Honestly imo, Khrysalis and Azteca are top tier worlds held back by excessive length and inconsistent pacing. If they were to re-sort the questlines just a little bit to remove excess stuff, they'd be near perfect. Imo they were the peak of Wizard101 plot and story as well
Hot take (er idk if it is): I hate dragonspyre almost more than Azteca. I really hate the aesthetic and its so tedious and the weakness and shield spam is super annoying. Also Marleybone and Mooshu are my two most favorite worlds both in Wizard and Pirate.
I'm still convinced I am the only player who loves Azteca while simultaneously completely understanding why people hate it. I love its theme, all the areas are awesome imo, the music goes so hard, and the impending comet is such a cool atmosphere. Its long but I wanted it to be long cuz I was rlly enjoying it. It may also be a bit of a nostalgia factor cuz it was the first new world I got to start after coming back to the game after years and years. Either way I totally get the hate so I just sit alone in my love for it lmao. I feel the same way about Zafaria and Empyrea too, absolutely stellar worlds imo. Great to see Celestia and Marleybone getting love here!! I may just put world design first in my rankings maybe cuz that's usually what carries worlds for me when the quests start to blend together haha. Anyway great tierlist!! I always love watching these :))
I love Azteca too. It's a really beautiful world. When I first went to The Zocalo for the first time, walking out of that waterfall was SO COOL. It's one of my favorite moments from playing Wizard101.
i genuinely absolutely love azteca, and i’ve done it 3 times. I just think i like the length cause it feels like i’m exploring a vast adventurous land idk. it also absolutely beautiful. I love the tropical nature so so much for some reason. i think the only world better than azteca is polaris

I put avalon in S bc i just love the story ending. The drinking from a well to go to the past and get the last blessing + Reveal of artorius being pendragon just feel satisfying.
Just throwing out my thoughts - Celestia is in my bottom few worlds, but I just started it on my death so i will be giving it another chance. Also big fan of marleybone, higher on Zafaria, agree with Mirage, a little lower but still like Karamelle, higher on Lemuria.
Imagine if this game would be full Free to Play, Voice Chat for Community interaction and Content reators, Fun PvP (Bring back Summoner Cards for PvP and Heals. Balance the game for fun and balance... more rewards, Tournaments... Leaderboard for Houses/Gardens...). They could even innovate and brought 3rd person magic casting
@@Dualities problem with free to play is that if it goes free the game will shut down within 2 years. Also voice chat sounds unbearable with how the commons is currently. I do wish they would shake up the game a bit though. It needs some kind of big change.
@@KaiserNoah There was game from EU Rocket Arena and only reason why it wasn't popular on realise is because it was 30 $ instead free. u can easily make skin store or battlepass or something. if the game is free u get many people trying your product
I quickly quit after getting my myth main to Celestia back in like 2011, and recently got back into Wiz watching your videos, and now have a solo death currently in dragonspyre. Man, after replaying now , Marleybone in terms of the first arc, feels perfect in terms of atmosphere, pace, and difficulty. I think the biggest benefit is the variety of environments and mobs/bosses compared to the other worlds. I think the world that struggles heavy with that is Krok and is probably why it is rated so low for a lot players.
I've always been a celestia enjoyer, It was such a hype world back in the day and the spacey underwater theme it has is so good, going through it always gives me nostalgia.
I will always love Wizard City but I hadn’t played through it in years…why did they change the quests and voice actors? Seeing that dumbass bunny in cyclops lane devastated me. And why is LIZZO in firecat ally bro what. I loved the old story where that guard was genuinely concerned about his fire elf friends, and is so happy when you help them out with the curse. I would rather suffer through getting that charred knife from the magma men 10 times than have to endure the new storyline again.
Lets talk about marleybone lol I would put marleybone in the S tier as well, but I see what problems people have with it. 1, people dont like the rooftop, same issue as mooshoo that just every street looks the same (I think mooshoo is just much uglier) but I love that looks so idc :D, also some ppl say its awkward to walk around there, but I didnt have issue of mobs pulling me to fight (sending my kindest regards to Assteca :D) if I strictly kept myself at the edges, so no issue with that for me. 2. the Zeke quest - A lot of the cats are in the dungeons, pretty much towards the end of the dungeons like Big Ben. So if you forget, well, bad for you. Thankfully I did remember to get the cat always and they are fairly easy to notice, so I didnt have issue with that.
New Wizard City is so bad... The worst part is, even going through it as a free player, you hit the paywall even faster now with how it's designed, on top of all the other bad changes. The story is less grounded and more tik-tok levels of cringe
So. I now have three maxes being Death, Fire, and Life. My Myth is my next Wizard, and he’s almost done in Mirage… While my lesser Wizards being Ice, Storm, and Balance are pretty much halfway through… Mirage. Honestly, I was so used to worlds being individually beaten first before others finish a world together, but my Myth started his adventure in the spotlight in Polaris, while my Ice, Storm, and Balance were also there… But overall, the worlds I’m looking forward to getting all Wizards through are Empyrea, Lemuria, and Wallaru. Maybe the next world will be amazing, but we’ll have to wait and see.
That fact that Azteca is f tier speaks volumes because I mean literally 90% of the community hates Azteca and rightfully so I hate Azteca the most and lastly wizard City I honestly prefer the classic one because it was serious less jokes but the new one is a damn joke. I was very disappointed when wizard City got a makeover basically the character's they are all jokes which is very unfortunate and very idiotic bag that they were serious about the task at hand nowadays they just add jokes as if they are trying to make the situation less dangerous but it ain't.
Marleybone is Top 5 no matter what, has always been my fav Arc 1. I have not gotten past Arc 2 unfortunately, but have always loved Polaris and Karamelle by design, so I agree with that. List is overall great, just Take Celestia away from me, I hate underwater worlds with a burning passion
you're sleeping on the story of Lemuria its one of the most interesting, also ursai village, sky city, and Mandoria are interesting streets and the old ones bases are so cool.
I always come back to this game just to play the new world but I literally fell asleep during Wallaru so I came here to see if I'm just crazy or if its actually just boring. Otherwise though I loved novus never payed attention to story so much in my life super fun world for me just because of its uniqueness.
No idea why people like marleybone, it is my on F tier world the world is all rooftops and it feels too long because of the back and forth even if its a short world it feels longer than azteca
Khrysalis in C tier is a war crime fr. I would say you're gonna be hearing from my lawyer but Azteca was in F tier so I gotta give you respect for that. Pretty solid list overall though!

Currently on Azteca looking for motivation to continue. Before my current run I had never gotten past act 1 so I want to see what the later worlds are like.
if you want some motivation arc 3 is by far the best arc in wizard101 and has some of the funnest worlds in it. Arc 4 is also pretty fun relative to arc 2 imo.

I liked Karamelle but god as much as the capitalism story is cool, it still feels like a side world and an awful way to start an arc. If it was a side world it'd be one of my faves but I don't wanna be forced to do it to proceed. Also imo Lemuria is genuinely really really good, I don't really understand why so many people dislike it, but I haven't replayed it more than once yet so maybe my opinion would change
Suprised Empyrea isn’t in a tier of its own on how dog shit the world is, it’s so bad KI needs to delete it, the boredom and the difficulty, prob the worst mistake Kingsile ever made and Kingsile had some doozies
I’m questing through wallaru for the first time and honestly I hate it. All the cheating bosses I need to look up guides to beat. The outback is walking simulator and unless something 360s quick I’m gonna continue hating it XD
to make lemuria worse, the side quests are rip offs of other worlds - there's a side quest line that mirrors the catacombs, there are others that are impossible to do alone but you'll wait in team up for 5+ hours for 1 fight when theres 10+... i'm a completionist and lemuria is BRUTAL. imo i don't like how side quest bosses get cheats in arc 4, i think it makes it way too hard
@@KaiserNoahSerious take though. I personally love Khrysalis since it’s one of the worlds with a clear progression. It’s not just a bunch of barely connected areas, you’re liberating the world from the Shadow Queen. You get closer and closer to her stronghold, gathering allies along the way and helping them rebuild their near dead lands. This world also introduced the concept of companion characters which significantly improves the writing. There’s interesting lore and (this is a hot take) I believe that Khrysalis does a better job at creating a hero’s journey type quest-line than Avalon did.
