The other Rapala scale is easier to use. For one thing you can see all your weights on the screen and don't have to keep going back and forth. You will find a lot of professional fisherman still use your other scale. If you like the new one well that's the one you should use.
I used to own that scale and I could not read the numbers and it was not as user friendly as the one I reviewed in the video. I have noticed that many pros are using the other scale so I wonder if they improved it?
Best review on this scale. You should have kept the hook or get another. It's good for bagged fish at tournaments. Also, tare weight is set by briefly holding the power key down.
Just wanted to let you know that I watched multiple other videos on these scales and yours was without question the best review. The others just sucked is all I can say. The only thing you didn’t do was to show how to zero the scales, for instance if you had a cull tag on you can zero the scale and weigh only the fish. But you did a great job.👍
I can barely read my screen it’s so dim. Just replaced the batteries. Showing full battery but I dunno it’s extremely hard to read and it stays in a box and is only brought out to weigh fish
Hmmm, not sure why. I can see mine just fine most of the time. I do have trouble when it is very sunny out but I just turn so the sun is not behind me so I can read it better.
Press power for 3 seconds until it flashes. While the screen is still flashing, press the power button to cycle through the choices. Once you have the correct units wait for the numbers to stop flashing. The next time you turn it on the units you chose should be displayed.
