this is the first time they gave Nico's full name as Nicolas Bourbaki - if you want to go down a rabbit hole, research Nicolas Bourbaki - they are a group of mathematicians from Europe back in the day who created the Empty set ∅ which twenty one pilots uses in their logo as well as the group created the Dangerous Bend Symbol from Overcompensate
Further down the Rabbit hole- the Bourbaki group was developed directly after WW1 where “Trench” warfare was used, “trench warfare" became a byword for stalemate, attrition, sieges, and futility in conflict. The group was named after Charles-Denis Bourbaki a French General who had a career of successful campaigns until a crushing defeat and surrender, he tried to end himself that night but failed that also.

The first time I heard this album, I was sitting on the tarmac at Manchester (UK) airport waiting to go back home to the UAE. I was scanning the music on the inflight entertainment and saw that they had TOP's had new album and I'd not heard any of it yet. I swear, it was THE most perfect setting, by the time Morph was playing, we were pulling up through the cloud layer ready to coast at 36,000ft for the journey back. I listened to it on repeat for about 4 hours. It was absolute perfection and takes me right back every single time 💜
I have a similar experience. The first time I heard it was at an airport. It's wild how we are able to stamp those memories and know exactly where and what we were doing.

This song is so good that i named my lady cat Morph just because of it. This one, Message Man, and We dont believe what's on tv are the best songs live in my opinion. It's so so SOOOO good live. You should search it up on youtube and watch. You're gonna love it, and i hope they play it on this tour.

You mentioned an R&B influence. To me, Level of Concern sounds very much like something Lionel Ritchie could have put out in 1986. The lyrics wouldn’t have made any sense, but nobody would have cared.
