Why would an ecg vary from year to year, or month to month, with some having a normal pr interval at less than 200, taken in say, 2019, but previously in 2018, a longer than normal one, ie abnormal at 212? Or one taken recently, again abnormal at 212, and one taken only 4 months ago, normal at 189. Could sedatives or certain medications used at the time cause these anomalies?
@TheLearnMedicineShow
@TheLearnMedicineShow Месяц назад
Yes - some medications can prolong the movement of electrical activity through the heart, which can affect time intervals. Another factor is age & disease-related changes in the conduction pathways.
