we don't keep up with anyone. we started from zero knowledge and we just learn from comments and lyrics of other songs. it means our viewers can know exactly where we are on this journey. but we appreciate comments, so it has been eye-opening to realize that we were incorrect. we will have to check out another mgk song to learn more about him

Like Hit em up didn't End Biggies career No Vaseline didn't End Eazy E or Dre Dres career. Jack the ripper and Momma said knock you out didn't end Kool Mo Dees career. Back 2Back didnt end Meek Mills Career, Ether didn't end Jay Zs career and so on. Both Kill shot and Rap devil are good disses although I like Rap devil more because what he's saying I find is more potent. Things like You are almost 50 but acting like a baby, you are a bully to everyone else but can't take jokes, you had Dre's help, you seem to be obessed with trying to be the old Em. But both are great. Have you guys heard the track Whiteys Revenge by Everlast, that is another great diss against Eminem

Your point is nice but hit em up did ended biggie because if not for that song the beef wouldnt happen, and both biggie and pac wouldnt have died, so technically it also ended pac but still it did end biggie, no vaseline pretty much ended nwa funny how you specified dre and eazy but not mention that it was a diss to the whole nwa, and after that nwa fell off. The only diss that did not end something was ether because jay is literally a billionaire now.

His popular 1998 album Whitey Ford sings the blues has elements of blues, rock, hiphop and even soul and that comes years before Quitter or I remember. @TF ACE I singled out dre and Eazy because they had popular solos career after NWA, and No Vaseline didn't End the group NWA strife and fighting within the group ended it. Dr Dre as well as The D.O.C and other all left Ruthless records at the same time. As for the 2pac and biggie thing Hit Em Up is not what caused their deaths 2pac was most likely killed by Gang members from Cali after he beat up some gang members with Suge Knight the same night he died. Most disses don't end careers some of the best disses havent ended careers and some not so great disses have A diss songn should not be measured by if it ends so.eones career or not it should be judged by whats said in the song and how its presented and the impact it has or if its a response how well it did at responding

At the end of the day for hiphop it was a nice beef we might have needed at the time, it got MGK fans hype, it got Em fans hype. And a lot of people talking.

yeah it seems from comments that some of the things we said in the video weren't accurate. but it is a little confusing. we just learn from comments and lyrics of other songs about this beef. and it seemed like killshot ended mgk's career, but now a lot of people are saying that isn't true

Lol, how can you say his rap career is over when he released a series of rap freestyles/covers not that long ago? He dropped binge cause he got pushed by Diddy to do it, he recorded all Binge tracks the same week he did Rap Devil cause he was filming a movie but his label wanted him to drop some music and make Rap Devil part of the deal, that’s why all the videos, including the one for the diss track, were filmed in the same place. Of course his sales went down, he was beefing with THE Eminem, everybody loves him and MGK wasn’t that known before, plus Binge isn’t his best work. He’s not over with the Rap, he dropped one rap album, and single right before releasing his Pop Punk album, you just didn’t keep track of his music after the beef.

The fact that I haven't even heard of this other rap album kinda proves my point, if it was a hit or did incredible numbers, I would've heard about it. Assuming it didn't, it was a flop like the EP. Now as for Pop album, that's clearly been a hit. And if he comes back to hip hop after this, he'll be bringing all of his new fans with him and might make a comeback.

But the album itself, in terms of music, is great indeed. He also didn't get blackballed, he got banned from one radio show that Em owns. You should also do your research, because Em only dropped Not Alike after MGK sent subliminals to him on a verse with Tech9 earlier in the year, and dissed him during one of his freestyles. MGK reignited this after years, not Em. I looked at the sales for Hotel Diablo and it was the 52nd highest Hip Hop selling album of 2019, so it did very poor. My initial comment was about his rap career, and sales are directly linked to that. He had terrible sales, therefore his rap career took a huge hit and he stopped rapping. Whether or not the actual content on the album was good or not, that's subjective. I won't trash the music because I haven't listened to it.

Em took it to the heart just cause MGK was some years older and the other white boy people said to be his clone, but MGK and Hailee are only a few years apart and he was 18/20 when he said it. Then Em shouldn’t have mentioned someone else’s daughter like Hilary Duff when she was 17 and he was in his early thirties with the song “Ass like that”. MGK got interviewed about the tweet because of Eminem reaction. He got banned from Shade 45, but Eminem’s influence in the rap game was a huge part of the reasons why nobody wanted to fuck with MGK’s music. And Not Alike is not the first track in which Em disses MGK, he’s been subliminally dissing him and NF cause ppl compare their flow. MGK did diss him with the Tech9 track, but Em’s been literally doing it for years. That’s why MGK mentions “Over the simple fact you had to diss to acknowledge me”. Ppl don’t know how to separate success and talent. No matter what, we all knew Em would be claimed the winner, but MGK’s very talented. Not everybody is willing to recognize it tho and that’s okay. I’m aware music is subjective, so I respect your perspective. I’ll leave it at that and move on cause I know we won’t agree so have a good one.

That's all he does, he on the other hand has not released any good music compared to his old stuff. Rap God was the last of his awesome tracks. Btw at the vma's EM won nothing though MGK won in 1 category. For me EM needs to produce the likes of loose yourself which has always been one of his best ever.
