I think Lachlan has led the way in this shift in cycling from being an exclusive somewhat arrogant club of racers to a community of people that are passionate about the freedom and thrill of being on two wheels and have more in common than was ever allowed to be explored. Lachlan seems good to the core and courageous for risking one path in a career for a riskier other. I don't know who had the vision first but Lachlan and EF are brilliant for seeing the future and risking in and supporting this shift. Keep this up EF because your value goes well beyond the roads. The final statement in this video about Lachlan and Kenneth's partnership was beautiful...

Wow! This is what cycling is about- not about being first or being the fastest, but about friendship and building community. This reminds me of how I used to obsess about always wanting to go faster and being in the front in my past Century group bike rides. However, I learned that cycling is more than the destination but more about the journey with good friends and company. I love these videos and Lachlan and Team EF, you are a true inspiration! Keep up the awesome work!

how good is it that EF allows and actively pursues alt races and events.. As much as I love grand tours and one day classics its this style of riding that keeps us riding. The individuals who pursue out events and see what we can do.

God dammit I love Lachlan, he’s just awesome. Kenneth, you rule too! I’ve been to Kenya twice volunteering with kids and to see this just resonates special. The ending is my favorite. Can’t wait to see what they build m. Kudos to EF for backing this stuff… this is what cycling should look like 🤘

Lachlan has just taken the pro cycling world by the bo##*?ks and raised the bar. Not only does he train and ride the pro tour he does things like this using cycling to do good and he’s cool with it 😎. In the messed up world we have at the moment he’s the ambassador for cycling. Keep paying him Rapha / EF.
