3:27 That small black connector that looks like an AC outlet or it can be a PTE connection. PTE is Portable Testing Equipment, usually hook up a laptop computer to a PTE connection to get data from for example the trains main computer, black box or it can a sectional component like propulsion system or electrical and so on. I was a technician for a few train builders. That what it seem to resemble. Nice video. Have a good 4th of July weekend.
Very impressive fleet. I live in the Tri State area Where I live Near New Jersey Transit. And my many trips in times past to Toronto & spotted The GO TRANSIT trains may I add thousands of videos of them. I have these Coaches and Cab Control cars in ATHEARN. Unfortunately I didn't purchase the ATLAS NJT cars. The engines Details are The GO TRANSIT are excellent. The New Jersey Transit cars I have had the pleasure on riding them constantly. On the ATLAS set what Irks me is why didn't they make an ALP 46 with the HO set ? The O scale set had them ALP 46 but not the Diesel Electric version you have on the ATLAS HO version.. I did spot the real version on my way to DOVER New Jersey. near Summit station when they' first debuted. Glad you have that one tho. As for your other model AMTRAK & your frieights sets are all awesome . Good video. 👍🎥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Good choice. One of my favourite models with really good quality. The DCC sound versions make them so much better. Time to invest in one lol. We did actually put the back handrails on upside down so you can fix it on your model if you wish.
@@eth.wong04 No factory speaker is perfect but some are decent (Athearn, Bowser, and Scaletrains factory dual sugar cubes for example) to being really piss poor (looking at you Atlas)
Fun fact with go transits locomotives, go transit had originally bought cargo locomotives incase the passenger rail system failed. So as a back up plan incase passenger rail failed it could sell of all its locomotives to cargo railroads.
I actually have a couple of model train sets and a select few of my train cars “I think three of them” decide that they don’t want to cooperate when I stop my train, so when I start going again they just decouple.
These reviews are amazing! Did you know that Rapido is coming out with Chicago Metra equipment in the near future? I’m planning on getting some coaches but I already have Kato coaches and locomotive
Great vid I give up on requesting to see the Broadway limited California zephyr passenger cars but if you do happen to get the those require 22 radius curves
