I’m from s small town in Mississippi & Boosie use to always perform at club O’Hara in Hazlehurst, he’d let ppl on stage, buy the club out, had contests, he hung in the hoods around Mississippi especially Jackson. I can vouch when he said Mississippi been had love for him bc he was the most relatable artist to come out of the south back then. 💯

I'm watchin this and tripping on how young this guy was and how it's not even the same person to the OG boosie is. Wiser. Humbled. Grown up. Respect that just for staying alive out there that long and then think about the money he made, charges he beat and didn't he even have cancer? I remember something but I could totally be wrong. I got big respect for boosie for this reason.. I’m 52 and boosie was my Babymomma favorite rapper and she was way past her glory days.. she would leave from Lafayette and go to Baton Rouge and chill with boosie and his people.. that made her day and she is no longer with us but I always think about that.. she enjoyed life and that gave her a great story to tell.. long love queen black..
