Ranking the Stardew Valley Bachelors and Bachelorettes 

I’ve got about 5k hours into Stardew Valley now lol so I can safely say that the best person to marry is the one you like the most. I am however a Haley fan. Her character development is one of the best.

Elliot is personally my fav, I live on a farm irl and am also a creative who struggles to work on my projects, I just find him relatable 😆

I married Seb in one file, but admittedly the fact that he smokes is a big turn off for me as a spouse. I try to make myself think he's just blazing it, but the idea that it could be cigarettes. 😶 I hate cigarettes lol. i do however love his frog vivarium!

Agree with all your thoughts about Sam as a friend. A point in his favor as a spouce is the other quests you get regarding his family. When Jodi asked me over for dinner, I really felt immersed and sold me on the idea that I'm meant to be with this guy. Like, hello future mother in law. Do you see the budding chemistry between me and your son? 🤣

My favorite is Krobus, they don't block you from prefection, they are a roommate and i love that.

playing as a male farmer enhances the stories of so many of the bachelors, ESPECIALLY ALEX!!! his character is so much more phenomenal when you add him coming to terms with his sexuality and love for the farmer. I love marrying most of the spouses but Alex is always my number one

im on year 3 and i have married abigail but i wish i wouldve took krobus as my room mate instead i dont want to divorce her but i wish i coule have krobus as a room mate too haha

I do think that Shane should be the lowest on the list over just like cringe. Not only is he cringe, but despite a lovely character arc, he just goes back to being a sad alcoholic if you guys get married. Definitely a friends only character.

I will always marry Maru since shes the closest representation of my wife.

Elli is just like shane and haley - a character that you either love or hate. He is definitely the most wattpad-like of the bachelors 😭 (and as a girl who rewatches twilight movies twice a year, i am deeply in love with the side profile freeloader that this writer man is 😭🌷)

My goal initially purchasing the game was to create a file on each farm and marry a different spouse for each farm. So far I've married Elliot, Sébastien, and Emily.

Penny and Sebastian are tied for my number 1, I do choose Penny more because I feel SO bad about her living situation before marriage, but I do find myself looking at Sebastian fanart more (because there isn't a lot of penny love in the fandom so not a lot of fanart) if my computer could handle mods I would have the poly mod installed, but hey, I love Shipping Sam and Sebastian so he has that going for him at least lol

I have married Maru. Almost went for Abigail, but Maru is the pixelated version of my real life wife 😂 Not a fan of Haleigh, I find her simply annoying, but each to their own

I think my least favorite marriage option is Maru. She shocked the HELL out of me, literally, when I was two days pregnant. If this was real life, I would probably have had a miscarriage 😂 My absolute favorite person is marry is and will stay Shane 🫡 what can I say? It started as a joke on my sisters farm, as in: I'm not gonna stay anyways; let's run for the rude one 😂 this.. was my first time playing Stardew. And when I finally got the game myself a month later, I grew to love him 😂 We struggle with the same shit. I used to do alcohol coping myself in the past and I'm extremely lucky to say that I never turned addicted, but I did abuse the use and let's say, it was a dark phase I've luckily overcome. But I do still struggle with depression and Shane is doing amazing.. at least in the later cutscenes I do think concerened ape could have giving him some more love - caugh - his room - caugh - and especially making cutscenes about him quitting drinking but still make him talk about beer and wine and drinking post marriage?!? Huh.. for me, he's sober, I just ignore those lines 😂 plus, Charlie is my legally adopted son and I wish Jas could live with us 🙂‍↕️ I know, people do my husband dirty a looot and I get some of their points but he's the only one experiencing growth - REAL growth over the whole game and I love that for him. I know how hard it is and I even almost cried as he told me he's seeing a therapist 🥹 Okay and now I am watching your video. Please be nice to him 😂
