Red Velvet is absolutely a legendary group, perhaps the most iconic in terms of voices in their generation, and their concepts are always a delight, the entire album is great, especially the track “Will I Ever See You Again”, the funny thing with this group is that even having legendary status they still feel underrated!!
This concept was unique and pretty dark so I loved that of course. Their voices are also beautiful, really impressive. I'm so appreciative of the recommendation to check them out! Thanks for watching of course!

Concepts Queens! Yes, they do exactly that, change "verse, visuals(concepts), chorus", all the time. That's their genius. Never seen them mad in a performance. Queens of American R and B style songs. (B-sides). This album is supreme. In past they sample Gershwin to Bach. Most start with Psycho m/v, but, great songs like Wildside or cult favorite Peek A Boo. Thanks for appreciating Red Velvet.🤩🤩
Coming over here after watching your reaction of their Killing Voice👍 -The man in the picture...or was in the picture was their manager known to be strict with their diet before a comeback. -There is no blood in this MV. It was just D'Arbo Strawberry Fruit Spread. Wendy was caught dipping into it since she needed some sugar fix. It's a real mess to clean it up also. -They had to bury/burn everything that had the strawberry stains on it. Otherwise they could not release the comeback on the promised date.

The way you reacted and appreciated both musically and conceptually the changeups in this song tells me you are born to be a Red Velvet fan! Not to mention the vocals, omg the vocals. Idk if anyone else has already mentioned this but - a lot of ReVeluv are saying instead of being caught, they're being "found" cause they were being held captive and now they're free. Maybe even if the cops think they're CATCHING someone, I think they will be ok. Cause they were freeing themselves. Idk if the whole forest burned though...... but I can forgive them. The vocals with this group are so good. I do like songs/groups that keep you guessing and experiment with concepts and sounds so I do think I'm going to enjoy this journey! (Especially after my killing voice reaction which showed me this song was not a fluke) Oh I do like that theory! The reason I thought they were "caught" was that they got surrounded and looked worried but you could still be right. (Also even if they were arrested that's why I said it I could be considered self defense if it's an abusive situation). Oh and thank you so much for sharing this and for watching!

It's usually subtle but I'm pretty sure they are witches in their lore (they really aren't very stereotypical witches most of the time, but when you think of them as witches, a lot of their videos make more sense somehow), so when they all hold hands in a circle at the end of the video while police are approaching them, I feel like we probably shouldn't have to worry about them ♥
Every guy wants Red Velvet until they see "Peek-a-Boo" and get traumatized LOL and then when you go down the rabbit hole you realize that as "cute" and poppy they are there's a real dark undertone to their music and visuals.
Before exploring KPop I was into rap and metal so I like that dark tone style a lot! I like groups and artists that aren't afraid to stand out or hit harder than some some of the more "bubblegum pop" sort of sounds.

They mostly live in the dungeon of SM. People usually love when you make weird face. Dont worry muggle cop cant do thing to them. They were singing about chance of hope even in desperate worst life, in the form of dark tone of velvet and red. RV considered have many weird songs but they are awesome. They are space-witches with beautiful voices singing for our happiness. 😉

And thank you so much for the lil shout out!!! 🫶✨ Red Velvet has such a special place in my heart, their music is so, so incredibly powerful and their voices always melt my heart ❤️ Chill Kill was completely heavenly and really dark, such an intense mix of feelings. Honestly such a rollercoaster ride with how mysterious it begins, how dark and dramatic it becomes. then totally free and heavenly, and then at the end when they get caught, there is such a bittersweet, almost tragic and heartbreaking feel to it all, especially when they all stand together in a circle, ahhhh my heart!!! Every time I watch Red Velvet commit multiple crimes in their mv’s: “They did nothing wrong! It’s all a misunderstanding! Not guilty your honour!!!” Loved your video!! They’ve got a great and super creative concept, I’d genuinely recommend every one of their songs. They’re all SO Red Velvet’y, so unique and they WILL have you exit your body at every ad lib. they never ever EVER disappoint on the vocal front, trust. 8:36 also my cat knocked down my laptop just after this 😭 - I found your channel just now so I don’t know if you have, but in case you haven’t checked them out yet, I think you’d like nct! Their concept is awesome, they’re split up in units, but have one unit where they constantly rotate members & do different things. Since you like rap it seems, Mark & Taeyong are great great rappers in my opinion!! Definitely some of my favorites in kpop 💚

So glad you liked them! To be honest, they are the last group in SM I really got into so I'm not that familiar with their lore but I know there is one. They do have a mix of bubble gum songs and dark songs but it seems to me they always have a slightly off balance thread in their songs which I think is related to the lore. Wendy is your angelic voice, although of course they all sound great. The others are Seulgi (I think you said it right) in red and white with braids, Yeri in green and white t-shirt, Irene in pink and Joy and Wendy are both in blue with long hair but Wendy has bangs. Now, you would probably also be interested in checking out Got The Beat (GOT), which is the girl group version of Super M. Members are Seulgi and Wendy of Red Velvet, Winter and Karina of Aespa, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon of Girls Generation (SM's groundbreaking 2nd gen girl group) and the legendary BoA, senior female artist at SM who was the first kpop artist to chart on the US Billboard chart.
Of course SM has a supergroup for the ladies! 😆 I have seen a few people mention Taeyeon she's on my list too. But yes this was dope! By my reckoning, Red Velvet’s Wendy is like 4th best in SM. But that’s crazy because Wendy sings better than most humans. The guys too. EXO has the best vocals but how can anyone say Shinee is less than? And you probably haven’t heard Super Junior’s vocal line? They are unreal. Or Changmin of TVXQ? Legend. I can name at least 12 artists in SM that can be called the best vocalist. And that’s just the best of the best. 😂 Taeyeon is a must though.
Just a little correction, the "angelic" person he asked about was Joy not Wendy! It's true that Wendy is the one who usually does the adlibs and high notes, but that "Until the end" run was Joy :)
As a Red Velvet fan, I really had fun watching your first exposure to the group. I like how you noticed and paid attention to all their background vocal runs and ad-libs. They really are the masters of those fine details in their songs. You definitely have me beat in how quickly you fell in love with these girls (literally on the first note!!!). For me, my first exposure was "Ice Cream Cake" and when the first chorus in that song hit me I was like "Whoa, what is this? This is everything I'm looking for in a group." This group has an amazing discography that now spans well over 150+ songs at this point and I'm not exaggerating by saying their entire catalog that spans a wide variety of genres and concepts is no-skip.
I loved your editing in the video 🤣 I've never been a big fan of GG, but for no specific reason... Then when I saw 2 RV MVs, I couldn't help but fall in love 🥲 For me they are the EXO gg version ❤️ impeccable vocals, 10/10 concept, full visual, I am completely surrendered.. You have a great beard! I'm jealous! Yes, this MV tells a pretty dark story, but if you check out their other songs you'll learn that that is kind of something they do pretty frequently, Red Velvet are very good at taking a dark story and hiding it behind a masquerade of cuteness lol.

I just got into RV about a month ago. It was this MV that did it. I sampled their discography on RU-vid music, and they have a high single digit number of songs that I really like, and then a whole lot of (for me) generic Kpop sounding songs that don't do much for me at all. I tend to like the 'Velvet' songs a lot more than the 'Red' songs as I understand the concept. I like about 3/4 of this album, but as for the rest of the discography for now I only care for Bad Boy, Psycho, RBB, and Sassy Me. I haven't bothered to learn their names, but that cute girl in the green and white top would be my bias if I were to actually be forced to pick, though I think a couple of girls have better vocals.
Ive watched more than 30 reactions to this, and yours is perfect. You got it from the beginning. Most said murder, and never realized the scribbled out guy who used to sit in the chair probably dressed them up in those later costumes, probably for sex tapes.
