I remember the Body chorus played on a pop radio while I was in the car with my dad and he just turned off the music and asked me if I knew who the singer was and I had to half-heartedly explain that she can rap but doesn't always choose to
Idk if it was saved necessarily, but ‘Everybody Hates Me’ by Tom MacDonald has a nice hook. That is the closest thing to a compliment I will ever give to Tom MacDonald. Terrible artist.
@@k-dawgwestmore4643 I mean I guess it saved it but I personally agree with CDTV about this track being a pretty replayable one even if I don't really listen to it. Also while the topic is absolutely horrible on this one "Sad Rappers" is another song from Tom where the hook is actually very very good. Sometimes I think his hooks are so bad that they're good y'know? But yeah as a rapper well......not very good 😂
@@kcxN17 its not off-key its off-beat. and it's definitely off-beat at the part where it says "fuck with you im gon fuck it up" part. the bridge is so much better, and the chorus actually ruined it for me
I mean its very dissapointing but its not really that bad of a chorus. Its listenable which cant be Said for a lot of other choruses by other artists. It is very bad though compared to some of the other hooks that q, dot and travis has written
I personally really like how Joyners hook sounds like. It is a bit offbeat-ish. But i think it fits it well. Being a broken family and such. Its crazy knowinghow different people think😂 then again maybe in biased cause that song hit really close to home
Nah man, he was definitely being dramatic about it, making it seem like one big piece of shit within the whole album and that shit ain't right. Had to hit with him the f*ck you but have nice day when I commented
@Chadzilla honestly i think the hook on vengeance is pretty close in quality but i would agree it’s the worst hook on the album, i still don’t think it’s bad or ruins the song
the hook for Offended is like when you're riding a fun roller coaster, but then suddenly something malfunctions and the ride has to stop prematurely, but the malfunction wasn't bad enough to where the ride had to be shut down, so you just sit there for a long and awkward amount of time, waiting for it to be fixed, and then when the ride starts again, the fun you had just sort of wore off because that malfunction ruined the thrill.
@@abdulame2629 I agree even though i'm a huge Em fan after Revival he just didn't take rap seriously and just trolling and making people laugh. Songs like Gnat was ruined by the hook.
@@xxlvciferxx666 I know he is just having fun at this point and people use that to say Emimem is trash. People actually think Eminem doesn't listen to the music before releasing it like The Kickoff Freestyle Eminem joked about touching a melon a people said Eminem fell off hard.
@@kanyenorth8449 yeah man at this point people should just stop hoping Em will drop us another masterpice like mmlp and accept that he is just having fun with his music now that he is SO far into his career
@@morrow3388 MMLP2 is his best album this decade followed by Kamikaze thats his only serious album this decade both Revival and MTMB is just him having fun and sharing his opinions.
If the joke was original that’d be acceptable. It felt like Eminem’s typical Slim humor but not really innovative. Like his rhymes and flow in the verses is there, but idk, just feels like he should try to be at least a little more original.
LOL i like the hook on eminem's offended.. i think its cool that he took the kids song and used it for his own song! its creative & it sounds unique from other songs, it was a neat idea ;p
downloaded a rework someone did of Revival, and they took the hook out of Offended and it flows so smoothly and sounds great, why he put that hook there is beyond me
The chanting on the original "Who Dat" sounded like one of those chants you hear in African folk dances or something similar. The chorus on Nasty (Who Dat) sounded like A$AP Ferg got beaten up and is moaning in pain, but doesn't have the energy to scream anymore.
I like it. I’d only ever heard it out of context from the whole song, but after hearing clips from Offended I can see why it’d be a curveball. But I like it.
Disagree with the Denzel one, definitely my favorite track on TA1300 and one of my favorites in his entire discography. The hook really pulls it together.
Joyner's song was a banger tho. Maybe he coulda done the kid chorus like he said but either way that was some good stuff. And he had the kids sing it at the last part of the song which ended it well. So this the only one i gotta disagree with
