i always think it's so funny the way he says 'we've got a show later' as though it's a small thing instead of this huge festival where he announced his wife was pregnant for the first time. i think you'd really enjoy their MTV Unplugged performance cos you can see them using looping, sampling and layering vocal harmonies in real time.

They have a lot of videos like this where they remake songs - Tyler has even started doing it live in concert - they were also on MTV Unplugged this past week where they remade 8-9 songs It's amazing between the two of them how many different sounds they can create bc they can play so many different instruments

I also prefer this version to the original. So groovy and chill. Definitely check out their mtv unplugged set/a song or two from it! It was incredible.

Twenty One Pilots and Mutemath did a collaboration live session together, this kind of reminds me of that overall sound. They have the full 20ish minute session on youtube, worth a listen!

I love TOP so much! Tyler has such a great voice and he does a ukulele cover of Elvis' "Can't help falling in love with you" and it's him singing and playing on the streets. there is no studio version of this, it was just something Tyler wanted to do on a whim on day and had tons of people on the street agree to be in the video. The vid has 163 million views to date and every time I watch it, I cry....it's just so damned good. Please consider reviewing it, you won't regret it!

If you loved this reworking, then you need to check out his "Storyteller" performance. He reworks a few different songs of theirs, just him, a piano, and his software. It is truly amazing, definitely shows off his artistry. Nothing more impressive than writing a hit song, and then rewriting it just for fun.

This is by far my favorite remake of theirs and brings tears when I listen. Especially when I'm listening with ear phones and I get the whole experience! Picking a favorite of theirs is like trying to pick a favorite kid, but this one is definitely at the tip top. Haha. Great reaction!!! You're very insightful. You should definitly react the Live session at Brooklyn Storyteller Performance where Tyler (singer) did few reconstruct version of old songs, the best live video from them so far!

I love both versions, to be honest. They are incredible, each in their own way. And the Lollapalooza show which Tyler mentionned is a big festival in Germany =)

I love seeing Tyler’s creative process and the dedication that he puts into everything he does. You could just feel his joy in this video, which considering the darkness and mental health struggles he has faced along the way is great to see. And as others have commented, it’s funny how low key he was about the massive festival he was about to play 😹 They are such a great live band! But it’s fun seeing stripped down reinvented versions of their songs. Once you head down the TØP rabbit hole it’s hard to stop! 😼🐇 ||-//

I loved your reaction to TOP The Hype (Berlin). Could you also react to Chlorine, and then the re-imagined location-session version? Many have mentioned MTV session from last week. Definitely check these out too. Definetly react to originals first (Tear in My Heart, Shy Away, Heathens). You didn't vibe with the original Car Radio version, but in MTV version, they re-imagine it and also mash it up with Heathens - this blew me away, it's my favorite from MTV. Shy Away is from their current album, if you want to see something new (2021). There are also some beautiful piano versions to songs for BBC Radio 1 session - Ride, My Blood, Neon Gravestones, and a cover of Nine Crimes. I think we'll keep you going on TOP for a while. :)

I didn’t like this one as much at first but now I’m in love with it. The Hype was in my top three originally from that album so it was just so different at first. You would likely enjoy watching Tyler deconstruct some of their other songs on the Brooklyn Sessions. I have so much respect for this guy’s work ethic and how he will not stray from his own personal vision. They were asked to perform with Taylor Swift and Tyler turned her down because it didn’t fit with his vision. 🤯
