The hobby has a double standard for card repackers when compared to card manufacturers, and that needs to stop. They should be held to the same standard.

I'm with you 100% on this one. Owning the licenses has let Panini do what they want.. I know they say be careful what you wish for but do look forward to Fanatics taking over. Although wish it wasn't a Fanatics exclusive license and allow for some competition to keep them honest.. would love upper deck to come back to bball

Back in the 90s and early 2000s all odds were printed on the packs and boxes. We also had multiple companies with licenses to do multiple sports. No single company should have the sole license for, and league and all pack odds should be printed on the packs and boxes so people know what they are buying. Most repacks are scams with some, like Arena Club, who buy back what they sold you just to resell it again.

They are making the assumption that a large part of the collecting community are mouth breathers. When i have a sinus infection, these will interest me.

It’s all a scam if you don’t actually keep and enjoy the base set. If you’re in it just for what you can resell, you’re collecting speculation, not cards.

Collecting the base set is a very narrow view of collecting. I only collect cards of my favourite players only, and I don’t care about their base cards at all.
