of bosses lose edge on full build, i 1 shot shroud full build and i 3-4 shot claviger so by end game every boss gets easier by almost the same amount so the ranking imo still stands.

Well, fair enough about the crit, and you don't even get exploiter until a fair ways later. Still and all, I was able to beat Singe on my first try, and have yet to die to him. Haven't died to Canker or Bandit Thief either, I guess, but Shroud got me a lot as did the guardian twins, Totem Father, Scourge, and The Unclean One (albeit more to do with the adds than the boss). Claviger was somewhere in the middle.

Well, now second DLC is NOW out so

He was the hardest boss also on normal mode. I got some kind of ornstein and smaug flashbacks

Except that it's not souls-like at all.

Erich Schiller Well, the developers behind the game even stated, that it is very inspired by souls games and metroidvania. They tried to create a game which kinda mix these 2 genres together. Little bit like salt and sanctuary and in my opinion, they succeeded.

Blasphemous is a basically just an edgy platformer that has bullshit lore people want to pretend is deep and which forces you to pick up stuff at the last place you died. That's as far as its similarities go. It has no stamina-based combat, there are no classes whatsoever and it only has one weapon. Most importantly, basically all of its enemies just have one attack, and are stuck at whichever elevation they are patrolling, and will never come down off it to chase. On the other hand, it has a lot of platforming, and it is far more difficult than the actual enemies. Honestly, it's kind of pathetic to see so many people go "OMG, best 2D Dark Souls!" basically just because it has stylish graphics and completely ignore everything to do with the actual gameplay design. Salt & Sanctuary, Death's Gambit, Dark Devotion and Unworthy are four games that are all far more committed to being like DS than Blasphemous, with stamina, more weapons & much more complicated enemies, yet people seem to believe only S & S and Blasphemous ever tried, just because Blasphemous' edgy looks resonated with more people, I guess. Even Gloom & Void Memory, two heavily flawed games from one-man creators, deserve to be mentioned in the list of "2D games that are like Dark Souls" before Blasphemous, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing I only died twice because I was trying to see his moveset I almost killed him the first time too but I got cocky and let my guard down.

That's after a patch. There was a time where the explosions required frame perfect dodging to avoid damage and corrosion buildup, which, at the time, would instantly fill the bar. And I do mean Frame perfect. My friend and I tried to co-op the game and kept getting either one shot by the boss or stunned long enough to get killed by the adds, which also spawned more of during the battle. The Ent has been massively nerfed.
