When using your table top scale, you were measuring in lbs & oz and it looks like you were measuring in lbs and fractions of a pound with the Rapala scale ... 1.19 lbs is 1 lb 3 oz ... essentially the same from what I see

I have the scale I do not like it I’m gonna buy another one it’s not accurate it jumps up and down when I weigh fish. Too complicated

Thank you for the solid review and lots of details. Not sure if someone already mentioned this and it's an old video but 1.19 lb is not 1 pound 1 ounce. On the first scale you had 1lb, 3.2 oz. When converted to decimal pounds that is 1.20 lb exactly. So your reading of the coffee cup of 1.19lb is VERY close to your green food scale. The only reason I caught this is because I used to use a scale from rapala that only did pounds and ounces. I bought a new scale and had to get used to how I actually like it, which is decimal format (1.20 lb vs 1 lb, 3 oz, etc). Again, great review!!

Good review! I’ve had this scale for the last year or so and It’s awesome!! Everything is almost to perfection. It’s close to accurate with weighing fish. I still haven’t figured out how to access or connect it to Bluetooth . Thanks for the review.

The display is nice, very bright. Looks like a decent product.

I have 2 of those and my son has 1. All of them are about an oz off (low) in the 1lb range. I still like it and use it because it's consistent at least.

Bottle opener is the true selling point. Ha ha.

I put another ring brewer the scale and clip. Little easier putting clip on lip. 🎣🎣🎣

You are reading it wrong. Rapala = 1.19lb and food scale = 1lb and 3.2 oz.(3.2 oz is .2lb). So Rapala 1.19 lb is the same as food scale 1.2 lb.

I do really like the high contrast. Maybe get some of those small weight plates that are 2.5 lbs and test it on both, maybe the food scale was off?

It looks awesome.... the problem is that a difference in 1oz could mean my average fish weighs nothing 😫😭

Thx 4 the review. Im iffy on it just cause AAA batt vs AA and the power button. I had a digital scale by Dr Meter $13 on Amazon. I used a 5# weight to test accuracy and if i remember right it was 4.9# , but i lost it. Might go back to that cause it was small for a bank fisherman to carry in his backpack and close enough for accuracy for me. And it would power itself off automatically if no use.

Major flaw is it doesn’t automatically hold

Nice scale, especially with the bright display and attached grips. Since I only catch dinks and don't need a scale, I've decided to use the cost of the scale to buy a couple cases of Summer Shandy beer from Sam's. :) Good review though, Matt, and if I had a need for a scale I'd invest in that Rapala scale. 👍

to be honest I need to buy a new scale mine is as old as I am lol so I like this scale I never liked using the gills either

Your Rapala scale is in hundredths and your kitchen scale is in pounds and ounces. They are both reading the same.

When you where the coffee mug and it said 1.19 that did not me in 1 lbs. 1 oz. that meant 1.19 pounds

Cool item. Was it 1 lbs. 1 oz. or 1.19 lbs. The later would be 1 lbs. 3 oz. Maybe it's spot on.

Wish you would have shown how to weigh different objects, cull them and turn the stored weight out of the scale. That’s what I thought I would see, didn’t see what I needed to see.

Mines not turning on

I bought one and it doesn't seem to work...no lit up screen and won't even turn on for more than 1 second (and yes I had new batteries)

My thermometer on my scale is set to Celsius am I able to change that to Fahrenheit

in your accuracy analysis, you misinterpreted the Rapala scale's reading. The Rapala scale read 1.19 pounds, not 1 pound 1 ounce. 1.19 pounds equals 1pound, 3.04 ounces. The food scale read 1 pound, 3.20 ounces. That's pretty close; who knows whether the food scale or the Rapala scale is the more accurate.

How well does this scale work one year later? Still accurate?

It weights is decimal my guy, multiply by 1.6

Weighing something on a scale is a lot different than a stand on scale due to pull of gravity😕
