Grizzleheim is only worth doing because of wintertusk. Wintertusk is amazing because of the Wintertusk crafted gear and the spell quest and pet quest. Wintertusk is also my favorite side world next to Wysteria.
This is how I would rank the schools and my opinions on each. I already did it a year ago, but my views have changed 1. Death (I love death because it has two of the best aoe spells ship of fools and scarecrow, and it also gives you feint, which is an amazing spell) 2. Myth (It does excellent amount of damage, and orthous is an amazing aoe spell and my only problem with this school is the amount of minions this school gets) 3. Life (Was the first school I ever picked and it has amazing stats and amazing healing spells. I did struggle a bit with not getting an aoe spell until level 48) 4. Fire (It is the only elemental school I enjoy doing because metor strike is an awesome aoe spell. It is not my favorite since it is easy like Storm but I don’t get bored when questing on it) 5. Balance (deserves a 35% blade and should get a prism at low level because I struggle fighting balance bosses at low levels. This school also is a challenge which makes me enjoy it so much.) 6. Ice (This school was never my favorite because of the stats not being that good on the gear from Zeus to Malistare. Another issue is you also don’t get a blade until level 38. The damage went up for ice a lot so it is less stressful) 7. Storm (This school is very boring and it also has the worst accuracy and health. The only pros is when you get tempests you can kill fast but that’s it)
Are you ever gonna make more lore / history about the different worlds videos?? Those are my favorite to binge and there’s so many more worlds now than where you had left off.
I would rank Grandfather Spider above Malistaire just because his motive isn't overused. I know Malistaire is old and OG when it comes to story writing, but it's probably nostalgia speaking because when I look back at his writing it just feels like bland movie plot type of writing than something intriciate like Grandfather Spider being a tragic villain. "I DID THIS FOR MY FAMILY" is the same type of writing you'd see in an average Disney movie.
This is actually sad to hear. I recently decided to start playing again. After a span of 12 Years. And this is the state the game is in? Where are the hard choices?
Playing the game can still be fun, just stick to your own lane and don't worry about meta. If you just chill and play how you want its still quite enjoyable.
@@KaiserNoah I get that. My fear is that where classes do not matter, everyone is going to have the same build. Furthermore, it opens up cyberbullying to those who do not have that build.
@@KaiserNoah ya I agree both have their challenges that’s why still in A tier but you never run darkmoor or waterworks alone and a team can handle both with ease
Grizzleheim/Wintertusk hands down the hardest locations in the game. The majority of Grizzleheim is fairly easy until you hit Nidavellir. Before the PVE nerf, it was literally impossible to do this solo - Jotun, the final boss, had more health than Malistare. Don't even get me started on Wintertusk. You unlock the area at level 50 but don't even bother trying to complete it unless you have the level 56 crafting gear or level 60 waterworks gear.
you know, i dont like this change either, but in fairness, we've been complaining about how the game tells you to get a secondary school even though a secondary school is trash for years now. KI makes secondary schools viable, and then the community is in outrage about it.
Doesn't this benefit completionists thought by allowing the player to obtain every element and skill for all the classes? I get classes have their own identity, but with this change you can get a true 100% file right?
I promise you no one has, or ever will, have a 100% save file in wiz. Its not a game that you really “100%” beyond doing every quest and getting good gear sets. You dont really do completionist runs of MMOS.
They have to go back into having armor sets that focus on their strengths. That would help alot, but this far into the game that would seem like a step back for the majority of the schools
My account got perma banned and didn't do anything for it's crazy lost all the stuff I worked on but I started a new account fully playing solo now was just waiting to team up and got banned 😢
@@xpsychogravityx166 Email KI. There must have been some kind of reason for the ban. Whether thats a rejected card for membership or you said something you werent suppoised to.
@@xpsychogravityx166 message them until they message you back with a different response. Idrk what to tell you here the VAST majority of players dont get banned for no reason. If its not a charging issue it mustve been something you did.
@@KaiserNoah ik I got a warning for being reported during a team up but other than that said language bit play solo the whole way thru other than fight ill keep trying was 1 warning to straight ban is kinda crazy
@@user-jl8ho2kp5v Any pet that has a damage talent. I have multiple videos on pet training and other youtubers probably have even better ones. The pet doesnt really matter just whether it has multiple damage talents.
I have not done much in Wizard101 past beating mostly everything in Wizard City (I have made it to Krokotopia, but haven't seen much yet). It is just good to do because why not experience the game? The side quests add a bit of humor and sometimes have really good rewards such as training points from Zeke.
